  Lily’s room, 21:00. . .

  *GULP*

  Light swallows his own spit at the sight before him.

  “W-What do you think, Light-kun?”

  Lily has styled her hair so that each end of her hair strand is a ringlet. She is also wearing a black onesie dress that reaches all the way to her knees with glitter on its surface, which makes it shine under the light of the room. Her cheeks and lips are bright red from her makeup.

  The very sight of her appearance made Light skip a few heartbeats.

  “I. . . I think I’m falling in love with you for the first time all over again. . .”

  Hearing Light’s honest thought, Lily’s face goes even redder than it already is. They both stay silent, awkwardly staring at each other.

  "A-Anyway, what are you doing in the middle of the night?"

  "Uum, you know, I was just watching this anime. And there's this scene where the two main characters, who are a couple, went to their friend’s wedding and the female main character is wearing something like this, so I kinda wanna try it on. . .”

  “Oh, a cosplay? Though this kinda clothing doesn’t exactly count, because women do wear this in weddings or parties.”

  “EH? Is that so? Awww. . .”

  “You wanna try a real cosplay? Maybe watch anime with less realistic premises!”

  “You have any suggestions, Light-kun?”

  “Yes, actually! And these are some of my favorites as well!”

  Light shows a list of anime titles on his smartphone screen.

  “Yay!! Thank you, Light-kun!”

  Lily suddenly jumps and hugs him.

  “Y-you’re welcome. . .” said Light blushingly.

  Lily lets go of her hug.

  "Actually, there is something that I want to try with you, Light-kun. . ." said Lily while fidgeting and embarrassed.

  "Hm? What is it?”

  Lily pulls his face closer towards hers. Their face is getting closer and closer. Lily moves her head towards Light's ear and puts her index finger against his throat. Light's heart is beating faster, his face turns red, and he's extremely embarrassed, so he closes his eyes. Lily began to whisper.

  "IF YOU EVER CHEAT ON ME, THE NEXT THING THAT TOUCHES YOUR THROAT WON'T BE MY FINGER!"

  The romantic mood around them turns into malice in the blink of an eye. Light's heart almost stopped. He almost fainted when he heard that. His body is shaking, and he slowly falls to the floor.

  "S-SORRY! I WAS JUST KIDDING! THAT WAS A SCENE WHERE A YANDERE GIRL THREATENS HER LOVE INTEREST! I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF THAT SCENE WAS REALISTIC OR NOT!" Lily apologizes immediately and bows on the floor.

  ". . .Uuuhh, i-it's okay. . .it's just an act after all, hahaha. . .!"

  "(M-My girlfriend is way scarier than I'd ever imagined. . .)" said Light to himself.

  Lily quickly gets up, runs outside towards the toilet, and comes back. She has changed her outfit to her usual clothing and sits on her bed. She lies sideways and faces Light while hugging her pillow.

  "Light-kun, it's been a month already. We still haven't found a single clue about the Seventh Judge."

  "You're right. . . The world is a big place after all. We can't expect to hit the jackpot while searching randomly without any direction."

  "The other day, we found out about someone called the 'Nightmare'. After hearing how one of the Judges is an actual serial killer, this 'Nightmare' guy could turn out to be one too."

  ". . . . . Now you're just guessing randomly." says Light as he sits on Lily's bed next to her.

  "I guess. . . Alright, Light-kun, starting tomorrow, let's dig some information from the underworld!"

  "You sure? Won't you be recognized? I thought people of the underworld hold some grudges against you?"

  "Even so, what could they possibly do anyway?"

  "Oh, right, you ARE the Queen of Time after all. I'm just worried that it might bring back some awful memories for you. . ." said Light with a worrying tone towards Lily.

  "Oh. . . you're so kind, Light-kun."

  Lily smiles at him.

  "I'm only kind to you!"

  Light smiles back at her.

  "It's late, we should get some rest for today. I'm going back to my room."

  Light stands up, but Lily pulls his shirt.

  "C-Can we sleep together for the night?"

  Lily asks without looking at Light by hiding her face behind her pillow.

  Light turns around and lowers his head towards her ear. He whispers.

  "Sorry, I might assault you at night if I agreed. For now—"

  *KISSES*

  Light kisses Lily's forehead.

  "—this should suffice. Good night!"

  Lily's face is burning red. Her eyes are going crazy, and she keeps screaming on the inside. She immediately covers herself with a blanket all the way to her face.

  ". . .mmkay. . .good night. . ." said Lily with a very quiet tone.

  Light smiles to himself, hearing her cute response, and leaves her room and goes to sleep in his room.

  The next morning. . .

  The clock says 7.00, and Light has awoken as usual. The first thing he does is pray to the One True God, and afterwards, he heads towards Lily's room. He exits his room and approaches the door to Lily's room. He opens it and enters.

