Celestia straightened, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear as the next pair stepped forward.
Hanzo moved with his usual calm—measured, composed. Shunsuke, on the other hand, approached like someone who had been voluntold to attend a ceremony he wasn’t entirely prepared for. His expression was a tangled mix of curiosity, dread, and mild sleep deprivation.
Everyone leaned forward.
A new round of revelations, began as Hanzo inserted two pairs of plates into the machine.

Another synchronized wave of frowns creased the room, like everyone had collectively bitten into a lemon.
“I have a serious question about one of their skills,” my brother said, raising a hand.
“Yes, thank you,” I said, leaning forward, my face folding into a frown of pure confusion as I pointed at the display crystal. “Why does your Hide and Stalk skill already have a level? For the others like Shizuku, that’s normal because of Kendo and ninja business.”
Hanzo blinked as Shizuku shot me a glare, then he shrugged with the expression of a man who had long accepted the weirdness of his existence.
“I don’t know. It was like that when I checked. I didn’t level anything.”
Well, at least he was honest. But, the girls all turned their heads toward him like synchronized owls.
“Suspicious,” Aika said, narrowing her eyes.
“You definitely tried to follow someone,” Aiko added, even more suspicious.
“I did no such thing!” Hanzo said, instantly offended, sitting up straighter. “I go home after school! I don’t follow anyone! The only time I go out is when Shun or Yuu drags me to the game house!”
Shunsuke nodded sagely. “Yeah, he’s a hermit. If he were stalking someone, we’d know. He complains when clouds move too fast.”
That did not help Hanzo’s case as the girls still looked at him with suspicion.
He sighed before grumbling, “I’m starting to think this machine really is broken.”
The king squinted at the display again.
“Lord Yuuto, why do you have the title [Suspicious of Women]?”
Yuuto froze, then his face turned a bit dark.
“I—uh—that’s personal, Your Majesty. Really personal. Sorry."
Celestia bowed her head. “Titles can be shaped by emotions and experiences. It is not shameful.”
The king paused… then nodded sympathetically. “Very well. We won’t pry any further.”
Yuuto visibly relaxed and murmured his thanks as Hanzo removed their plates. Shunsuke gave his friend a reassuring pat on the shoulder before taking one of the remaining plates from his hand.
With a steady breath, he walked over to the machine and carefully inserted both plates.

No absurdities, no embarrassing quirks, just straightforward skills, attributes, and titles. A collective sigh of relief swept through the room.

Then something caught my eye, and I couldn’t help but murmur, awestruck, “Wow… the name… that’s actually really cool.”
The king’s interest was piqued. “What do you mean, Lord Vi?”
“Just Vi is fine, Your Majesty,” I replied casually. “It’s just that the meaning of his name in their language is… well, really cool. His full name is Sora Igarashi. Literally, it means ‘Sky of Fifty Storms.’”

“Oh, that,” I nodded. “We don’t share the same country. My family and I were on vacation when we got summoned.”
For a brief moment, Celestia’s expression darkened, her cheer faltering. But just as quickly, it returned to its usual bright, cheerful demeanor, as if she had never hesitated.
Celestia clapped her hands lightly, the sound bright but just a little too sharp—as if trying to cut through the lingering heaviness she’d accidentally let slip.
“Well then!” she chirped. “Shall we continue? Next pair, please!”
The room shifted as attention moved on, everyone grateful for the smooth transition. The tension eased. Even the king straightened in his seat, expression returning to polite neutrality.

