  Origin: Unknown. Auri was found injured and without memory next to a pond at the edge of the Umbral Abyss. Since then, he has been taken in by the inhabitants of Newleaf Village and now seeks to build a new life there.

  Ability: Lightning Rod

  Instead of being harmed by electric-type energy, Lightning Rod allows the Abilityholder to instinctively draw it towards themselves and absorb it without taking any damage in the process. This protects allies from damage and increases the Abilityholders own electrical power for a short time. It's a passive ability, but the Abilityholder can feel when it activates, and even surpress it.

  Auri is the kind of quiet you notice, not because it demands attention, but because it stands in stark contrast to everything else. He watches more than he speaks, listens before he acts, and weighs his words with care. His sense of justice runs deep, the kind that doesn’t boast or grandstand but acts instead, no matter if others take notice of his actions or not. Auri doesn’t help others for praise. He helps because he can’t not. If someone’s in danger, he steps in. If someone’s wronged, he tries to make it right. Even if it hurts him in the process. He carries an air of quiet resilience, unshaken by pain, rarely flustered, and determined to push forward even when the odds are poor. But beneath that composed exterior lies something else. A weight he doesn’t share, maybe doesn’t even really understand. Auri’s not distant out of arrogance or fear, he’s just unsure where he fits in. But little by little, he's learning that he doesn’t have to carry everything alone. He’s still learning to trust. Still learning to open up. But for those few who get close, he becomes a steady, unwavering presence in their lives. He doesn’t need the spotlight. He just needs to find a new purpose.
