We suspect that the Realm might actually have multiple universes, but it was not confirmed yet. We had fulfilled certain criterias to be introduced to the rest of the Realm, which means that it was not us who discovered them, but the other way around. As you might know from our history, this might go really badly for us.

  “Even though we have our technology, they had a long time to upgrade their Stats in the same way we are starting to do with the Trials. As far as we know, we can upgrade them without limit. There are some barriers to pass, but it is not a real limit.

  “As for what the Stats are? They seem a representation of parts of our being. Body, Vitality and Mind were things we had before. And that’s why most people have at least one of them in more than one. Energy is something new that was not on Earth before.

  “With our information, we can confirm that having 5 in our Stats was the absolute peak of a human being before the integration. Now consider beings who have been able to improve them for their whole lives. You can now guess what that means for them.

  “Having the System is an opportunity to grow, but also a trial for all of us. Apparently, the System is looking for our talents, and it will test us and we have to succeed. If we fail, we will be invaded by aliens. We have confirmed this information from a reliable source.

  “This is Tomas from channel 13. Do you know about the level of technology of the aliens? Can we use our weapons to win?”

  “Do you need to keep saying from what channel you are? It seems like a waste of time,” Milagros commented without any tact at all. “We do not know how advanced their technology is, it appears to be developed in a completely different way than ours. What we know is that they might have a way to come here just as the Monoliths with the Trials appeared. We also know that the System will not let us pass the trial it is preparing just with technology, but we don’t know how that is going to apply. It is evident that it wants us to use the provided weapons, in which even simple guns are heavily limited,” Milagros answered and pointed to another person.

  “Do you have any advice for the Trial?”

  “You were right when you decided to not share the information yourself,” Amelia praised him.

  “I can’t believe I am seated with the most wanted person in the world right now,” Gabriela joked.

  “Well, I trust you will not sell me out,” Emilio said.

  “Nah, I prefer to be the first in line to receive the information and it is true that you made public what was needed. Also, 10 dollars is quite cheap for all the information you are giving,” Gabriela explained.

  “It might be cheap, but KimTec is going to make a fortune with this deal. I am not sorry anymore for the money they are spending on us. Do you want to guess how many millions they will earn in the next week?” Emilio wondered.

  “I say over 500,” Amelia guessed.

  “You might be short there, she did quite fine in generating panic,” Gabriela pointed out.

  “They will really make a killing here,” Gabriela whistled.

  “They are kind of greedy aren’t they?” Amelia said.

  “Well, they are the only ones with the information and they have the option of an accessible price for the public,” Emilio explained, “It even says that higher tier is not absolute priority, but that they will send two of a higher priority before sending one of the lower. So if you are early you might actually get it sooner than someone who paid more.”

  “You made them a fortune,” Gabriela stated.

  “Yes, but I couldn’t have made this fortune by myself. If I tried to do it, it might actually be a curse. I think I actually made the most I could out of our information,” Emilio admitted, still wondering just how much money he had managed to gather for KimTec. One thing was for sure, he was not going to hold back on expenses.
