025 – More

  General POV

The night was a stir suddenly, as the researchers started to swarm around the new monster. Several of the researchers had taken to calling it Imperialis, a new elder dragon. They'd done so based on the aura of supremacy it constantly exuded. Imperialis had let the researchers know it was going to mutate, and heavily at that, and none of the researchers would issue this, even the knock-kneed form of I?a. Many of her colleagues wouldn't look at her, awkward expressions on their faces, but most, if not all, of the senior researchers didn't seem to care, and even asked about the new dragon's mating habits.

An awkward conversation about her potential pregnancy ter, even the Commander had gathered to bear witness to this event. A live evolution of an elder dragon.

Everyone was silent as Imperialis - Hanna - stood in an area the researchers set aside for her to stand.

After a moment, the dragon gasped. Then screamed, clutching at its throat as fell to the ground.

Everyone tensed at Hanna thrashing around and screaming g in pain before the pain slowly made way to moans of pleasure. Breathy exhales as her maw opened and a red light can be seen within her gullet. She rolled onto her side, a long, pink-scaled tail erupting from the small of her back in a shower of discarded flesh and blood.

She let off another moan, then a roar as pain wracked her again, a gout of fme three feet long escaping her mouth before the a noxious smog left her lips, which several veteran hunters recognized as poison gas.

Then something changed qualitatively about her wings! They had grown slimmer and more sleek, the muscles of her back changing to be stronger and more dense, telling stories of her new flight speed. This enriched quality spread to her scales, which grew thicker more lustrous, becoming a thing of value rather than merely protective.

After it was over, Hanna stood up, and a loud growl escaped her stomach, and she wordlessly charged into the air.

  She needed food, fast.
