Chapter 13: Cause and Effect
I approach the girl with full speed, with all I have. Julia stood there as if nothing bothered her, grinning about the results that would happen if I jumped at her at that time. I saw that purpose from her and took a step back, accelerating from hundred to zero immediately. Still, she wasn’t surprised of what I did, instead, she was giving me a check, to see if something wrong happened to me. Her face didn’t even show scareness or any signs of anxiety, that meant she had thought of this moment, which would happen.
“This moment I thought of has a one percent chance of happening.”
“...”
“I got a little small ember crystal, I thought I would never see it again. Thanks for having me get the thing I’ve always wanted.”
“...”
“Come on, don’t be like that? Communication is the basic thing to start a relationship or connection with others, isn’t it right, Kinter?”
“...”
As she mentioned before, my thoughts could result in giving her something, all of my actions, speeches and thoughts must be carefully chosen. I have to do something in order to get out of her range, the only thing that could be done is to out-witted her but it seems…extremely hard. I don’t underestimate her, including all of the opponents I faced, they all have special abilities that are difficult to deal with. If it’s the key to win this as usual then the possibility is I have to beat her with something awaken or difficult for me because exceeding the limit is almost the guarantee to accomplish something.
This is just similar to soccer, mindset is the greatest stuff to execute.
“All of those thoughts just for me to take it.”
“Huh?”
What is she…don’t say that all of those words in my mind, she could possibly guess it? What the hell is her deal? This is not something that could be easily done. Wait, she could read my mind or something like that? Because that’s the only possible way.
“No, don’t show your face like that, Kinter?”
She’s trying to have me fall for her trap, this is allowing her to always gain something from my speech because…it’s easier to guess. So the only thing she couldn’t possibly guess right is…Why was I scared? Is this the emotion you’ll get when you’re in the situation that’s dominant for me? If I keep thinking, my feeling of failure would kick in and make me scared.
What should I do? Julia didn’t even move, she was standing there and just looking at what I do. If it’s dangerous then she would instantly dodge but the thing is my action would result in granting her something.
“I should make the first move then.”
The blue cursive dagger was thrown at an extraordinary speed toward my face, then, she instantly dashed to the dagger and stabbed directly to my limb.
Ching
I wouldn’t let her get anything she wants if this results in giving her in something, then be it!
“Look at your back!”
Her prediction was right, a needle went at supersonic speed to me. A harsh look on my face, I turned around to absorb it with my left eye. Just then, Julia took the opportunity to do a round kick, it was a straight strike to my cheek.
“Ugh.”
Got hurted and a red spot on my right cheek shown brighter than ever, I indulged the pain because it’s nothing, just that.
“Oh oh, that must have hurted a lot for you, Kinter.”
I got up and created another sword on my right hand, I had double swords. Not stopping there, dark energy coated around me, making it an aura. I fused myself with dark energy to enhance my attack, I also added magma energy from ‘hell’. Experimenting everything I like.
“Oh oh, what a hard head you have, I got more strength now…”
“Yeah I know, but let’s see if you can do anything against my right eye.”

A clock showed in front of us with both stopping at the same time, just me still conscious. The world presented a yellowish background for the effect of my ability.
“What would you look like if I debunk this?”
Everything flowed into a spiral toward her, she was laughing out loud with her teeth showing the face of someone who has just witnessed something so hilarious and childish to them. That meant she guessed all of them right, my ability, what would I pull out, she guessed all of them right. Well then, I summoned the non-existent dragon out, I would like to see if what I thought of could get her.
“Too bad, Kinter! You can’t beat me! Your abilities are nothing against my ability. Your ability is physically done but mine is mentally done! My range is everywhere you know, you can’t beat the true god!”
“...”
“Your summon has done nothing but given me more strength. You’re making me stronger every time!”
Non-existent immediately rushed to her. Julia was standing there, doing nothing but grin. An invisible force pushed the non-existent dragon down the ground, to the point that the ground broke and showed the lines of the incident.
