Tama
Saki walked over to me giggling, "You did great Anna, you too Tama! I told you that you could do this!"
I frowned and looked at her confused. "What?"
Saki just laughed and patted me on the shoulder. I wish she had patted me on the head. She said, "Let's go do a quest, then we have to meet your Aunt and start the trip back to Trissaile."
I froze and pulled away. "Tama doesn't want to be Queen!" I cried at Saki with hurt.
Saki smiled at me and said, "Don't worry Tama, I have been thinking about this a lot. You might have to become queen, but that doesn't mean you won't be Tama anymore. I promise."
I looked into her eyes, she looked deep into mine. Slowly, I reached out and took her hand. She smiled and we walked back towards the city as earth mages ran up and began reforming the arena. Tera ran up to us as we entered Drestor and took Tristy off of me to carry her for me.
David looked at Tera, Tera didn't make eye contact and David snorted. We walked down the street as Saki guided us through the crowd. They all seemed to be staring at me and Tera kept yelling for them to get back. I held Saki's hand tighter as we reached the guild hall and Tera opened the door for us.
Saki said, "Thank you Royal Guard Tera, your assistance has been helpful, please stay at this door and make sure none enter who are not adventurers."
Tera nodded solemnly and took position outside the door as we walked in. The moment I entered the guild, Nekogirl suddenly jumped at me, only to be grabbed by Saki's extended tail and gently tossed back into the crowd.
Saki's tail shrunk back down and we made our way over to Alissa, who was standing there with three more big men in golden armor.
Alissa smiled and said, "Are you ready Tama?"
I winced, but after a moment I looked to Saki, then looked back to Alissa and nodded. "Nya, Tama is ready."
Saki stepped forward and spoke. "As her royal highness's advisor, all questions are to be directed to me and if I deem them worthy, I shall speak to our Queen on the details."
Alissa and I looked puzzled and Saki deflated before saying, "I'll answer any questions you have for Tama, if she needs to answer I'll tell her."
I squeezed Saki's hand and whispered, "Thank you Saki."
Saki snorted and replied, "Don't thank me, just don't destroy our country."
Alissa nodded and said, "As a true royal advisor should!"
I smiled and Saki sighed and whispered under her breath, "I can't believe this is royalty, I expected... anything else."
I giggled at that, which caused Saki to giggle and Anna to shimmer on me. Talia stepped out of the back and her imposing frame stepped forward and grabbed me in a big hug and squeezed.
She held me tight as she spoke. "Tama, I am so proud of you. I know you will make a great Queen, despite your... unique way of seeing the world."
I wrapped my arms around Talia and whispered, "Tama wants to fight!"
Talia laughed heartily and said, "Maybe later little one, for now, you have a kingdom to save. Not through violence, but through what you do best. Leading others to happiness."
Saki nodded and said, "Tomorrow, we head out towards Trissaile, where Princess Tamaneko will be crowned Queen of the Trissailian kingdom. May she reign forever!"
In sync everyone else repeated, "May she reign forever!"
I looked at Saki and asked, "Why do they repeat you?"
She looked at me for a second before shock entered her face. "Seriously Tama?! It means long live the Queen, they are wishing for your good health and life."
My eyes widened and I said loudly, "May fries reign forever!"
Saki giggled and said, "Yes Tama, long live fries. Let's go get some rest." She gently guided me back out of the guild hall and Tera followed us down the road. The nice lady at the inn gave us our rooms for free! She kept bowing and stuff, but Saki handled it.

We shared a room, and Saki shifted into her fox form before climbing onto my chest. She curled into a ball and used her nine tails to cover me in a blanket. She then closed her eyes and I gently pet her as I slowly fell asleep. Thinking about what it all meant, and for the first time. What it meant to face my problems instead of running from them.
Jabrome
I finally recovered my form. It took weeks of slow regeneration. Whatever that Foxkin did to me was all encompassing. I had never seen such destructive power in my entire life. Both living and undead. I brought my skeletal hand to my face as I closed and opened it. Saki was her name, and that little cat girl would pay dearly for this. My army was no doubt destroyed by now. Those goblins returning to their forest. All that time and effort wasted, Sarah yet lived. Still, I was a Lich, time was irrelevant to me.
