The world is on the brink of war. Tensions are high between the United European Nations and their enemies: Russia and the Americans. Despite mounting hostilities and previous wars, the Peaceful Space Treaty has endured, maintaining cooperation throughout the solar system, the deep-space outposts, and the colonies on Teegarden’s Star b. At least it endured until now. For the first time, weapons have been sent into space.
