  More Questions.

  Geneva:

  I decided to stay behind and question Ryan and Hynes.

  I need to know if they know anything about Grayson's disappearance and what they know about the couple in the dungeon.

  Tanchi begins to tell Hynes and Ryan how our family works. “In this family there are no secrets. The children's opinions are just, if not more important as the adults. Geneva, Johanna, Killian and Vlad are present for every meeting and voice their opinions. We work as one unit and we stand united. We may have different ideas but we talk it out without arguing”.

  Before Tan could finish his statement, Uncle Thoran stands up and tells Hynes he just got a link from Vlad, they need to go check the house where the kids were held now. Nome said she will go with them. I look at Lou and tell him to go gather all the electronics. I tell him knowing Vlad like I do he wants everything. Leave no stone unturned. Ryan looks at me like I've grown 2 heads. Uncle Ashura told Ryan. This is exactly what Tanchi was telling you. These children are not to be ignored. I look at Ashura and tell him thank you Uncle. Now Ryan, there are some things that have happened in the past months and we would like to know if you have heard anything. First is the fact that my brother in law Grayson has disappeared from the school. Second, how much do you know about the families that had the 3 children?

  Ryan:

  I am shocked that Alpha's youngest children are so involved in pack decisions and meetings. When their adopted son Tanchi was telling us about how the Dracul family is ran I couldn't believe it. Not until Thoran stood up and said Vlad had linked him and basically gave him orders. I thought he was talking about King Vlad at first until Geneva told Lou to go with them and leave no stone unturned.

  Geneva then asked me if heard anything about Grayson and how much I know about the family who had the 3 orphans. I was shocked to say the least. This little girl can command a room like she is the Alpha. I look at her and know I have to be honest with her. I tell her yes I have heard about Grayson missing but not much more just he suddenly disappeared from the school and no one knows what happened, there is a lot of speculation but nothing seems liable. There was talk about how might have returned to the rogues, but I didn't think that was true, some think he ran off with another female but that isn't something Grayson would do at all. Geneva nodded her head and said useless rumors, all of them.

  Then I tell her what I do know about the 2 families. I know the 2 families traveled together and can here claiming to be seeking asylum from their own pack. From what the mother told me she knew she was sick and was going to die and told me that her pack would make them slaves so they had no choice but to run away. I don't know anything about the family who took the kids in. They rarely came to the pack house. They did live with the couple who had the children in one of the rented houses. They never did become official members of the pack claiming they were leaving in a couple of months. Geneva nods as does Ashura. Then Geneva says. They were probably planning to return the children back to where they came from after finding out who Uncle Wayne and Aunt Sophie-Ann were and they moved back here. I asked her what she meant and she told me the whole truth. Her and Vlad are twins, Grayson's didn't just disappear, he was taken by surprise through a portal somewhere and no one knows where, More powerful supernaturals going missing. The theory about them being taken for experiments, Wayne and Sophie-Ann being covered by darkness, Sophie-Ann going by Sue as a teacher, tasked to kidnap Killian thinking he was Vlad, having their oldest son stolen from them and now just finding out through Vlad linking her, telling her that the 3 orphans are Wayne and Sophie-Ann's biological children. Ashura is just as shocked as I am at this news. Geneva tells us that when Alpha told everyone about Wayne's link saying the children were calling them Mom and Dad. Vlad asked for DNA tests to be done because, how many abused children would call strangers mom and dad unless they were able to scent them or feel the paternal bond with them. The DNA tests came back 99.9 percent that Sophie-Ann and Wayne are their biological parents.

  I tell her that I now understand why Vlad, Johanna, Killian and her are allowed to be involved in important meetings and decisions. She smiles and says that's not all but you will find out in due time.

  Hynes, Thoran, Nome, Louis and Tanchi come back with arm loads of boxes. Hynes says there is more that they weren't able to carry. Ashura calls Maurice, Catilena, Dorian and Nicholas. As they come down the stairs. Geneva asked them if they would please each take a SUV to that house and pack up everything. They don't question her, they just do it. As they leave. Maurice looked at me and it was like he read my mind and said, we never question each other. We know if one asks for a task to be done, there is a reason and we will find out once the task is done. Geneva looks at him and tells him, “ The 3 orphans are not orphans. They are Wayne and Sophie-Ann's biological children. Maurice doesn't say anything else, just nods and leaves. Geneva says to me, we are all like this. We don't order each other around. We respect and trust each other to the point that we do not ask questions. She says this is the very thing you and Hynes will be working with. A family that doesn't question each other because of the respect they have for one another. You as the female Beta will have 2 jobs and that is also what Killian and I would like to discuss with you.

  Killian:

  I know you have a lot to process but it's all very important that you understand. I know the Dracul family is talking to Hynes about what you were just told as well as they're clearing out that house. I don't know if Hynes told you or not but it was us 4 children who chose the winner of the contest and it was our final judgment to have both Hynes and Thoran share the responsibilities of Beta and Gamma.

  We know you are the head chef for the pack house but we would like to give you an option. Stay as head chef or become head chef of the Dracul family and move into a house connected to the main house. Regardless of your decision we have agreed that you will get a pay raise since you will also perform double duty being the only female Beta/ Gamma until Thoran finds his mate.

  Ryan:

  It seems these children have thought of everything. I link Hynes and he confirms everything that I was just told. He confirmed that Alpha has already agreed with the children, but the choice is mine to make. I tell him that moving to a connecting house would make it easier on the both of us and he agrees. I tell Geneva and Killian that we will be moving into the connected house. They jump up and down and hug me, telling me welcome to the family.

  I never thought in a million years that me being an Omega would ever be anything more than a chef at the pack house and Hynes just a regular warrior. I grew up in this pack and knew it was different from many others but now I know how different it really is. Something tells me there is a reason behind all of this but I don't know what it could be. We will just have to wait and see.