  "Lily, are you awa---"

  "A SHINING STAR THAT STRIKES PEOPLE'S HEARTS. A BRIGHT RAY OF HOPE THAT STRIKES DOWN EVIL. MAGICAL GIRL STAR FORCE LILY HAS ARRIVED!!"

  The first thing Light sees after opening the door is Lily, posing as an anime magical girl, doing a pose and repeating the lines that were said in the anime. Lily slowly turns her head towards Light with eyes as if they belong to someone who's given up on life. Light slowly closes the door as he looks devastatingly disappointed.

  *THUD THUD THUD*

  Lily runs towards the door and grabs the doorknob, and immediately pulls it hard. Light also pulls the door hard in response.

  "IT'S A MISUNDERSTANDING!!"

  "THERE IS NO MISUNDERSTANDING GOING ON RIGHT NOW! IT'S CRYSTAL CLEAR!!"

  "I-I-I-I-I WAS JUST DOING MY OWN THINGS!! IT'S FINE, RIGHT??"

  "THEN WHY ARE YOU MAKING UP EXCUSES?? STOP PULLING THE DOOR!!!"

  "UUURGGH!!! LISTEN TO MEEEEEEE!!!"

  "JUST ADMIT THAT YOU'RE EMBARRASSED AND YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!"

  "YES, THIS IS EMBARASSING, AND I WANT TO DIIIIEEEEE!!!"

  Light and Lily keep pulling the door as they struggle in a tug of war while also throwing banters at each other.

  "GO TAKE A BATH AND GET READY!!!" shouts Light.

  "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALREADY!!!" shouts Lily.

  15 minutes later. . .

  "You ready? Leave anything behind?"

  "No, I'm ready!"

  "Okay, let's go!"

  Light and Lily were behind the front door. They were warning each other to prepare properly for today's routine.

  *KNOCK KNOCK*

  "Huh?"

  "Oh, it's probably them." answers Light.

  Light opens the door.

  "Good morning, Light-nii-san, Lily-onee-chan!"

  "Rena-chan?" said Lily, surprised.

  "Yo! Good morning, you two!"

  "Runelt-san is here too? Wait, Light-kun, how did you know they were here before you opened the door?"

  "A Judge can feel the presence of another when they are in a certain range."

  "Wow, yet another thing you never told me till it happened."

  "S-Sorry again. . ."

  "Wait, only between the Judges? The Support can't do the same?" Lily asks.

  "No, but the Support can feel the presence of their Judge when they are close enough, too. It doesn't work the other way around, though." Runelt explains.

  "I see. . ." Lily understands.

  "Anyway, why are you two here first thing in the morning? You guys never even visited me before." asks Light.

  "Rena insisted that she wanted to visit you and check your house, and then we planned to visit Lily's as well. We meant to ask you where she lives. . ."

  Runelt suddenly stops. He and Rena have a blank look in their eyes.

  "Wait a minute, why is she already here so early in the morning?"

  "Nii-san, she probably came here a lot earlier, and they were about to head out when we arrived."

  "But look—"

  Runelt points downwards towards Lily's shoes, which she hasn't worn yet.

  "—if she were coming here, her shoes would be facing inside the house, not facing the front door."

  "D-D-D-D-Don't tell me. . ."

  Rena is fidgeting and frightened.

  "YOU TWO LIVE TOGETHER UNDER THE SAME ROOF?" Rena shouts out her suspicion.

  "Yes, we are."

  Light and Lily answer together with flat tones.

  "Why are you making such a big deal out of this?" asks Light.

  "(Also, why the shoes were such indicators to them. . .)" wonders Lily in her head.

  "A HEALTHY BOY AND A HEALTHY GIRL LIVING UNDER THE SAME ROOF? ARE YOU TWO INSANE?" said Rena.

  "Hmm?" Light and Lily are both confused as they tilt their head sideways in synch.

  "Y-Y-YOU GUYS MUST BE DOING SOME NAUGHTY ADULT ACTIVITIES NON-STOP TO ONE ANOTHER!!" Rena shouts as she points towards both of them.

  ". . . . . . "

  "HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHH?" Light and Lily's faces turn red as they both are embarrassed by that mere accusation, especially after that little exchange from last night.

  "YOU GUYS PROBABLY DIDN'T EVEN SLEEP LAST NIGHT AND JUST WENT AT IT WILDLY TO EACH OTHER UNTIL MORNING!!"

  "NO, WE DID NOT!!" Light and Lily reject Rena's accusation.

  But then they realized that their interactions with each other had been somewhat intimate. Light and Lily have been physically close ever since Lily's first day as the Support. They also realized they had hugged each other quite often after all this time. Their faces turn red again.

  "I think all lovey-dovey happy couples should just die horrible deaths." said Rena with a very threatening tone and murderous expression.

  "Oy! Enough already!"

  Runelt puts his hand on Rena's shoulder.

  "S-So, the next thing I was about to tell you was this!"

  Light, Lily, and Rena's mood shifted after all of that banters.

