Somewhere along the Dimensional Block #1 Border

  Not long ago

  Kuro Vicslight lets out a roar as he slashes straight through dozens of corrupted creatures in a single swing of his blade. Slaughtering them with ease in the process.

  Meanwhile all of his soldiers fight against the corrupted creatures as well. But none as well as the General of the Hound’s military.

  Vicslight gets lost in the endless slaughter over the course of several hours. Not being snapped out of his berserk, bloodlust filled state even when he loses a limb and the limb regrows within an hour.

  It isn’t until he senses an immensely powerful energy coming from the sky that he finally snaps out of his berserk state and looks up.

  And he’s not the only one as everyone on the battlefield turns their attention to the energy source one after another. Where they find a person just floating high in the air.

  Not just any person though.

  “The Quantum Reaper…” Vicslight mutters in awe.

  Awe that only grows when a bright pillar of glitchy quantum energy shines down from the heavens to the ground where she’s at. Following which the reaper emerges from the pillar in her True Form.

  Then the Quantum Reaper begins to slaughter all of the corrupted creatures all across the border. Making bolts of quantum energy rain down from the sky. Bolts of lightning crash down from clouds of glitching purple energy floating in the sky. And even simple swings of her scythe that don’t even touch the corrupted creatures yet cut them in two anyways.

  Vicslight watches in awe as he sees the daughter of his king slaughter all the corrupted creatures at the border with ease.

  So much ease that it’s terrifying.

  He and all of his soldiers continue watching the Quantum Reaper float high in the sky while slaughtering the corrupted creatures like bugs. The very creatures he and his soldiers were only managing to hold back.

  And with very little time passing, the border soon grows empty of corrupted creatures.

  Then he and all of his soldiers watch the Quantum Reaper teleport away. Moving closer to the border before crossing it entirely and entering the corrupted universe outside of the Dimensional Blocks.

  All without ever so much as speaking a word or looking at Vicslight or his soldiers.

  After the Quantum Reaper leaves their sight, Vicslight turns his attention to the empty battlefield around him filled with nothing but ashes and his soldiers. Without a single corrupted creature in sight.

  I guess it’s my day off now.

  The universe outside of the Dimensional Blocks is just space with planets scattered around it. Which is how a universe should be instead of those Dimensional Blocks that the System and Zal created.

  Although the universe also happens to be filled with corrupted creatures for as far as the eye can see.

  I go ahead and begin wiping them all out while occasionally opening up rifts to the Quantum Realm and drawing on the quantum energy in it to continue wiping them out.

  But no matter how many of them I wipe out, their numbers don’t seem to decrease.

  More and more of them appear nonstop.

  Not that I’m complaining since they make for good EXP.

  Or rather, they make for EXP. Not necessarily good EXP, but EXP, nonetheless.

  I continue to annihilate the corrupted creatures while using the energy of the Quantum Realm to make sure I don’t run out of energy along the way. Only leveling up once every several planets that I clean up of corrupted creatures.

  So only once after every several billion corrupted creatures killed.

  Which goes to show just how little EXP these things are giving me.

  And that’s with me getting a boost in EXP from them being corrupted creatures.

  I let out a sigh at that thought as I continue my corrupted creature massacre. All the way until something rather surprising happens the moment I finish cleaning out an entire galaxy of corrupted creatures.

  A certain familiar yet incredibly annoying face appears stepping through a rift.

  I blink at the sight of the Quantum Cleaner. Both surprised to see him here and surprised to see him with a smile on his face.

  What’s he doing here? And why is he happy?

  I’m not used to seeing him happy after all those trial attempts where he was very upset and annoyed.

  The Cleaner is wearing a simple jacket and pants without any sort of armor on. And other than his happy expression, he looks rather laidback.

  After his appearance, I find Zal appearing through a rift as well with a frown on his face.

  “Don’t worry about me, Zal, I’m just here to do ma job,” the Cleaner says with a suspicious grin on his face. Making Zal grimace. No doubt at his use of my nickname for Zal.

  How does he even know my nickname for you? Or do other Quantum Beings use the same nickname?

  “I see you’ve been watching her trial attempts,” Zal states, answering my question in the process.

  Wait a second, the other Quantum Beings can watch their trials? That’s the first I’m hearing of it…

  I frown at Zal for not saying anything about it to me, but he ignores me and focuses solely on the Cleaner as said Cleaner speaks again. Putting both his hands in his pockets.

  “A certain helpful little girl just cleared out an entire galaxy of corrupted creatures, so it’s my job to clean this place of the corruption they’ve left behind,” the Cleaner says with that same playful smile on his face. All while completely ignoring Zal’s comment about his watching my trial attempts. “So don’t go banning me from getting near her like you did to the Vanguard.” His smile grows ever so slightly wider. “That was funny, by the by.”

  Wait, he did what?

  I turn to look at Zal at the Cleaner’s words, only to see him avoiding my gaze.

  Okay, whatever. It doesn’t really matter one way or another.

  I let out a sigh before deciding to ignore both of them as I move on to the next galaxy over, where I begin hunting more corrupted creatures.

  They can continue their little spat without me.
