Mari is standing still with her hand being held by Raven, and the four others are also standing, surrounding her in the center. Raven has his Vein armor activated to fully stop her hand, though his Vein armor cannot even begin to compare to Mari’s. Mari can easily escape anytime she wishes, but she’s staying still at the moment to get answers about their persistence in not letting her save their friend.
She is an outsider, but her role as a Judge made her feel like she should interfere with this whole thing, especially now that demons are involved.
“Listen, this stuff! This whole demonic thingy your friend is doing is endangering her life! Stop doing this and stop relying on it! It’s not healthy! Stay away from it from now on! I give you my honest opinion as the Judge of Greed!”
“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGHHH!!!”
Diva suddenly shouts loudly, and her high-pitched scream hurts everyone’s ears, including Eissen, who’s standing a bit further from Diva.
“URRGH!!”
“AARRGGHH!!”
“GRRRHH!!!”
“. . .”
Mari remains the only one who was unaffected by her scream.
*BWOOSSHHH*
Diva suddenly flies away from her position, high into the sky.
*BWOOOOSSSHHH*
But Mari jumps up high into the air, chasing after her. Her jump was so powerful that she was actually gaining elevation faster than her.
Everyone quickly recovers from their hurting ears. Eissen walks and approaches the four of them.
“What Mari-chan said is true! You guys shouldn’t be playing with stuff you don’t have a grasp of!” warns Eissen.
“Leader. . .” said Raven.
“Actually, there is something else that I wanna say to all of you!”
“What is it, Eissen-sama??” asked Raiya.
Eissen closes his eyes. He knows whatever he is going to say is going to offend all of them.
“I want you all to forget about my stupid creed!”
*!!!*
The four of them were frozen still by his statement.
“Eissen-sama! I don’t agree with that!” said Martina firmly.
“The creed was the only thing we had regarding you in our missions! And you want us to let it go?” said Robert.
“Isn’t that a bit cruel, Eissen-sama? Why even ask us that question??” said Raiya.
“Yes, leader! That is going a bit too far!” adds Raven.
“Those creeds were made when I still didn’t know anything about what I am doing in my life! It will surely lead you all to an unknown place that will corner you soon in the near future!”
Eissen was frozen midsentence, and his face turned into a frown. His eyes saddened, and his mood dropped drastically.
“Just like I did. . .”
“Eissen-sama?”
Everyone was confused by the way Eissen acted.
“Are you talking about those moments where you disappeared from us? Where were you just being alone?”
“. . .”
Eissen did not say anything, but he nodded his head.
“I have been feeling out of place for a while, even before those times, but I’ve always been able to endure those feelings! Until it got to a point where it just poured out of me. And that’s why I often found solitary places to sort out my feelings.”
“. . .”
Everyone listens to him carefully. This is the very first time Eissen has opened up to them after all these years.
“During that mission where I disappeared, I found God!”
*!!!*
They were pretty confused and shocked at the same time. Out of everything they have thought about what would happen to me, what I just said is definitely not what they had in mind.
“H-Huh?” said Robert.
“Are you joking??” said Martina.
“Why would I be, Martina-chan?” replied Eissen with a serious facial expression.
They all fell silent when they realized I was being serious.
“God has led me to turn away from my current life back then. I stopped killing people. The bloodlust that I used to feel during missions was no longer in me. I still got goosebumps and thrills during battle, but that’s it! God has changed me all the way from the inside. I no longer feel empty and aimless whenever I am doing our Judge duty together with Mari-chan.” said Eissen with a relieved smile at the end of this sentence.
“. . .”
The four of them looked at Eissen and the way he smiled. He was being so genuine, no trace of lies at all behind those smiles. In one way or another, they all understood that Eissen was serious, and they all knew what he was getting at.

“Scorpio! Everyone! Please disband the group and turn away from all of your current lives! Turn towards God, and He too will change you!”
“. . .”
They cannot answer him. Deep down, some of them wanted to say yes, but they suppressed those emotions with the reality of their lives.
