Chapter 42(Intermission): Latest News From BonBon At The Fallen Kingdoms

"Is that enough, Bon?" A beautiful bunny in a black t-shirt with the text MUA, indicating she was a make-up artist in the studio. Her fur was perfect, with no tears.

The reporter who was getting the make-up had become famous as she was one of the hottest animals in Valiant. Heritage from Bunnies who changed on the day of the incident and turned into Bonnys, a species of bunnies that were completely white with blue eyes. The Village she came from was all white, and it was famous for having the most beautiful species in Valiant. What nobody knew about her was that she had fallen for another bonny; a different species was also affected the day the war ended. A species of black boonies; they were famous for their black fur and red eyes, and speculation arose that they hailed from Hell, but there was no proof or evidence of that. Compared to the white Bonnies, they were almost twice as big and looked and walked more like humans, with slimmer bodies. At the same time, the white ones were a little heavier under their bodies and could also walk on two legs; the biggest difference between these two species was that the white ones gave birth to many female bonnies, while the black ones gave birth to many male bonnies. In the human world, someone might consider this Yin and Yang, but in Valiant, it was two villages hating each other. The white Crac, as white crocodiles that were running on two legs instead of four, and had mouths that looked like a parrot's mouth, was the black bonnies' allies.

In contrast, the white bonnies had Leokan, a species with pitch-black legs, resembling half a Kangaroo's body, and the special ability to jump. The upper body was yellow, with black dots, and their heads resembled a leopard's. In total, 4 species were at war with each other for many years. The News Anchor Bonbon had done the worst possible thing anyone in her Village could do; she had fallen for one Bonny from the other Village, which is forbidden. Working for the last two years on the news cast in The Fallen Kingdoms, where the name of the kingdoms had come after the war as several liutanants connected to Hell had attacked weakened kingdoms and were planning to bomb a path to Earth when all ten kingdoms closed shut from the rest of Valiant a month ago. While the news studio was not large before, she got a break when the Valiantian Princess, the princess of all kingdoms, came from Paladin to help build peace across all the kingdoms. Still, since the attack on Wizard Kingdom, all the kingdoms closed their doors. The Super Hero Kingdom, as they called themselves, gathered in the parts all over the ten kingdoms wherever possible, and they created their own justice system. While BonBon is afraid to confront the injustice, her dear love is in the town of Dorei Shuyosho, with no escape in sight.

She stared at herself in the mirror, at the two pink dots the make-up artist had put on her, all stolen from Earth and bought from the black market from New Hope & Paladin Woods. BonBon made a fake smile, but she was not happy.

"Do you like it, BonBon?" The Make-up bunny asked her about Bonbons' beauty.

  "Yes, thank you, Betty!"

She got out of the small dressing room and met up directly with another grey bunny wearing a black shirt with the text 'STAFF'.

"Today's news is the disappearance of a messenger dog and the villain's journey." BonBon stopped looking at her staff.

"Are the Villains still alive?" She asked, surprised by the news coverage, as she had thought they would definitely die in the station right before Dorei Shuyosho.

"How many Villains are there?" BonBon asked.

  "They are three now!"

"Who is the expert second chair today?"

"It is Lord Kaffan from Liston Town, a former escapee from The Elves Kingdom."

Bonbon did not like the guest invited, as he was a coward who worked under the rulers of the Elves' Kingdom, but escaped when things got too hard. This Elf was also a supporter of the Super Hero Kingdom, as they call themselves, which did not sit well with her.

She walked into the larger area, where she stopped by a big red bird with an open mouth.

"You ready, Gopper? Have you sent the signal to all colleagues?"

Gopper nodded and opened its mouth, pointing towards the big desk. The other two staff stood behind while BonBon moved behind the desk and smiled with her two big teeth at Lord Kaffan and commented:

"I am happy that you had the time to visit us."

Lord Kaffan made a disgusting fake smile at her and answered:

"Of course, everything for the Super Hero Kingdom."

The staff behind the red bird put their pawns quietly three, two, one. A weak blue light shone around the whole table.

"Hello! Welcome to BonBon News, with the latest happenings from The Fallen Kingdoms. On today's schedule, we are going to discuss The Messenger Dog, who created chaos and got a bounty suddenly on its head, and the Villains who have entered The Fallen Kingdoms and created a lot of disturbance while moving towards the direction of Dorei Shuyosho Town, which makes a lot of citizens worried in The Fallen Kingdoms, as many are worried that he will cause havoc if he visits the Queen of the Elves in their Kingdom. We will start with the first subject today. We will present the first footage taken by our live crew with the red bird Topper, who reported it live a month ago."

A small red bird flew up on Gopper's head and opened its mouth as a small screen showed up behind BonBon and Kaffan as both turned to watch the screen:

"B.B.B.B.B. My name is Berra Golden, tam tam tam!"

"I have to excuse the shaky experience as Topper was sitting on the back of the Cukrin dog while it traveled." BonBon tried explaining the shaking footage.

