Gabriela decided to meet with each of her students alone to know all of their Skills, but she still kept the information from each other. In the future, they might face people with unknown Skills which meant that it was quite good for them to train with each other without knowing the full extent of their abilities.
The only problem was that Emilio was actually afraid of the weird smile on Gabriela's face when he actually disclosed both of his Skills and the synergy he found between them. He was sure she was going to use his recovery as part of his training which meant he was in for a lot of pain.
After Gabriela got all of the information, she decided to take some time to actually make a training plan for them. By the time she finished with her draft, there was not a lot of time left until the KimTec public press conference.
Emilio turned on the TV and tuned in to some random news channel. Practically all of them were talking about KimTec and waiting for the press conference to start, with journalists on site ready for the event.
Of course they were not just waiting, but they were throwing all kinds of theories about what was going to happen in a few minutes. In reality, it was just guesswork or blabbering just to catch some of the audience.
One thing that everyone did talk about was about what happened in the internal meeting in the morning that was obviously leaked. The fact that KimTec stopped all business and made all employees go to the Trial showed its current point of view and just made people more hyped to see what was going to happen at the press conference.
“So, how about we take some time to meet each other while we wait?” Emilio asked “I was a software developer in KimTec until recently and Ami was just a student in her summer vacations.”
“Good idea,” Amelia gave a thumbs up to her uncle. “I like sports and videogames. I usually live with my mom who had to leave the country for a week. Which turned out to be longer because she made the Trial over there.”
“Did she do it before you discovered the wait time? That’s some bad luck,” Gabriela commented. “I live with my husband and daughter. We used to live on Parque Patricios, but we are now staying at a hotel near here, courtesy of KimTec. We had not taken the Trials when we were contacted by Milagros and when she told us about not being able to move Monoliths easily, we decided to do it near here. After all, in a few days we will be moving nearby. KimTec is even doing the packing and unpacking for us.”
“Thank you for moving for us,” Emilio thanked her.
“It was for me. I was renting, and I am being offered a house of my own. I just have to train both of you and I even get a salary over the house. It was a no brainer.”
“Well thank you either way,” Emilio dismissed her reasons. “Did all of you do the Trial in a Monolith nearby?”
“We did it in your Monolith. By the way, Tuor thanks you for passing the voice about giving tips.
My husband went for the Body Trial and couldn’t get any Stat. As for my daughter, she got one point in Mind.”
“If they are nearby and want to join us I have no problem. They might also need to know how to defend themselves,” Emilio invited her family, knowing that everybody might need to train to pass whatever was waiting for them in the future.

“Thank you, I will ask them if they want, but I don’t plan to let them be in a position where they have to use any self defense. I will defend them myself and if I am not enough for what’s to come then that is a good reason to train you as best as I can.”
“I’ll do my best then,” Emilio smiled, not really sure if he was going to be able to do anything if their teacher couldn’t.
“Me too,” Amelia agreed. “By the way, are you going to be eating with us? If you got six total extra points you should also be eating a lot more than normal.”
“That’s a good question, Ami,” Emilio agreed. “Gabi, you and your family are welcome to eat with us if you want. I am sure I can get Mili to send an extra mega portion of food and two normal ones, but it is your choice if you want to join us or not. It’s your free time, after all.” Emilio added.
“Wait, what do you mean about eating more than normal?” Gabriela asked.
“Didn’t Mili tell you about this? We are eating about five times more food than before because of our increased Stats. Given what you told us, your stats should be quite similar to ours,” Emilio explained.
“I have 8 Vitality. But I haven't had a meal since getting out of the Trial. I might have missed that detail from the information package they sent me. Are you really eating that much?” Gabriela asked.
“Yup, thankfully Mili is covering us with that,” Amelia commented.
“I’ll keep it in mind. Either way, I am happy to eat lunch with you, but for dinner I first have to ask my family if they want to join the training and, after that, if they want to stay.”
“I will tell Mili about the possibility. We also have to consider that after Thursday we might actually need even more food. I hope Tuor has a solution for this issue.”
“Look, the broadcast is starting,” Amelia interrupted them, looking at the TV. On the screen, they could see Marcos in a room full of reporters.
“Hello everyone, I am Marcos Di Tella, the CEO of KimTec. I summoned this press conference that will be publicly broadcasted to talk about the issue that all of us have noticed: the Realm System. We have had the luck to have an informer who was able to give us privileged information, but the source of the information and the informant will be kept confidential. We did verify that the source is real, but we will not say anything about it because of a confidentiality issue.
“We have quite a lot of information, but sadly, not all of it is good news. There are some things that are even possibly catastrophic for humanity. Given the severity of the news, we decided to make the most crucial information public for everyone to know what we are dealing with, but, as you might know, we can’t talk about everything in public because we are blocked by the System itself.
“To solve this problem we decided to make this public broadcast with the crucial information that we believe that everybody should know, but also make a subscription for the rest of the information. The subscription value will be 10 US dollars per person per month, with some discounts for enterprises or governments who want to buy it for their employees.
“This subscription includes regularly updated information as soon as we can get it, but it is subject to the information we are able to send with the System restrictions. At the moment you purchase the subscription, you will receive a detailed document with information we can share with everyone. You can also declare the Trials you did and what you’ve purchased to allow us to send you all of the information you can access.
“This will be a legally binding declaration on your part, and it is quite easily enforceable as the restricted information will have to be sent individually to fulfill the System’s requirements, with the System itself notifying us if we are about to send them to someone without the qualifications.
“With that said, as far as we know, the limits on the information comes from the Trials taken and things you’ve purchased in the Trial. If there are new limitations discovered we will let you know.
“I will now leave you with Milagros Primiterra, our Chief Real System Officer who can share with you the critical information we managed to gather.”
