When the liquid touched Vegis's tongue, it let out a sweet taste but oily feeling. The sparkles in it made small sour notes and turned the oil film on his tongue to a juice-like thing that was savory. Vegis could feel something being released from his body and his mind started to cloud. The life force that was released slowly raised above him but didn’t make a heart. It instead slowly spun into a circle until the space in the middle started to warp. Boreal stared at this and then looked at Mitra to see something similar but even more intense happening. Mitra had three rings and they seemed to suck in light with their rotation. It was still the afternoon and the rings floated outside the window and seemingly sucked in all the sunlight in a 10 meter radius of the room. They grabbed the light and reformed it into a pillar that went down the middle of all three rings.
Vegis’s ring started to distort as it started to flash orange and pink and the shape started to bend. The space in the middle that was warping started to crack until it fully broke and Boreal could see into the immaterial plane and feel all sorts of energies started to flood into the room. Most of it either went to the rings outside and absorbed by the pillar or floated around Boreal as it slowly started to create a green and blue fog around them. What little that remained was slowly absorbed by Vegis and passed through the connections between him and the clones. When the energy passed through the soul vines that connected them, it caused them to grow in size and strength until it finally hit the clones. The fragments of Vegis’s spirit that were in each of them started to grow and be tinted with the colors orange and pink.
They were in their storage pods since this wasn’t a work day and started to glow. Their skin went from the original light gray they had since the first transformation to an orange with the markings turning purplish pink. When the glow faded, their disguised return and they looked like they normally do. The only one that didn’t return was V4 who’s gem third eye became a kaleidoscope of colors instead of being clear like it originally was.
Back where Vegis was, the hole above him closed and the shape stopped spinning and hovered around his head before morphing into a crown and clamping onto his head. This caused him to writhe on the floor until it was done and a new marking was added to his forehead. The crown then faded and disappeared. The rings outside eventually came inside and floated behind her and the pillar slammed itself into Mitra’s back. It passed effortlessly through her skin and muscles and wrapped around her spine. It slowly spread throughout her nerves. It formed machines that laced her body and enhanced every neuron it touched. The light eventually faded and the changes were made permanent. The fog around Boreal shoved itself into their throat and wrapped around the neck. Knowledge flooded into Boreal and then the fog dissipated.

When this was done, the three of them could hear the voices of 2 people. Their voices sounded like a world of prayers and screams. One with endless passion and heat, and the other had a cold and predatory edge to it. They said to them that they have been blessed, and to accept their gifts. Vegis immediately remembered their names, Devsen and Huitzlios. The last thing the two gods told them was to not drink this for at least another 10 years. Vegis turned to Drake to ask for an answer but he was still on the drink’s high. Vegis was annoyed at this and gathered a small amount of mana into the shape of a hand and crushed the heart above him. This caused it to disintegrate and Drake slowly sober up. The first thing he saw when he was out of his inebriation was Boreal slightly bigger than usual and Mitra touching her back with an area of silver material following her spine.
“What the fuck happened when I was out?” was all Drake could say in this situation. “I don’t know man. I wanted you to check the surveillance to see what happened because all I really remember was the words they said.” is what Vegis said as he sat down to focus on releasing the clones and checking their conditions. Vegis could feel the connection's new strength and sense in better clarity than before when he entered the clones. A thing he didn’t expect was the new responsiveness of the clones’ mind that now formed proper thoughts and seemingly came close to the level of a teen. After Vegis was done, Drake just got into the security records and reviewed the video for the last few minutes. The cameras only caught 2 things. The pillar of light and the hole in reality above Vegis. The machines and magics couldn’t record any of the sounds that were made at that time and definitely couldn’t hear the voices of the gods.
When she was done inspecting her back, Mitra asked, “Could ya ask Doel if he knows why this happened?”.
