Chapter 13

  Two weeks later

  Jackson:

  Finally Lydia and Sam with the help of other spell casters from another Hybrid pack, the Red Moon pack have cast a smell repellent strong enough to fade Vlad's power bombs. We are waiting for Louis and Ann to finish their shift at the hospital to come over for dinner. The whole family will be here soon including my parents. I'm curious what information mom found and also to hear dads theory.

  The twins have been doing great and growing. Lou and Ann have been coming every day on their break to check on the twins. Dorian is in the nursery now with his dad Grayson. I have to admit I was skeptical about Gray at first, but he has proved himself. I am helping him with a plan to overthrow his heartless father and he is helping us train the preschoolers magic. He is a great teacher and a wonderful father and the perfect mate to my daughter.

  Dorian wanted to make sure Geneva had enough blood for her feedings and Grayson wanted to see if the babies had any spell caster blood in them.

  Dinner is almost ready and my parents are finally here. Lou and Ann walk in with them followed by Maurice. Nick is up in his studio working since I did agree to let him graduate early, he has transformed his game room into a library full of law books and computer coding and game development. His college major is law, his minor is making video games. All my children are geniuses. They know their strengths and utilizes them.

  Catalina is in the kitchen helping Dianna.

  The food is put on the table and it looks like it is a Thanksgiving and Christmas feast.

  Turkey, Ham, candied sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn casserole and pecan pie, banana pudding and a chocolate cake. Before we ear Grayson says he has some things he would like to say at the family meeting. We all tell him his input is appreciated.

  We say the blessing and eat. No one talks. After, the guys gather up and get the table and dishes washed. They want to get the clean up done quickly, because they want to hear what their Lolly and Pop Pop and now Grayson has to say about their siblings.

  Dianna:

  I'm nervous about the new developments with the twins I might hear. I'm sure we are all on edge about it. I have been up cooking since 4 this morning. When I'm nervous, I cook. Catalina, Grayson and Dori came around 7 this morning. Cat said Dori was worried that Aunt Geneva was low on blood. She was running low at the time. Grayson said he and Dorian will donate more and Cat said she would donate right after the turkey was done. I may not like having blood donors for my daughter but I am thankful for my family who doesn't mind donating to her.

  My best in laws/ parents are here at 7 pm sharp. The table is set and the only words spoken are from Gray, who says he would like to add some things to the family meeting. My sons quickly clear the table and wash the dishes.

  They are a bundle of nervousness too. The boys tend to clean when they are anticipating something either good or bad. During vacation times I never had to clean the house, the boys kept it spotless. When Cat is nervous, she cooks like me, leaving Gray and now Dorian to clean the mess up.

  After the dining room and kitchen are clean, we go to the living room. Each of us taking our favorite places to sit. I suggest drawing straws to see who starts, like we do on Halloween story time. My father in law Vlad said no need, he will start. Everyone Waits with baited breath as he begins.

  King Vlad:

  During my study of the twins, I studied them like a science experiment taking myself out of the equation as their Pop Pop.

  As I watched all the videos and meticulously looking at the photos with a magnifying glass. It was the last video, the birth. I slowed the speed down as slow I could going over Every frame. I do believe what was a transfer. A transfer of one of her hybrid parts. As you know all of hybrids are born with 2 or more parts of themselves. In Dianna and your case son, your children have four counter parts. Wolf, Vampire, Faerie, and Witch. Now we know That some of the counterparts are stronger than others, thar is why none of You children never needed blood. All of you have a stronger wolf, while your other part has different strengths. Maurice you are more Wolf and Witch, Lou you are more Wolf and Fae. Do you see where I'm going with this. Now in Baby Vlads cases, he has a much more stronger half to him. Which one it is we don't know but our baby princess gave a part of herself to him in order to save Little Stinky. Justina what did you find Dear?

  Queen Justina:

  I did find one ancient text that supports your theory. It happens in the two hundreds. A woman was giving birth to twins and one was in distress and as they grew the women knew one was nothing like her. A girl. She couldn't shift. She was like a pure Fae. She gave up her Wolf to save her brother in the womb. The woman had two wolves that could combine into one. One Wolf was gray, the other was black. Both were strong but when they combined, the Wolf was gray with a white eye on one side the other half was black with a bright blue eye.

  Grayson did your test show?

  Grayson:

  I think I can shed a little more light on this matter.

  I did not feel her Wolf, however I did feel her Vampire, Fae and Witch side. All sides are just as strong as the other. Baby Vlad has one other side and that is Witch. That part of him is weak. I couldn't tell Geneva what side will be stronger as they are the same strength but Dorian told me he is drawn more to his Little Aunt than he is to Baby Vlad. As you know, he loves them both but just feels like he should take care of Geneva more.

  Dorian is more Fae than Witch or Vampire but that can change as he grows, same with Geneva. She may require less blood in the future. We need to watch and listen to her needs as she gets older. Jackson you are Fae. You never had a taste for blood, am I correct?

  Jackson:

  You are right but I also have a wolf. I think I inherited it from someone one moms side. I'm less Vampire but still have the powers of one.

  Dianna:

  So you all are saying that there is a strong possibility that Geneva gave her wolf to save her brother and he may have two wives and Geneva will always need blood but the amount may be more or less as she grows. This is a lot to digest but as long as they are both healthy then I won't worry about the future.

  Maurice:

  What has been said tonight should go no further than us. We already know they are special and we all need to protect them because no one knows the danger they both could be in if word got out.

  Louis.:

  I agree with Monk on this. He has never been wrong with his sight.

  Ann:

  As a soon to be member of this wonderful family. I promise to keep my mouth shut and also to protect my baby Niece and Nephew.

  Catalina:

  Ann we couldn't ask for a more favorable Sister in Law. We love you and know you will fight to protect any of us.

  Nick:

  Wow! This a lot but I agree with Monk. We need to be vigilant when we are out with them. I trust our people but not their mouths.

  Queen Justina:

  I think it would be best if we move here permanently. That way Vlad and I can help as the babies grow and also see how they should be trained for when the time comes.

  King Vlad:

  Already done my love! I sent for everything we will need. I will personally bring the family library so nothing gets lost. Everything will be flying in tomorrow. I will fly back in the cargo plane and bring your favorite vehicle and the old grimoires and family tomes back myself.
