Chapter Six: The Return

Ryomen got ten minutes away from Mao's home as the adrenaline left. Fuck, my back, my shoulder, my chest. I needed the adrenaline to last a bit longer, now the pain is there. Ryomen grabbed his chest. When Ryomen got to the house, he saw five motorcycles in front of the house. Great...more people to fight. Reminds me of Halloween night when I was fifteen. Ryomen cracked his knuckles. Stepping inside the house, Ryomen saw five men in uniforms alongside Ryu in a matching uniform. Gang did say that I had to be a member of Black Emperors because I was with grandma. Ryomen walked further into the house.

"Yo, everything good?" Ryomen called out, "Ryomen! You're okay." Mao ran up to Ryomen, hugging him tightly. "Oi, dumbass. What do you think you're doing, antagonizing ten members of the Meiyu-kai?" "Calm down, Osamu. Mao said that he got attention from her." Ryu grabbed Osamu's shoulder. "Ryu, he could've died out there." "Daiki, I'm pretty sure he's close to it." "You're right, Riku." Daiki and Riku examined Ryomen's visible injuries. "Hey, Katsu. Get some bandages." "You remember where the tweezers are, Takeru?" Katsu asked.

"You boys just tend to our guest. Misa, help me deal with the bullet wound." Ruka walked off to the bathroom. "Got it, onee-san. Ryomen, sit down, please." Misa separated Mao from Ryomen. "Uh...where are Yugi, Akira, mr. Jinichi, and mrs. Yae?" Ryomen sat down. "The twins were really worried when Mao came here. So, mr. and mrs. Akuzawa took them to a park." Osamu sighed. "Y'know, you took down ten members of the Meiyu-kai by yourself. The Black Emperors could use someone as strong and durable as you." Riku said. "We have the bandages and ice packs ready. Is the bullet out yet?" Katsu and Takeru reentered the house. "Do you dumbasses see Ruka with tweezers?" Daiki asked.

"Alright, hold still. This could hurt." Ruka walked over to the couch, sitting beside Ryomen. "Trust me, a lot more is hurting currently than what the tweezers will do." Ryomen snickered. "If it weren't for you not being related, I could mistake you for Ryu's twin." Misa giggled, "I don't go out to tan, Misa." Ryu scoffed. "I'm pretty sure he's African-Japanese." Osamu pointed out. "Bingo, but those ten weren't all that bad. They couldn't jump for shit." Ryomen chuckled.

"What, were you just playing hopscotch with them til they pulled out a gun?" Riku cocked his brow, "No, jumping. Y'know, like multiple people against one." Ryomen clarified. "I heard it used as a term for robbing or ambushing. But not for that." Katsu stroked his chin. "Scratch that, I heard that you made some cool mangas. You got any I could read?" Takeru asked. "If you want to read the second volume before the first, I could have a reading party after I make them," Ryomen said. "Ryu, we need this man. I'll go talk with our division captain to see if she could get the commander to have him join us. Then we get both firepower and mangas." Daiki grinned.

I could recreate my phone and charger for everyone. But what would be the use without the internet and data? Actually, I could recreate that, too. Making my own wifi network wasn't hard when I was twelve. So something on a larger scale with fewer materials should be just fine. I'd just need to take my phone apart, collect the materials...first, I'll need to build a computer. Then recreate a modern search engine and coding software. Then I can get onto making a phone for everyone. Ryomen tapped his chin.

"Hey, what's this?" Mao picked up Ryomen's phone, "Oh, just my phone." Ryomen waved it off. Ryomen blinked slightly, his expression changing the moment he realized what had just said. "This is your phone?" Osamu pointed at the phone, "Y-yeah." Ryomen looked away from his phone. "Strong, makes mangas, and a tech genius. This is the first time I've seen a phone that wasn't on the wall. It can fit in your pocket!? What's this!?" Riku picked up Ryomen's charger. "My phone charger. It keeps my phone from dying. You plug it into the socket, then it charges the phone." Ryomen answered.

"Can you...make more of it?" Ruka asked, pulling out the bullet. "Yeah, I'd just need the materials to make certain things, and then I can just make a lot of them." Ryomen nodded. "How much do you think it would cost to sell one?" Misa asked, "Oh, 189,900 yen." Ryomen said. "It costs that much!?" Everyone looked at Ryomen in shock. "Well, yeah. Great specs, good storage, long battery life, good performance." Ryomen listed. Actually, it would cost 300% more since there are no cellphones in this time period. Maybe even more, since it would be the de facto frontrunner of the phone market. And the computer I want to make would be far smaller, far faster, and far more efficient. Yeah, let me just get to creating things from my time. Ryomen smirked.

"Here, your ice pack." Takeru gave Ryomen the ice pack as Katsu finished wrapping the bandages. "Ryu, I'm going to need a full list of materials needed for this project in a week or sooner. We'll see you all later. Thank you for having us." Osamu bowed, "Any time, vice captain." Ryu bowed as the five left.
