Chapter Seven: Getting ID and Banking

"Phew, good thing that I'm fully taken care of." Ryomen wiped his brow. "Dude, you're not serious right now." Ryu looked over at Ryomen. "What do you mean?" Ryomen cocked his brow, "Oh, I don't know. The fact that you almost died." Ruka stated. "Eh, I think I was far from it." Ryomen shrugged, "If we don't include that you were only shot in the chest instead of anywhere fatal." Misa argued. "But I wasn't, so nothing to worry about." Ryomen smiled. Mao hugged Ryomen tightly, "Please...don't do anything to die." Mao looked up at Ryomen, her crimson eye fully opened and filled with tears. "I...I promise." Ryomen softened his expression.

"Mom and dad should be back in twenty minutes." Misa sighed. "Good, I need to create a bank account." Ryomen slightly pushed Mao off him, stretching, "That would be necessary for your mangas." Ruka sat down. "Do you have any identification on you?" Ryu asked. "Nope, I don't have any on me." Ryomen sat on the floor, "Then it's time to get you some kid." Jinichi walked inside. "When did you get here, dad?" Mao looked over at them. "Just now," Yae answered.

"Mr. Ryomen's okay!" Yugi and Akira hugged Ryomen's legs. Just how old are they? Maybe eight? Ryomen ruffled the twins' hair. "Come on, the faster we get your ID and bank account set up. The faster you can get rest." Jinichi turned around, "Got it." Ryomen followed Jinichi. Ooh, a 1963 Mazda Familia. That can not fit eight people. Ryomen got inside the car. "So, you got a birth certificate? Or parents around here?" Jinichi started up the car. "Nope. As far as I know, I have no recorded proof of identity." Ryomen said. For the love of god do not bring up the lie I told grandma. There's no way to explain the sudden lack of a grandmother. Ryomen looked out the window.

If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

"Well, we're in a tough situation, huh? I might be able to bend everything around the ID agency with some of my co-workers. Though it'll require a blood sample." Jinichi looked over at Ryomen. "Sounds like a rough solution, but I won't tell anyone about it." Ryomen chuckled. "Yeah, otherwise a bunch of people would look for the same special treatment." Jinichi snickered. So, my grand uncle and my great-grandpa are some pretty cool people. Makes me wish I could've grownup around them. Ryomen leaned back.

Once the two got to the Yonige-ya, Jinichi took Ryomen to the back. After making an ID and getting a blood sample, Jinichi took Ryomen to a bank. "Alright, let me do the work. Just give them your ID, birthdate, and name when they ask for it." Jinichi said, "Okay." Ryomen nodded. As the two went through the process of setting up Ryomen's bank account, they spent four hours going through paperwork before being able to leave. "It's the dead of night." Jinichi sighed, "I am definitely going to need a good night's rest after all of that." Ryomen yawned.
