Chapter 99: A Date!

  Tama

We made our way down the street and reached a place I had been before. It was a place with lots of see-through stuff on the front. Saki had called it glass.

The buildings in Musy had them as well. It was super weak. David opened the glass door for me and I walked in. Saki was sitting at a table across from Lyran. They were animatedly talking to each other.

Misk spoke up. "Um, I am not ze best at fitting in, but I am pretty sure your friends are on a date?"

David nodded and said, "Most definitely. See the way Saki is holding her head on her hands and leaning in? They are clearly interested in each other!"

I looked at the two of them right as the Nekojin girl grabbed my hand and said, "We can't just let them have all the fun, can we?" She turned to one of those ladies in a skirt and said, "Table for two, please!"

The lady nodded and brought us, much to the Nekojin girl's irritation based on her frown, to a table for four. The four of us all sat down and I listened as Saki said, "And then she befriended him! She said he was a kind uncle!"

To which Lyran replied, "Of course she would!"

Saki nodded earnestly and her tail wrapped around her, her cheeks were slightly red. So were Lyran's.

"What would you like to eat, miss?" the lady asked me.

I turned to her and said excitedly, "Tama wants fries!!!"

The lady nodded knowingly and asked, "And for the rest of you?"

Misk shrugged and said, "I shall take some fries as well!"

The Nekojin girl said, "I have my dessert right here." She winked at me weirdly.

David looked at the menu and said, "Can you give me a moment to decide?"

The lady nodded and wrote something down on her paper thing before leaving. I turned to yell to Saki, but was stopped by David who said, "Tama, you don't yell inside of a restaurant, and it's rude to interrupt someone during a date. Just ask for your bag back."

I considered what he said before blinking over to Saki. Saki looked over at me with a dreamy smile and handed me the bag. She stated simply, "Your friend is very thoughtful, Tama."

I nodded. "Nya! Lyran is nerdy!" Then blinked back over to my table.

I heard as Lyran said, "Was that Tama just now?"

Saki replied, "Yeah, she wanted her bag back, but don't worryI made sure we had enough to pay plus a tip."

Lyran nodded at her. "You really are good at planning things, Saki. I have never met someone like you before."

"You know Tama, I could really use a lesson right now. Maybe if I remove my dress, you can tell me where to bend over." I looked over to the Nekojin girl who was looking at me weirdly, she was playing with the straps on her dress.

"Nya! Tama wants to finish her date first, then we can fight with our clothes off!" I said angrily. She blushed at that and nodded.

The lady came back with fries and I began to eat happily. I had missed friesall the goblins in Musy had was stupid moving eggs and weird green stuff.

"What iz ze secret of this plan? Tama, you iz very strong wis words, yet ze girls, they love you!" Misk said seriously to me.

I frowned at him in confusion, but the Nekojin girl answered him. "You wouldn't understand. Tama just has an air about her that makes us all want to serve her beauty! As a B rank adventurer, I am not even worthy."

I didn't understand her, so I gave my own answer. "Nya! Tama is a Ninja! Ninjas protect everyone and save them. Tama is of course loved by all! She saves people!"

Misk's eyes widened and he suddenly stood. "I zee now! You must have skill and confidence!" He pulled his sword and pointed into the air. "I Misk the great swordsman and musketeer shall of course do zis!" He then turned and ran out of the building yelling, "For justice!"

I shrugged and kept eating my fries.

"By the way, not that it matters to you Tama, but my name is Nekapola." The Nekojin girl said as she ran her fingers through her black hair and blinked at me a lot.

I looked at her with a mouthful of fries. Sensei said it was rude to talk with my mouth full.

  Stolen novel; please report.

David spoke up. "Ah, I have decided. I would like a steak, well done please?" he said to the skirt lady. She wrote it down and left again.

Suddenly Nekopara or something used her hand to swipe the table and knocked all the stuff on the table onto the floor. I of course grabbed my fries before she reached them. She then threw herself onto the table after pulling her dress off and said, "Take me, Tama!"

I looked at her for a long second, before turning and seeing what Saki was doing. Saki sighed, stood, and walked over to our table. She walked past me to the Nekogirl and said, "She wasn't trying to date you.

She thought you wanted actual training. Attempting to seduce Tama is like attempting to seduce an actual cat. Please go away so I can go back to my date!"

"You just don't understand! She said we would have sex!" Nekogirl said angrily at Saki.

Saki snorted and said, "Let me guess, she said naked fights, didn't she?"