She noticed a flicker on the screen and knew someone had manipulated the footage, but the audience watching it had no clue.

"BAM BAM BAM! I AM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU! VAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!"

Everyone looked at the screen as a big paw, created by the wind, mauled its way through the Village before the footage cut.

Both turned back towards Gopper again.

"So, a Cukrin dog decides to stop working as a messenger and instead chooses a life of destruction. Any thoughts, Lord Kaffan?"

"All I can say is that it is the first time a Cukrin dog has killed citizens." BonBon nodded, but knew how fake Kaffan was as he continued, "I agree that putting a bounty on five million Randid for a Cukrin is the right decision by the Super Hero Kingdom and adding to the information that several innocent citizens had to see a Cukrin dog act like this must be painful as many of the dogs who has retired have often returned to someone who they have delivered a message to and decided to stay at their home as a family dog. Now, if we look at the situation created by this Cukrin, it can happen that a lot of families either kick retired Cukrins from their home or even kill them, which would not surprise me at all if it happened."

BonBon looked at the fake response from Kaffan, as it was citizens from Super Hero Kingdom who killed innocent citizens who resisted their unfair justice system. She knew because her lover was gone, and she had not seen him since things changed, as the Super Heroes have tried to take more and more advantage of all the kingdoms.

"I agree!" BonBon answered even though she did not agree at all.

"Moving on, Several days ago, a dangerous criminal responsible for the death of Valdor, the King of Valiant, escaped from prison in Paladin Woods and entered the outskirts of the Elves Kingdom. Together with him was a dangerous assassin from the Herkattona clan, despite rumors that no more assassins existed from the clan. On beautiful, green grass, a big hole spread wide, with the danger of falling to the other side of Valiant in the Hellfire area. The hole has since then been covered up; there is no news about who did this incredible deed for the citizens. After the Villains had kidnapped and killed a farmer in the train and progressed through the stations, they met a lieutenant in one of the towns, Maentro, who sadly passed away when the creature tried to fight off the three team members of The Van Polan team, as they call themselves. The young hunter Torgild managed with his last strength to chase away the Villains after his heroic attempt to break the curse that the Villains had created, and they gathered everyone around in a big crowd and managed to chase the Van Polan team back to the train. Here is live footage taken from a Toffer that was filming from above in one of the windows."

A small screen lit up between them again as they watched the footage, in the moment when Berk was backing away from Maentro, and it flickered again, as Bonbon knew the manipulation happening again. The footage slowed down in slowmotion when Berk twisted back and forth, and Mejni was caught in the chain and pulled towards Maentro's head as it got sliced into three when Berk hit Maentro in the chest as a fire burned away Its upperbody, making it fall on its knee, and then it fell on the floor. Berk, covered in blood, could barely stand, but BonBon saw her chance to ask Kaffan about the bloody parts on Berk. The footage keeps playing, with Berk reaching out his arms like he owned the world and laughing into the air, screaming.

"I AM INVINCIBLE!" Before the footage froze, it showed Berk, even zoomed in, with a big smile on his face.

"Any thoughts, Lord Kaffan?" BonBon asked.

"We see clearly on the footage how evil this dangerous Villain is and the team he is traveling with. There is a reason why they such a big bounty on him; he clearly does not have his mind in the right place."

"How about all the blood on his outfit?" BonBon asked.

"Yes, what a tragic view, and we are sorry from the studio that all citizens have to see that. He has killed so many and covered his outfit with the blood of the citizens; I really feel sorry for everyone who had to go through suffering, getting their family members killed by the Villains team."

BonBon needed to push harder because it was clear there were injuries to the man.

"Is it confirmed that the blood on the man is from the citizens?"

She was hoping to corner Kaffan without it looking like she was questioning the Super Hero Kingdom.

"Am I the only one who watched the footage?" Kaffan laughed at his own question and then continued," We see clearly how he is laughing with his arms out in the disgusting matter when one of the fallen heroes dies trying to protect the whole town." Kaffan ended it, shaking his head in disappointment.

BonBon kept nodding at Kaffan's lies, as he was the biggest hypocrite who abandoned his Kingdom and escaped for his life.

"The Liston train has started its journey toward Dorei Shuyosho, which is the last station, but the direction changed, and the train is moving around the mountains, which takes a whole day longer to travel to Dorei. What are your thoughts on the enemies deciding to take a longer track around the mountain instead of moving forward, which would have gotten them to Dorei the same day?"

"All I can say is that it is a planned move by the enemies. The Villains are trying to figure out a plan to attack, but will fail, of course, as all of them will die."

"How do you know that?" BonBon countered, curious.

"Maentro was working under General Scryter, who has several powerful Liutanants also in Dorei Town. I see no reason why they should have any problems killing all the Villains, and with the tenth-ranked General Scryter there, I do not see the Villains having any chance of survival."

"That sounds so great and will make the citizens feel safe when they go to sleep tonight."

"I certainly hope so!" Kaffan smiled widely before bursting out in laughter.

