Itsuki POV:
If I do look from the view of politics. Them hiring me here is a mistake. Considering that I come from a neighboring country. It has always been a close rival to Serenity but if that man is colliding with someone from a different side then the risk of leaking information might come in handy.
“Why him? Don’t you understand the danger?” Reigen opened his mouth to speak. Words of disdain pointed towards Karma Winters. Who didn’t even give him a proper glance.
“It was me who ordered this.” Nobu said to Reigen in a reassuring tone.
“Right!” Reigen Lawyet crossed his hands believing this is not true.
Nobu Ichigo only sighted.
“I asked him to do this on my behalf. That’s why it's on me.” Nobu told Reigen who seemed to roll his eyes.
“And he as usual just does what he wants and all is forgiven!” Reigen told his dissatisfaction out loud towards Karma.
My eyes landed on Karma who seemed to get up. Not caring of the fit Reigen was throwing towards him.
“I must leave now.” Karma Winters announced and started to walk right out.
“You promised to be here.” Nobu turned his head towards Karma.
“I am here and now I am leaving.” He shrugged off Nobu and walked towards the exit.
“Let him! It will be easier that way.” Reigen agreed for him to leave.
Nobu didn’t say anything else and let him leave, seeming rather unsatisfied.
“I will go as well.” Reigen announced as he slightly eyed me.
“You too?” Nobu let out a sigh.
“You were the one who wanted this.” Reigen said as if reminding him of something.
“You know we must do it. It's for the sake of us all!” Nobu’s voice spoke with conviction.
Reigen simply eyed him. Not saying anything else.
“So far there has been nothing…but I get it. That’s the whole point.” Reigen said. His voice lowered by the end of the sentence.

Ichigo’s the front. Winter's the background and Lawyet’s the guards. That’s how these three operated.
“I will still monitor this. Regardless of him.” Reigen said.
Nobu nodded. “Naturally.” Nobu gave him a relieved smile.
At that point Reigen left the room leaving me and Nobu Ichigo alone. Once he did leave I finally took my seat. Which was slightly further away but still in the middle of the large meeting table.
“I see there’s congratulations in order.” I smiled acknowledging that he has become someone worthy now. Succeeding to be a head of his family also head of this city.
“Thank you! You’re probably wondering why we called you.” Nobu Ichigo spoke and I only slightly moved in the chair.
“No, that’s quite easy to guess coming from you. You want to dispose of the man who escaped the city walls.” I shrugged. And then asked. “Do you think it is wise to collide with an enemy?” My voice was full with amused concern.
“Enemies that share an enemy can become friendly on occasion.” Nobu Ichigo flashed his white teeth at me with his natural born charismatic smile.
“When was your last sighting of him?” I asked. Trying to deduce how much information he had.
“He has a daughter and the file on her you already received.” Nobu replied.
I nodded slightly. “So basically you got nothing.” I said my smile seemed to irritate Nobu but he still put up his kind face.
“I don’t think he is in the country. If he is. He is guarded by someone with power to do so. Otherwise we would’ve found him ourselves.” Nobu looked convinced as he said this.
I smiled at his words.
Do I spill about the contract that man has with me or do I toy with this battle and see what they have planned?
“Do you think he sent her to spy on you?” I asked Nobu a question.
“Yes, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. She hasn’t contacted him once while moving here. All she has been doing is being a regular student. It’s almost like he sent her here just to study. Which is too creepily normal for a man like him.” Nobu explained his concerns and uneasiness to me as I silently pondered in my mind.
“Have you asked her directly?” I asked.
Nobu shook his head in a negative way.
“Why?” I was quite intrigued. It’s their city so why would they be that cautious?
“We are waiting for her to take the first move.” Nobu explained.
“How long has it been?” I asked.
“Slightly more than a year.” Nobu answered my question.
I gazed at Nobu Ichigo and let out a breath.
“To me this looks like your father didn’t want to bother fighting this battle and you know the reason for that. And now you’ve gained the power to do this!” I assessed the situation. “Are you that nervous from a single girl being here?” A smile appeared on my face.
Now I understood why Reigen was so bothered about it. Simply, nothing has happened as far as they are concerned. But the fact he didn’t know was making him uneasy. And that man’s timing. The same day Nobu Ichigo was appointed to his current position of number one, a job was raised to me from that same man they are searching for. Which to me only looks like he had anticipated this would happen but also it says this man is well aware what is happening inside the city. Someone else has contact with this man. Which is not his daughter. He doesn’t need to contact her if they have a messenger. If I can find out who this might help me over time.
Will I tell this information to Nobu? Of course not. I find that playing the long game in this situation would be more wise.
“And what exactly do you want me to do?” I asked the question.
Nobu pulled out a green envelope. I eyed the thing which was something rather familiar. Green envelopes they had for defectives.