Nekogirl paused and suddenly looked uncomfortable as she responded, "Maybe..."

Nekogirl slowly stood from the table and pulled her dress back on. She looked around at the people in the restaurant and her cheeks went slightly red. She smiled at me and said, "Sorry, I was a bit... hasty."

Saki rolled her eyes as Nekogirl blinked at me a bunch and blew me a kiss? Then she left, stating, "I love you, Tama! I'll be back to serve you!"

Saki sighed and shook her head. Lyran had come over and was holding back laughter. "Classic Tama," he said as he pushed his glasses up his nose.

"Tama doesn't understand, she wants to be Tama's apprentice!" I said in shock. "Why did she leave? We were going to train!"

Saki snorted and said, "She wasn't interested in training, Tama. She wanted to see you naked."

I looked at her and snorted. "Saki! Don't be silly. She asked to fight Tama!"

Saki rolled her eyes at me and smiled before turning to David. "I see you finally decided to take Tama on an actual date. Did it go as well as you expected?"

David, his mouth full of steak, looked at Saki confused. I ate some more fries and giggled. "It was great, Saki, see!" I showed my now two plates of fries. One I had borrowed from Misk's when he left.

David looked even more puzzled and said, "I don't think that's what she meant, Tama."

I considered his words and what Saki said then answered, "Nya! Saki just wants fries too!"

Saki did that facepalm thing and Lyran giggled. "Tama, I actually have something for you. I was going to give it to Saki to give to you. But since you're here!"

He reached into a bag that looked like a pocket and pulled out a small rock with something carved into it. He handed it to me and said, "That's a return rune.

Whenever you get lost, it creates a circular area around you and all items and living beings are returned to a marked location. That rune is set here in Drestor."

I looked at the rock for a long moment and pushed my water onto it. Instead of my water coming out, the carving on the rock lit up and a circle appeared around me encircling Saki, Lyran, the skirt lady, David, and me.

The skirt lady stepped out of the circle right as everyone around me started to vanish one by one in blue light. Then suddenly everything was dark for a moment.

A few seconds passed and I was standing in the middle of Drestor on a large stand with the same carving in it. Saki, Lyran, and David were all with me. Saki grabbed the rock from my hand and said, "I will keep an eye on this."

She put it in my bag and took my hand. The four of us walked back to the restaurant where my fries were. Which is when I saw Tera looking at where I used to be and yelling at the lady in the skirt.

Saki was talking to Lyran. "Why would you give her a rune of teleportation! You should have known she would activate it!"

Lyran looked ashamed of himself and weakly responded, "I was hoping she would just throw it in her bag like the floating rune."

Saki sighed and said, "To be fair, it's Tama, you can't assume anything." Despite her words, Saki smiled at me and giggled.

Lyran also smiled at me and said, "Yeah, fair."

I giggled at both of themI wasn't that bad! Tama was Tama, and I was just unique. Like everyone else! "Nya! Tama is just Tama!" I said happily.

Saki and Lyran laughed hard at that, which just caused me to become confused. What was funny about that?

We reached the restaurant and David put the table we had brought with us back down as Saki put the chairs she had put in my bag back in their spots.

Tera had stopped yelling at the skirt lady, who looked scared, and ran over to me. The moment she was in range, I punched her into a wall.

"Nya! Do not bully people, Tera!" I yelled at her from the rubble of the wall.

Saki did the facepalm thing again and pulled the coin things from my bag. She handed a handful of them to the skirt lady, who began to cry and fall to her knees.

Saki said, "I am so sorry for my friend. I swear she doesn't mean it. She really does love your fries though. She believes they are the best!"

"Nya! More fries!" I said excitedly as I looked around for where the remaining fries went.

"You ate them on the way back, Tama," David said with amusement. "Which reminds me, you promised me a battle after the undead." David's smile widened and a gleam entered his eye. "I have been training, Tama, and I have a new weapon I need to test."

I turned to him, my eyes shimmering with glee and my tail wagging. "Nya, Tama can't waitlet's go!"

I turned to leave when I felt Saki grab my arm. I turned to face her as she glared at me. She shoved a broom in my hand and said, "Clean up your mess, NOW." Her fox ears twitched and I swear I saw fae fire in her eyes.

I instantly grabbed the broom and started sweeping. Tera quickly joined me. It took us centuries to clean the restaurant. Tera said it was only an hour, but Tama thinks time is purposely trying to trick her!