The king and Celestia once again murmured sounds of appreciation, particularly for Haruto, whose spread of rare skills earned an impressed nod from the king and a delighted “Oooh!” from Celestia.
Everything seemed perfectly normal.
Baa-san and I both leaned forward at the same time, squinting at Kazuki’s display. A single line caught our attention—one tiny detail that detonated inside our brains like a grenade.
We snapped our heads toward him instantly.
“You’re a student of that drunkard!?” I shouted.
“You’re a student of that bastard!?” Baa-san yelled at the exact same moment as she shot up to her feet.
Everyone else froze. The king blinked. Celestia blinked. Even the machine hummed in awkward sympathy. Kazuki stared at us like we’d just accused him of being a war criminal. “Uh, yeah?”
Baa-san pressed a hand against her forehead as though steadying herself. “Oh, dear god…”
I leaned forward, curios but also a bit concerned. “For how long?”
Kazuki shrugged, the picture of casual acceptance. “’bout three years. So, long enough.”
The smile he gave us was the tired, world-weary grin of a man who had seen too much and possibly regretted at least half of it. Then everyone glanced between us, confusion growing with every passing second.
Finally, Kazuki asked, “Okay… so what’s your deal? What’s your connection to my teacher?”
Baa-san folded her arms and turned away with all the grace of someone refusing to discuss wartime atrocities. “We know him,” she said flatly before sitting down.
She did not and positively, would not elaborate.
I quietly mirrored her posture. “Yeah. We know him.”
Kazuki narrowed his eyes, but began to scratch the back of his head. “That’s… not an answer.”
“That’s all you’re getting,” I said lightly nodding my head towards baa-san.
Kazuki opened his mouth to protest, then thought better of it. The pain in his eyes suggested he, too, understood that some things were better left unspoken. Or unremembered.
A moment of tense silence followed.
Then, mercifully, Celestia clapped her hands with forced cheer. “Alright! Moving on!”
The next pairs stepped forward, grateful for the distraction. This time it was the girl’s turn.

We had to stop for a moment when Akane’s status appeared on the display. Her title… well, it caught everyone’s attention immediately.
Akane herself looked nonchalant at first, shoulders relaxed, face passive, as if nothing could bother her. But the tips of her ears betrayed her, flushing a faint red.
That was until her best friends, Suzu and Karin, immediately began teasing her mercilessly.
“Wait, you never told us about this?” Suzu asked, leaning in with a smirk.
“Seriously, Akane! How have we been friends all this time and you kept this a secret?” Karin chimed in, eyes sparkling with mischief.
Akane squirmed, trying to brush it off. “I—I just… it’s complicated!”
But the more she protested, the more I listened, and a strange familiarity tugged at me.
Her voice.
I froze for a fraction of a second, the gears in my mind finally turning. Then it hit me. I stood abruptly, a grin spreading across my face.
“By the power of the Moon Ultra Soul!” I shouted. In an instant she froze.
The entire room paused. Even the king and Celestia, who were just about to comment on something else, turned toward me with raised eyebrows.
Celestia tilted her head, curious. “Lord Vi, vir-tuwall, idol? What does that mean? Does it have to do with your outburst?”
I waved my hand, as if giving a grand performance. “It means she’s an entertainer! A performer who captivates the hearts of many, unseen, secret, and oh so powerful in the realm of song, dance, and stagecraft.”
Akane’s face went from red to crimson, and within a second, she screamed and buried her face in her hands, utterly mortified.
“I knew I heard her voice from somewhere,” I said happily as I sat back down.
Shizuku and Reika, who had been quietly observing, turned towards me and said in unison, “You’re horrible.”
I just smiled. Calm, satisfied, and a little proud.
Mission accomplished.
Celestia and the king managed wry smiles, though Celestia’s curiosity lingered a bit. “Well, I must admit, that is fascinating. I never imagined such a title could exist in a hero. But if you think about it, heroes must captivate the hearts and minds of the masses.”
I shrugged, letting the chaos of Akane’s embarrassment speak for itself. Some things were just too delicious to pass up.
The next pairs, Aika Fujimoto and Airi Shimura had the mage master class, but weirdly enough, those three share the same attributes and stats, the only difference is that they didn’t have the enchant weapon skills. Instead, they have waterbolt and stonebolt skills.
The last three people’s statuses were pretty normal, in comparison.