"Last question, while Berk Van Polan has a huge bounty on his head, there are Mejni Herkattona and Tinker Blinker on the team. We know Berk Van Polan is powerful, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on Mejni Herkattona and Tinker Blinker, whom we haven't mentioned much here."

Kaffan laughed it off as if it were nothing, but BonBon knew it wasn't. Both of them wouldn't have wanted posters spread out all over The Fallen Kingdoms if they weren't considered dangerous. She had even heard rumors about their posters being spread out all over Valiant, right down to Hell. That is nothing to joke about if the rumor is true.

"The information I got is that the Herkattona clan has had all their assassins killed when Scryter and his team destroyed their Village a long time ago. This one, who is called Mejni, may present itself as a Meerkat from the Herkattona clan, but I am pretty sure it is not true. The reports say they killed everyone in that Village, and from the opposing Village, a couple of Meerkats managed to escape, but mostly baby Meerkats. I am not worried about this fake Meerkat assassin, as it will be killed in an instant by their leader, Berk. Tinker seems to be new to the team they are building; she was in transportation to Dorei before Berk and Mejni attacked the Samurai soldiers from Lady Samurai Kingdom. That is a very dangerous path for this team. If they ever enter the Lady Samurai Kingdom, all of them will get their heads cut off. Tinker is used to working alone; it may be that the leader, Berk, is using her as his personal tool and taking advantage of her body. She may be clinging to him because he has a very high bounty on his head, and she will escape when she sees fit. Berk will be the first one attacked by our true heroes, and Mejni will be the second, as the Meerkat has a higher bounty than Tinker. Citizens should keep their distance from her as she is a bomb expert and can create bombs with large explosions. A good example is when she was a child who triggered one of her grandfather's bombs and wiped out a whole village; it is still a mystery how she survived that explosion." Kaffan ended the simple question from BonBon, who gave him a fake smile.

"Thank you for coming in as a guest expert today," Bonbon said.

"Thank you, BonBon, for inviting me," Kaffan said as the shining light cut off, with Gopper closing its mouth.

"Always a pleasure meeting you, BonBon, let us do this again sometime," Kaffan said and got up from the chair and disappeared from their little news studio.

She moved from the desk and approached Gopper, watching the Topper on its head.

"Can I check the Topper, please, Gopper?" she asked.

Gopper slightly leaned its head as the Topper fell into her arms. She moved to the desk and pressed the neck of the Topper as the footage replayed. She looked around the Topper, checking for anything, until she noticed the Topper's eyes. Instead of white and black, it was white and red. She moved her paws, trying to find something, until a small, black dot-like thing got stuck on her paw. She scraped her paw on the edge of the table and got the little thing off her paw as she tried to look closer to see what it was, but it was too small to see exactly what it was. She raised her head and noticed the man covered in blood; he had injuries all over his body. It was not blood from citizens on his outfit; he looked seriously injured. She backed away a couple of steps to get a wider view as the footage played itself, and right after they killed Maentro, he fell on his knees when Tinker jumped on him, trying to protect him from getting hit by the Meerkat. She pressed the head on the Topper as the footage paused, unable to believe her eyes. A little manipulation was okay, but changing the whole video, making him look really evil, was something she had never seen on the news. The staff of two joined up beside her as they stared at it.

"Lady BonBon...t-that is not the footage we had, right?" The staff bunny asked.

BonBon took two steps forward and just stared at Berk.

"No!" she told the other two.

"Then...Why has the footage been manipulated? MUA asked.

BonBon turned to them, her ears down, looking sad, and answered:

"What if that man there is not the Villain we have gotten our reports on. What if...He is the saviour of The Fallen Kingdoms, and we have just sent out a message about how dangerous he is, and everyone will hunt him down and try to kill him. What if he is traveling to Dorei to save its citizens?"

All three of them stared at the frozen footage of an injured Berk as it was quiet; nobody said anything. It may be that they have just made his journey even harder than it already is.

  Meanwhile, in the train...

"You have to be fucking kidding with me!" I looked at the damn lit-up footage screen of the shit red bird fuck who played up some fake thing about me.

"They just showed off our pictures and how they made fake examples of how dangerous we are."

"Wy Torgold hero?" Mejni asked as the light turned off and the footage disappeared.

I got up from my lying position as the goth Witch was trying to fix all the bandages around my upper body, but I was so pissed off.

"Hey Bird, play that shit again!" The bird looked at me, then looked away, and flew out of the Window.

"YOU DAMN FUCKING FAKE BIRD SHIT, COME BACK HERE!"

"What are we going to do now? They know we are on our way to the next town."

I looked at our team, which had been injured a lot by the last station visit. There is only one thing to do.

"Well, they are already counting us out, bragging about killing us. We kill...We kill all enemies that try blocking our path."

Tinker smiled and watched out the Window as the mountains covered the view on the right. Mejni smiled again, tongue out, as I had been worried for a while that he would have trouble recovering from Berserker mode earlier.