“I have to decline your offer, Eissen-sama!” answered Robert.
“Yeah! These missions are our lives!” adds Raiya.
“Yes, Eissen-sama! Agree to disagree!” adds Martina.
“We are not backing down from this decision, Leader!” said Raven.
“I see. . .”
Eissen looks sad. He was hopeful that his lifelong family would turn away from their current lives in the Underworld, but they all said no. He tried, and he realized he couldn’t force anyone into his cause.
“I understand! Then, at least, please listen to and obey my first demand to never touch any demonic things ever again after our current dilemma is solved!”
“That. . .might be possible.” said Raiya.
“Yeah. I kinda lost my drive to kill you, Eissen-sama! I have to respect your decision the way you respect ours!” adds Robert.
“Maybe we really should’ve made our own creed afterward! Kinda our own way to finally diverge from you with respect, Eissen-sama!” said Martina.
“I agree! That would make us shine differently than before, I think! I have no idea what I am saying, though! HAHAHAHAHA!” said Raven.
“You’re always like this, huh, Raven-kun??” said Eissen with a smile.
“You know me, Leader! Bahahahaha!”
“Alright then! We agree to disagree! But now, let us focus on freeing Diva from the clutches of whatever Demon is possessing her now!”
“AGREED!!” responded the four of them in harmony.
Eissen and his old friends are finally in sync with one goal.
Meanwhile, while they were chatting leisurely, Mari had been fighting the possessed Diva this whole time, high in the sky.
*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*
Diva is flying in the air and summoned hundreds of her own sniper rifles, all floating around her in the air. She shoots all of her sniper rifles at Mari, who’s still going up chasing after her from the momentum of her initial jump.
Hundreds of red energy bullets are storming Mari from various angles.
*FWOOOMMMM*
Mari summons her giant scythe, and its blade burns green. She rotates her giant scythe with one hand in front of her really fast.
*FWOOOOOOOOOOOSSSHHHH*
The flame on her blade quickly spread and formed a giant circle wall of green flame in front of her, about four meters in diameter.
*PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW*
All of Diva’s bullets hit her green fire wall, and they all disintegrate on contact.
*FWOOOOMMMM*
*FWOOOOOSSSHHH*
Mari moves her spinning scythe to the side and throws it at Diva above.
“RAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHHH!!!”
*BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG*
She shoots hundreds of her sniper rifles again towards the incoming spinning and burning giant scythe.
*PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW PSHEW*
Yet the same thing happened to all of her bullets. They all were swallowed and disappeared into Mari’s green flame.
“RAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHH!!”
Diva unsummons all of her floating sniper rifles in the air, as well as the one in her hand. She moves both of her hands forward to try to catch Mari’s spinning scythe.
*ZRAAAAAAAASSSHHHH*
“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGHHHH!!!”
She ended up having her hands and torso cut off by Mari’s scythe as she failed to grab the handle while it was spinning at such a high rotating speed and went through completely without any resistance. She groaned in pain as a result, though her body quickly regenerates and merged back into normal.
“HOW ARROGANT!! A MERE DEMON CANNOT HOPE TO TOUCH AND HOLD MY SCYTHE GIVEN BY LORD JESUS!! HAHAHAHAH!! HILARIOUS!!”
Mari has suddenly reached Diva’s elevation in the air, holding the Sword of Purification in her hand.
*STABS*
And she stabs the Sword into her chest. Mari closes her face in towards Diva’s and stares angrily into her eyes.
One.
“HEY!! RELEASE YOUR HOLD OVER THIS GIRL’S BODY!! THIS IS MY SUPPORT’S EX! I’D RATHER NOT HARM HER IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!! YOU UNDERSTAND?”
“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!”
Diva shouted loudly directly into Mari’s face, but it only enraged her instead of harming her in any way.
*GRABS*
She grabs Diva’s face with her free hand.
“SILENCE!!!”
Two.
“MMMMMRRRGGGHHH!!!”
