Black Angel – Season 2 Episode 1 – The King of Giants

  Recap

In previous events, after Lee became the General Director of Organization Alpha, the reaction was far from positive.

Out of 5,000 agents, only 100 remained loyal to him.

The rest transferred to Organization Beta, now under Dario’s command.

Lee now carries leadership… but also isolation.

  Arrival on Giga2

The void of space trembled as Leon’s transport ship pierced the dense atmosphere of the planet Giga2.

Dark storm clouds churned violently. The hull creaked under pressure.

Red lights blinked across the control panel.

“Gravity levels extremely high! Stabilizers are reaching their limit!” Lara shouted while gripping the console.

Leon stared out the front window, calm but focused.

  “Hold it together…”

The ship shook violently as gravitational currents struck like waves in an invisible ocean.

Then a bright opening appeared through the clouds.

Below them stretched colossal forests — trees taller than mountains, rocks the size of cities.

They landed on a wide flat stone plateau.

The ramp lowered slowly, releasing heavy, dense air into the cabin.

Waiting outside stood a tall man with bronze skin and tribal features, holding an ornate spear.

If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

“Welcome,” he said in a deep voice.

“Where is Lee? Did he not come?”

  Liu stepped forward.

“He couldn’t. He has responsibilities in the Organization. But whatever this is… we can handle it.”

  The man nodded slowly.

“This world was once the home of giants. They were hunted and taken to fight on the Arena Planet. Few remain… and now the Giant King himself sells his own people to mercenaries.”

  Leon’s eyes widened slightly.

  “We understand,” Leon replied.

“But we will capture him… not kill him.”

The man raised his hands solemnly.

“May the Forest God protect you.”

  Leon silently prayed:

Lord… use me so I won’t fail the mission You entrusted to me… a mission greater than the Organization’s.

  Contact with Lee

Back inside the ship, Liu opened a communication channel.

  Lee appeared in hologram form.

“The Giant King is powerful,” Liu said. “I don’t think we can handle this alone. You should come.”

Lee looked directly toward the screen.

  “Is Leon there?”

  “I’m here,” Leon answered.

  Lee stared at him.

“You think I train cowards? Solve it.”

  The transmission cut.

  Lara frowned.

  “He’s rude…”

  Leon smiled slightly.

“He’s right. I won’t fail my first mission.”

  The Giant Appears

  The ground began to shake.

Heavy footsteps echoed across the forest.

Trees bent as a ten-meter giant emerged from the woods — gray skin, crude armor, burning eyes.

Lara raised a golden translucent barrier.

  The giant kicked.

  CRACK.

  The shield fractured instantly.

  Leon’s eyes glowed yellow.

“Professor, take Lara away. Leave this to me.”

He leapt forward and punched the giant’s face.

The impact split the earth and blasted wind through the forest.

  The giant roared:

“Leave my planet! I will not give you my head!”

A wave of dark energy erupted from his body, destroying nearby trees.

Black wings of energy formed behind Leon.

  Inside Leon’s Mind

Kairós’ yellow eyes appeared in darkness.

“I won’t let you die… use my power.”

  Leon stared back.

“Who said this power is yours? It comes from my Father and Creator. You only corrupted it. Now… it belongs to me.”

  Kairós roared.

Leon returned to reality, lightning covering his hands.

He launched forward and struck the giant’s stomach with a thunderous blow, sending the massive body crashing through trees into a colossal rock formation.

  Interrupted Ending

Liu summoned chains from the ground, binding the giant’s arms and legs.

One chain sharpened like a blade, aimed at the giant’s neck.

The giant closed his eyes, accepting death.

“Leon, don’t look,” Liu said. “I’ll handle this.”

  He launched the blade.

A gust of wind shot across the battlefield.

  Leon deflected it.

  “Why?” Liu shouted.

  Leon stood silent.
