Society is a brutal, stratified hierarchy, with the corporate elite living in sterile, hyper-advanced enclaves, their lives extended by cutting-edge cybernetics and virtual realities, while the vast majority toil in hazardous factories, crowded arcologies, or the lawless sprawl known as the "Undercity."
