In this reimagined version of Count Dracula, I wanted and felt inspired to portray a young, mentally troubled Dracula with bloodthirsty impulses. Bearing the name Van Helsing, he is not frightening but elegant, with the coldness and neutrality of a psychopath, driven by a desire to save or to be saved.
