Vegis walked closer to the door, each step taking all the effort he could muster. His bones cracked, his joints creaked, and his burnt and tan skin split for every step he took. By the time he reached the doors, his feet were torn bare of skin and flesh leaving only his bones covered in blood. Vegis tried to push the doors but they wouldn’t budge. He tried for days to push it opened but it would not move. As time passed, the pressure grew and slowly tore the flesh off of his body. The only thing that skill had skin and flesh was his head and hands. Vegis felt weak and could barely move and decided to do one last thing before the pressure crushed him. He raised his right hand back and punched the door with all he had left. As soon as the fist touched the door, an explosion tore the doors open and released a wave of blinding green light.
The light was warm and Vegis felt something crawling up from his feet and slowly covering his bones. It was not flesh but wood and vines. It slowly enveloped him until it made a new body for him. As soon as his new body was formed, the lights slowly died down and revealed the open door way. The carpet continued to a balcony with two figures sitting down next to a table having some tea and talking to each other. Vegis slowly waddled his way to them because the wood that makes up most of his dream body wasn’t very flexible. Sometimes, he would try to step faster or further than the wood could do and cause the joints to break a little.
It hurt him but Vegis wants to figure out who these people were. When he got closer to them, he started to feel an unimaginable heat and impossible chill at once. He was freezing and burning at once. Eventually, the wood couldn’t withstand the barrage of temperature and slowly disintegrated as he got closer. When he finally reached the balcony, the wood failed him and Vegis collapsed into a pile of burning bones and frozen flesh. His head looked at the sky and he could see the ever burning sun and something he hasn’t seen in a long while. A bright moon that carried an impossible chill.
Vegis woke up in a cold sweat.
He could only partially remember the dream like it was through a thick fog but there was one thing that pierced through it like a ray of sunlight through a cloudy day. The balcony with the 2 entities and sun and moon above them. Vegis decided to take a walk to calm himself down. It was 3 A.M. and the only ones that were up were the night shifters who were tired. The moon was still high in the sky but Vegis did not want to be under its light. Under its light, he felt pricks on his skin like the light itself rejects his existence. Like he should not be here. Vegis headed to one of the areas with lots of trees.

He spent time walking around the trees trying to think of what they could be. The more he focused on that scene, the more details he could see. There was a plate of muffins next to an old tea pot that was not of human origins. The cups looked as though it was carved out of a single gem. The thing of heat was using a cup that was red as blood. A cup made of ruby. The cold thing was using a purple cup made of amethyst. There was a third chair with its back to the railing, it was empty with a pink and orange cup in front of it. Vegis stress over what could mean. Who were these beings and why was there an empty seat? Is there a third member to this group and if there is one, where are they? Several more questions popped into his head but it was interrupted by the glow of the dawn. The orange and pink sky filled him with a strange kind of comfort. A strength that he never felt before. Like taking a shower after a year of being covered in filth. He was being cleansed of something he could not describe other than impurities in his soul.

Vegis could feel his skin morphing, transforming into something stronger. The disguise failed and his true body was revealed. The fur traveled up his right arm to completely cover him and he started to turn blue. The temperature started to drop and a block of ice encased him. Inside, Vegis was curled up and glowing. Time passed and the sun started to rise above him and light focused on him. The blue shifted to orange and pink. The fur receded into small pockets around his head and limbs. When the transformation was done and melted all the ice, Vegis was on his hands and knees, radiating a comfortable breeze and light. Eventually, the light died and Vegis slowly returned to his normal appearance. The only thing that remained changed was his eye that glowed a light pinkish orange.
Vegis looked around and could see more. He could see both the physical world and nonphysical world. He could see the haze of the trees. No, not haze but lifeforce. He looked at the sun and saw something that overwhelmed him. He could see it, a small fragment of what was in his dream but it did not care for him. All it did was stare at where Mitra was. He could see two large clouds of color where they were. A blinding white and yellow being Mitra and a deep dark blue that seemed to swallow everything from Boreal. Chains seemed to shoot out from this direction and wrapped around Vegis. He could see more things that sprouted from him. Vines that connected him to the clones.