I turned and looked over the sea of undeath. The little creatures had tried to stop me, foolish. I raised my hand and the mindless creatures swarmed, cried into the night, called out for help and were quickly snuffed. Only to rise once again, a moan escaping their lips. Their eyes milky white as they joined the right side, the side of death. Soon, those little pests would pay dearly.
"Oh look, a self important prick with an attitude," a voice said behind me.
I twirled around to see a young man with a small sword at his hip. He wore only a tunic and a pair of slacks. I raised my hand and my undead... did not move. I turned to see them all standing, not moving.
"Ah, yeah, about that. See, I'm not a fan of being eaten. So I decided they should stay put for our little fight," the man said.
I turned back to him and raised my hand, summoning a shard of ice that I launched at him. But much like that witch Saki, the shard went through the man like he wasn't there. I began to feel a feeling I had not felt in a long time, even when that void of a creature somehow erased a major part of me. I instantly used my undeath to push the emotions away and fired more ice spears at the man. He casually walked up to me as they seemed to pass right through him.
"What are you!" I said with rage.
He looked shocked and said, "Oiy! I am so sorry! I forgot to introduce meself. My name is Rodrick Rojier, The king of the Rojier Kingdom and the ruler of those lovely people you just murdered."
I considered for a moment before laughing a dark laugh. "Ah, you are a traveler, you believe yourself immortal don't you? That I can't kill you?"
Rodrick laughed with me and I stopped. He laughed hard, even slapping his knee with his weird looking hat before putting it back on and sighing in contentment. "Aye, that be a good joke there. But no, I do not fear death from me being a traveler. I don't fear death because I am death."
As he spoke, Rodrick's eyes went black and the sound of thousands of bodies just falling over filled the valley. "And I am here to claim you little Lich." Rodrick's voice was now much deeper and far more terrifying.
Trevor tried to teleport away, but nothing happened and he looked into the deep black eyes of Rodrick's once blue orbs. "Aye, It was a good joke, shame it be your last."
I tried to move away, but I felt as though I was moving through molasses, my undeath no longer held the fear at bay and I tried to run. It was no use, He just stood there and yet I never got any further. Then he simply reached out and grabbed me. I felt intense pain and screamed in agony as black began to spread over my body. I cried in pain and tried to escape, but it was pointless. Finally the black reached my skull and the last thing I saw as everything went black was the darkness in Rodrick's eyes. The death in his smile.
A single man stood alone in the Trelloark forest clearing, he leaned back and laughed again and again. The trees around him died, the undead decayed and gone. Nothing left of a Lich named Trevor.
Rodrick
"Haha! Did you see that? I was like woosh and he was all 'nooo!'" I looked over to the trees and saw a pair of feline eyes staring back at me.
She stepped out and coalesced into a young Nekojin woman. She smiled and nodded politely before speaking. "Nya, that was amazing King Rodrick! Your power is certainly to be admired!" Her tail lashed gently behind her and despite her words she looked unimpressed.
I shrugged and asked, "How far out are we?" I looked around the forest as I gently dusted my hat off again before putting it on. She took the navigator out of her bag. I don't care what the inhabitants of this world called it, it was a navigator. A sort of mixture between a magical gps and a compass.
She frowned at it for a long moment and pointed in the direction we had been traveling. "Three days that way I believe." She looked so adorable when she frowned like that. Not my type however, and way too young. I was easily in my three-hundreds and she was only in her thirties. Practically a child really, though the way she held herself and her auburn hair did things to me I would never admit.
"Aye! Then we shall continue on eh?" I said cheerily as I pointed in the direction and started marching.
Her eyes pierced my back as she asked, "What about the survivors?"
I chuckled as I replied, "What survivors? Now hurry up, we need to get to Trissaile before we miss the royal invitation."
The cat girl frowned at that behind me. "Why does it matter anyways, you usually ignore invitations from the regent lady?" Her ears twitched and she looked unhappy. It was obvious she liked me and was jealous. Poor girl.
I turned to face her and said, "Because a new Queen is to be crowned, and I owe Neko's mother a favor."
She looked at me confused. "A favor?" she asked.
I nodded and smiled. "That's right, a favor."
With that I walked off into the forest, I didn't need to look back, I knew she was behind me. Soon, we would reach Trissaile, and soon I would meet the new Queen Fuyuki Tamaneko, second of her line.