“Just predicting everything and my ability gave it off is just a deserving reward for me. Thinking of endless possibilities and they are correct, and I get a reward from them is just nice.”
Julia’s ability corresponded with her countless thoughts of things that would happen, if they are right, she would gain benefits of it. That is her talent, it was given to the person likely from the chosen and deserved. I am one of them, so I am also a Poin similar to her. However, if that’s what she could think of then…
I made the long trail of dark energy, she couldn’t see it but probably she would have already thought of it.
“What are you trying to pull off? You just buffed me with more defensive points.”
I quickly rushed and stood in front of her, just about the outcome nearly got to me, I dashed behind her back and stabbed directly to her stomach. I got stabbed by her huge triangular object from above, crushing my behalf.
The dark trails transformed into multiple people, having the same appearance of me. They stood around Julia and each came with a different weapon.
“Thinking I haven’t thought of this outcome? You are such a fool, Kinter!”
All are washed away with an invisible force, each figure lost their upper body, blood and spinal cord, and other organs flew out with dark energy coating them. All of them are my clones.
“How difficult it is for you because all of these are in my predictions, too. I am invulnerable now, you can’t kill me anymore.”
I got up from behind her. Julia felt my presence and instantly turned back and slashed me with her blue cursive sword. I got her arm but her prediction was right so my hand got cut down, and the dagger continued on its path. Decapitating me but my head connected with dark trails so it centered back to its original form, which means that I am completely unharmed.
“What!? You’re invincible? It’s alright, still in my prediction.”

The world flowed into an undetermined time, I got back to the time when I and her started to face each other in another realm. While she was explaining the ability to me. I grinned, I rushed to her and stabbed her in the chest.
Coughing out a lot of blood, Julia didn’t understand a single thing.
“What…just happened? How can you bypass my ability and my prediction!?”
That’s it, she can’t think of the further future of the probability she thought of, she would just think of the one or two possibilities ahead of it but the biggest weakness was at that. She thought I would give up because of how powerful her ability is. If her prediction wasn’t right the next time coming up then everything had gone under my reversing time ability.
“Just like what I thought!”
I started to get ditching into a hole, I can’t do nothing but getting deeper and deeper every second. Julia was laughing, she took out the sword stabbed from her chest. She didn’t die because she wished for temporary invincibility for that specific moment.
“Let’s end this already.”
“Hahaha, What are you talking about? You are going to…”
My clone stabbed her left chest. This time blood was pouring out, Julia also felt the pain of it. Coughing out blood, she started to curse.
“What the fuck!? You can’t do this!, I already guessed this right! You would do something to stab me!”
“Look again, that clone is not me, that’s the non-existent dragon in disguise. You lost Julia, you’re just a weaker version of the reality manipulator. You think this outcome would happen. However, this non-existent dragon is the one I brought from the ‘future’, you didn’t think of the term ‘future’ because you wouldn’t know what I had so when you’re fighting with me, I kept attacking you so you cannot think of the new deals and had to always keep an eye on me because you also think of the outcome that I would bypass you by going ahead you three or four steps.”
“That’s so naive, Kinter. You’re dancing in my hands the whole time. This is my ultimate when I’m sure that I am about to die, a second temporary invincibility. Now, you’re going to…”
Just a way to fool her around…
Touching her left boob, Julia was in revelation,
“What…what are you doing, Kinter?”
“You thought I am not this type of person right? You’re totally wrong, if this is the only way to win, I’ll accept if it means to take away my pride.”
“You’re completely wrong, dumbass. Now, I’ll definitely push you down to mush! Or I’ll simply just erase you!”
“You can’t because…your deals are always getting erased because of my reversing time. Now, they are completely gone.”
Hopeless, Julia started to face down and accepted the fact that she lost. Cause and effect, if there is a cause, then there would be an effect from it. Finally, a solution to solve it.