  "I found a clue about the whereabouts of the 4th Judge pair."

  *!!!*

  "There have been some strange, sharp drops in temperature around certain locations around the world that are usually a desert or an extremely dry place."

  "What does that have to do with the 4th Judge pair?" asks Light.

  "Because the 4th Judge's Faith power is an ice elemental type!"

  "You even found out about their Faith power. Where did you get this info?"

  "From some underworld organization, we met them a few days ago during our Judge's duty."

  "The 4th Judge. . . Which sins are they a Judge of?"

  "Envy. The Judge of Envy. Also, it's a she."

  "A female Judge? I wonder what kind of person she is." said Lily.

  "So, Light, Lily-san, let us be the ones to search for the 4th Judge pair. You guys handle the 7th Judge."

  "I see. Yes, we'll leave them to you guys!" Light agrees.

  Then the four of them leave Light's house, and they both split up as pairs to do their Judge duty on their own.

  13.00 at a random city. . .

  Light, as usual, is flying above the sky, carrying Lily on his back.

  "Light-kun, when are we done for today?"

  "Can't say. We're heading home at 21:00, and if we don't detect anything on the way home, we're done for the day."

  "Then, can I go home earlier without you? I wanna do something."

  "Hm? That's rare. What are you planning?"

  "Hehehe, you'll see." Lily answers with a smile on her face.

  "Okay, okay. . . By the way, Lily."

  "Yes?"

  "I still hold on to that promise I gave you."

  "Is it about my past?"

  "Yes. I swear, I'll hunt down every single one of them, even if they only have the slightest connection to the facility."

  Lily smiles and wraps her hands around Light's neck, and hugs him from behind tightly.

  "Thank you, Light-kun."

  Light was relieved and happy from Lily's hug. He puts his hand on her hand.

  "No! Thank you. . ." said Light.

  *!!!*

  "LILY!"

  "YES!"

  Lily uses her time-stop and halts the flow of time while Light activates his Lust vision.

  "There!"

  Light points to a house on the outer side of a city below them. He descends rapidly towards the house and lands on the roof. He puts Lily down.

  "Where is it, Light-kun?"

  "Right under this roof, on the second floor."

  Light blackens his feet. He absorbs gravity on his foot and stomps the roof. He breaks through the roof with ease and falls down directly into the room below. Lily jumps down immediately following him.

  "Wha—"

  Light saw a nightmare, a situation that he wanted to avoid at all costs. There are multiple high school students, both males and females, inside. The females were stripped naked and tied with a rope, with their mouths covered by duct tape. The males were in the middle of raping them.

  "L-Light-kun! What should we do?"

  ". . ."

  "Light-kun?"

  "Lily. Undo your time stop, and immediately pull away all of the girls here outside the bedroom, then lock this room and don't let anyone in OR out through this door!" said Light with a deep tone.

  "U-Understood."

  Lily undoes her time stop. She immediately accelerates herself and moves quickly towards every girl in the room, and pulls them outside the bedroom. She then shuts the bedroom door.

  "Mmmhhh!!"

  "MMMPHHH!"

  The girls were crying under their duct tape-covered mouths. Lily then unties all of the girls and pulls off all of the duct tape from every girl.

  "It's okay, you're safe now!"

  "THANK YOU! THANK YOU FOR SAVING US!"

  "What happened?" asks Lily.

  "W-we were invited to this house. They said that they are inviting us to a party."

  "We are some of the non-popular girls at school, and these guys are pretty cool and popular at school."

  "But then. . .*sobs* they drugged us *sobs*"

  "When we woke up, we were already being raped. We lost our purity to some jerks who took advantage of us *sobs*."

  "Don't worry. I can help you with that."

  "Huh?"

  The girls were all confused by Lily's words. Lily raises her palm and points them towards the girls, and their bodies shine in blue light.

  "Rewind."

  All of the girls' bodies were reverted to a state where all of this hadn't happened yet.

  "I've returned all of your womanhood. It is something precious that should never be lost to this kind of incident."

  "Y-You can do that?" said one of the girls.

  "Yes, I am a Believer, and my Faith power allows me to manipulate time." answers Lily with a smile towards the girls.

  Every single one of the girls rushed to Lily and hugged her in gratitude.

  "THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

  "We'll never forget this kindness!"

  "Thank you *sobs* thank you!!"

  Lily was touched as she was surrounded and hugged by girls all around her.

  "(Gratitude. . . feels nice. WAIT A MINUTE, Light-kun said he has been a Judge for two years now, does that mean she gets hugged by girls all the time?)"

  And then Lily's imagination went a little bit wilder. Lily is imagining how Light gets a lot of girls to have his way with them as thanks for saving them.

  "(GRRRRRR!!! For some reason, I'M PISSED!!)"

  ". . . ."

  "(*sigh* What am I thinking? We're in the middle of Judgment. I should concentrate!!)"