She tries to shout, but most of her voice could not escape through Mari’s hand on her mouth.
“Playtime’s over, stupid demon! GET OUT OF HER BODY NOW!!!”
Three.
*SHIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG*
A gigantic burst of blinding light suddenly erupts high above the sky. It creates a floating dome of light that traps both Mari and Diva inside.
*PRANG PRANG*
But before the dome stayed longer, it immediately cracked open and disintegrated on its own.
“Huh?? What?”
Mari and Diva quickly emerge from the fading dome of light, descending freely towards the ground.
*!*
Mari looks towards Diva and sees that her appearance has returned to normal, with her bodysuit again. None of her transformation appearances seems to leave any trace now. She grabs Diva’s body and carries her in her arms, as she is unconscious now.
“(W-What happened? I was fully committed to doing the Restoration method! I was prepared to dive into her consciousness to free her from the demon! What happened just now?)”
*THUMP*
Mari lands safely on the ground with her Vein armor active. Diva was not harmed in her arms, and she quickly put her down on the ground carefully.
“MARI-CHAN!!”
Mari stands up and turns around. She sees that Eissen and his friends are approaching her. They all saw that Diva’s face had turned back to normal, and they were smiling at her.
*!*
Mari gives her thumbs up with a smile to all of them.
“She’s fine!”
Eissen and the others were relieved seeing Mari’s thumbs up. They also hastened their running speed to check on Diva.
Mari also smiles to herself at the scenery of everyone’s smiles.
“Seems like Ei-chan talked to them and set things in order.”
*?*
But then she realizes that all of their faces have turned into fear, and frowns. They all wave their hands to me, trying to signal me about something.
“W-What is this? Is this a game? Are you guys playing puppets with your hands? Can I join?” said Mari with a smile.
“MARI-CHAN!!! GET OUUUUUUUTTTTTT!!! LOOK BEHIIIINNNDDDD!!!”
*DAHK*
Mari was hit by something on her back, though her danger sense did pick up the incoming attack, and she activated her Vein armor at the very last second. She was sent flying towards Eissen and her friends at a moderately high speed.
*THMPD*
*SSRRRRTTTT*
Though she forces herself to stop by stomping the ground and keeping her feet from sliding on it, to kill the momentum that she was sent flying with.
“Y-you okay, Mari-chan?!”
“Yeah, of course! I don’t feel any pain, but I must say I wasn’t planning on being sent flying! Whatever it was must be pretty powerful!”
“Y-Your new girlfriend is so stupidly sturdy and strong, Eissen-sama! Now that I think about it, she is a close to medium ranged combatant compared to Diva-chan! Perfectly opposites of one another!” observed Martina.
“Eh? You’re noticing this kinda stuff in this situation, Martina-chan?” asked Raven.
“G-Guys, let’s focus! Whatever that thing is doesn’t look like a joke!” said Robert.
“Look sharp, Mari-chan!” said Eissen.
Mari quickly stands up and turns around.
*!!!*
“Of all the things I imagine what was hitting me, THAT is not one of them!”
Everyone saw a creature of some kind hovering over the ground. It is a bunch of human heads that merged together into a giant ball of flesh with five meters in diameter. There are possibly hundreds of human heads just from sheer visual alone, and how close those human heads are together. There are also black, around 20ish tendrils, with a sharp tip that has a similar shape to an arrowhead, that stick out of various spots in between the empty space of the melded human heads together. Each of its tendrils is five meters in length, and they are able to move freely with no restriction. Each human head looked different, with its own differing hairstyles and colors, but they all had the same pitch-black sclerae with glowing red pupils in the center of both eyes. All of the human heads opened their mouth, and they all looked like they were screaming constantly, though no voice came out of any of them.
“W-What is that?” asks Eissen.
“I think I know the name. . .” said Mari.
“WE ARE LEGION! FOR WE ARE NOT ONE BUT MANY!!”
The creature spoke, and its voice reverberated through the entire park, sending shivers down everyone in the vicinity, except Mari.
