47. Victory through Dumbness

The battlefield was a symphony of chaos, with missiles streaking across the sky and energy blasts lighting up the ground. The air was thick with the smell of smoke and the deafening roar of explosions. I knelt beside Mizuno, badly injured and currently out of the fight, bringing her back with waves of Dumb Heal.

As I tended to Mizuno, Sassy and Misty sprang into action, using their skills to distract the attackers and keep them busy. Sassy's Playful Pounce sent her soaring through the air, her powerful legs kicking out at the enemy agents, while Misty's Thunderous Gallop created a sonic boom that sent shockwaves through the ground, disrupting their formations.

Misty reared up on her hind legs, her hooves kicking out with incredible force, sending several attackers flying backwards. Her Ground Shaker stomp created a shockwave that damaged and stunned enemies in a wide radius, summarily disrupting their advances.

Kneeling beside Mizuno, I placed my hands on her shoulders and activated Dumb Blessing, channeling my idiocy into her. A wave of stupid energy washed over Mizuno, and her eyes fluttered open, her gaze clearing as the effects of John Smart's brainwashing wore off. "I see now," she murmured, her voice weak but steady. "Those genius equations were just clever nonsense. Amy? What happened?"

I grinned, helping her to her feet. "Long story short, your tech was disabled by an EMP, you were brainwashed, then hit by a deflected Radiant Burst. But I've got just the thing to fix your tech."

Activating Stupid Shield, I created a barrier of pure stupidity around Mizuno, blocking the measures that had been preventing her technology from functioning. Her holographic displays flickered to life, casting an otherworldly glow over the battlefield.

"Thank you, Amy," Mizuno said, her voice regaining its usual confidence. "Let's end this."

As suicide drones bore down on our position, their engines whining ominously, Mizuno's hands danced through the air, hacking into their systems with breathtaking speed and precision. One by one, the drones exploded in mid-air, their detonations creating a spectacular display of fireworks that lit up the sky.

The world around us seemed to be surrounded by a ceiling of explosions, the drone blasts creating a symphony of light and sound that was almost mesmerizing. Through it all, Mizuno stood unfazed, her holographic displays showing the hacked drone feeds as she coordinated their self-destruct sequences.

John Smart, seeing his plans unravel, stepped forward, his expression a mix of frustration and fury. "You think you've won, don't you?" he shouted, his voice barely audible over the din of battle. "The Brightish geniuses had great plans for ruling the world! We were going to unite the smart and dumb alike under our banner, creating a utopia where intelligence reigned supreme!"

He pointed at me, his eyes burning with hatred. "But you had to meddle, didn't you? With your dumb antics and your ignorant ways, you've ruined everything! The geniuses will never forgive you for this!"

I shrugged, a smirk playing on my lips. "Sounds like a boring utopia to me. Besides, who needs geniuses when you have the power of dumbness?"

With a final burst of effort, Mizuno captured the control node coordinating Dr. Genius's spaceship and the drone attacks. The remaining attack technology, now under our control, was redirected towards MI6 headquarters in Vauxhall. The ground shook as the building was reduced to a crater, the explosion sending a mushroom cloud billowing into the sky.

Dr. Genius and John Smart, seeing their plans unravel, surrendered without further resistance. Their forces, demoralized and disorganized, laid down their weapons, the battlefield falling into an eerie silence.

I turned to Mizuno, a smile spreading across my face. "We did it," I said, my voice filled with relief and triumph. "The geniuses have been defeated."

Mizuno nodded, her eyes reflecting the smoldering ruins of the battlefield. "Yes, we have. But it's not over yet. We need to ensure that their influence is fully eradicated and that our education reform continues to thrive."

As we stood there, amidst the smoldering ruins of the battlefield, I knew that our journey was far from over. But with each victory, we grew stronger, more united, and more determined to shape a better future for generations to come.
