Chapter 49

  The Letters

  Jackson:

  When Dad returns with Eric, Dad has a stack of papers in his arms and Eric has 3 envelopes in his hands. He is holding them like they are a valuable gem. Eric asked Dad if he would please give me the stacks of papers, then Eric gave Dad, Wayne and Sophie-Ann each an envelope. I asked Eric if he had read the papers. He said he tried but he couldn't understand them. The only thing he understood was their real ages and birthdays. I asked him if he would care if I shared these reports with everyone. He said he didn't care as long as I could explain it in a way he could understand. I told him I will do my best because he and his sisters deserve to know the truth.

  I read the reports and explained that this is sensitive content and that I will try to make things clear as possible.

  1st: This is data from experimental research.

  2nd. They are using men and women of different supernatural species to do these experiments.

  3rd. They are using them to produce what we would call test tube babies. They are stealing seman from males to fertilize stolen female eggs in a petri dish and once the embryos are visible they injected into an artificial uterus.

  4th. Many failed results have occurred.

  5th. The scientists performing these outrageous things think based on the results of Eric, Lexie and Wren that using True Mates to produce babies have the best survival rate.

  6th. These reports state that they found a way to inject different DNA into the embryos hoping the babies develop abilities they normally would never have if it wasn't for the unnatural DNA that is injected into them

  7th. They force shifts and get the DNA from the shifted side instead of the human side.

  Subject 1. Boy. Son of Wayne and Sophie-Ann Blackwell. Fully developed on December 10 2030. Injected with DNA from Male Ware Bear May 10th 2030 Results unknown until shifting age. Must keep close watch for abnormal behavior.

  Update: December 10th 2032. The test subject is 2 years of age. No sign of aggressive behavior or sickness.

  Update: December 10th 2034. The subject is 4 years of age Still no sign of illness or abnormal behavior. Is very close to his sister, subject 2.

  Update December 10th 2036. The subject is 6 years of age. Still no sign of illness or abnormal behavior. Very close to his sisters subjects 2 and 3. Update: December 5th 2038. Subject 1 male is 8 years of age. Still no sign of aggressive behavior or illness. Development is on schedule.

  Test subject 2. Female fully developed December 15th 2032. Parents Wayne and Sophie-Ann Blackwell. Injected with Femal Mermaid DNA. May 15th 2032. Seems to love water. No sign of illness or abnormalities.

  Update: December 15th 2034. Subject 2 is 2 years of age and is still fond of water. No illness or abnormalities in behavior. Close to her brother.

  Update: December 15th 2036 Subject 2 is a female 4 years of age. Still fond of water. No abnormal behavior. No sign of illness.

  Update: December 15th 2038. Subject 2 female. 6 years of age. No sign of aggressive behavior. No sign of illness. Growing more fond of water.

  Test subject 3. Female. Parents Wayne and Sophie-Ann Blackwell. Developed December 20th 2034. Injected with Female Dragon DNA May 20th 2034.

  Update: Subject 3 female. 2 years of age. No sign of aggressive behavior. No sign of illness. Subject 3 seems to love being outdoors.

  Update: Subject 3 female. 4 years of age. No sign of aggressive behavior. No sign of illness. Seems too long to be outdoors.

  Notes: All three subjects seem to be growing at a healthy rate. All three were injected with different DNA from a shifted species after one month of embryo growth. Will continue exams every two years.
