Episode 8 – The Awakening of Fire

  Millennial Volcano Saga

  From space, the planet Tiron looked calm.

  A lonely world surrounded by smaller neighboring planets, drifting peacefully in the void… as if nothing in the universe could ever disturb it.

  But far below, in a chain of ancient mountains, a volcano slept.

  A volcano older than the oldest civilizations.

  And on that day… it woke up.

  Two boys climbed the forbidden mountain, laughing as the wind howled around them.

  “Are you sure about this?” the first asked, hesitating. “They said nobody is allowed to come here.”

  The second boy smiled confidently.

  “Superstition. You’re scared of an old rock?”

  They kept climbing.

  Neither noticed the ground beneath their feet beginning to crack.

  Thin red gas escaped from the fissures, rising silently into the air.

  Then—

  A slip.

  “WAIT—!!”

  His scream echoed across the mountain as he fell into the incandescent abyss below.

  The other boy froze.

  For a moment, the world became silent.

  Then came the sound.

  A deep, monstrous rumble.

  The mountain trembled.

  The sky turned red.

  Columns of fire erupted violently into the heavens as the Millennial Volcano awakened.

  The surviving boy ran toward the village, stumbling and falling across the dirt road until he collapsed before the elders, gasping for breath.

  “I—I didn’t mean to! My friend… he fell… he fell into the volcano!”

  Panic spread instantly.

  People shouted.

  “You broke the sacred law!” an elder cried.

  “It was forbidden to climb that mountain!”

  A woman covered her mouth in fear.

  “Now we will all pay for it…”

  The villagers surrounded the boy. He curled into himself, trembling, tears running down his face.

  Above them, ash began falling like black snow.

  Inside Organization Alpha, an agent burst into the command room.

  “Director Lee! I was on protection duty for Queen Keiron when we received the report. The Millennial Volcano of Tiron has awakened! If it erupts fully, the entire planet will be destroyed… and five neighboring planets as well!”

  Lee slowly stood up.

  His expression hardened.

  “Prepare a field mission. We leave immediately.”

  Leon looked upward calmly.

  “If God sent us, then He Himself will be our strength.”

  Lara began issuing commands.

  “Mobilize one hundred agents for evacuation.”

  Liu exhaled quietly.

  “I have a bad feeling… this may be one of our hardest missions.”

  The ship descended through crimson clouds.

  The sky above Tiron was darkened by ash and lightning.

  The ramp opened.

  One hundred agents marched out in formation, their presence silencing the terrified villagers.

  Lee stepped forward.

  “No one needs to fear. We came to help. Not a single life will be left behind.”

  The boy from earlier fell to his knees in front of them.

  “It was my fault… I killed my friend… I brought destruction to everyone.”

  Leon approached slowly and placed a hand on his shoulder.

  “No, kid. All of us make mistakes.”

  He looked toward the burning mountain.

  “But the Creator can turn even the worst mistake into salvation.”

  In the distance, the volcano roared again, spewing rivers of fire into the sky.

  And as the flames rose…

  A new trial for the Organization had begun.

  The volcano had awakened.

  And the fire that could destroy worlds…
