The arena fell quiet, anticipation growing with every passing moment.
Zalgo fidgeted, the silence getting to her. "Damn, why do they need to make us wait so long?”
Then, abruptly, the grinding stopped as the gate finished opening to reveal the first fighter.
A tall, raven-skinned, muscular yet slim woman of amethyst eyes and braided hair stepped onto the arena. She wore a thin blue coat underneath a white and gold open vest. Her tight white pants ironically did very little to hide her thunder thighs which looked like absolute units due to her build. The bottoms of her gold-toned white knee-high boots clicked against the stone floor, stopping once she reached the middle of the arena.
The girls' eyes were wide open in shock and awe, taking in her impressive figure.
Zalgo seemed stunned, her gaze fixed on the female fighter. "Whoa she's... she's huge.”
Alice couldn’t help but stare. "And she looks... insanely strong.”
Nika kept her eyes locked on the female fighter, her admiration evident. "Because she is. You girls are looking at the one and only Invincible Woman.”
The girls’ jaws nearly hit the floor.
Rachel managed to find her voice, her tone filled with disbelief. "You’re joking, right? The Invincible Woman, the undefeated fighter?”
Nika shook her head, a wide grin on her face. "Nope, that’s her alright. The undefeated, undefeated champion in this coliseum. Not a single person has ever bested her in combat, and trust me, plenty have tried.”
Zalgo’s eyes were still impossibly wide, her voice barely above a whisper. “Oh my god.”
It was clear that the three were in awe now, seeing the Invincible Woman in person more than surpassing their expectations.
Nika chuckled at the girls’ reactions, enjoying their shock.
"Told you guys she's no joke. The Invincible Woman here has got quite the reputation around Valoria.”
Alice’s voice was barely audible. “No kidding.”
Nika smirked, seeing the girls practically starstruck.
“Yeah, she’s an absolute star. The entire city knows the Invincible Woman, and everyone seems to want a shot at her. But, as you will find out, no one’s ever succeeded.”
"Ciao, everyone!" The Invincible Woman addressed the crowd, her voice strong and confident. "I’m here once again to prove that my title isn’t just for show!”
The crowd cheered, clearly excited to see her in action.
The Invincible Woman smirked at the reaction, her confidence glowing. "And, of course, to give the audience a show they’ll never forget!”
Nika leaned in towards the girls, keeping her voice low.
“And trust me, if there’s one thing she knows how to do, it’s put on a show. She’s as much an entertainer as she is a badass. You’re all in for a sight.”
The girls nodded in agreement, their excitement and nervousness reaching new heights.
Zalgo managed a shaky smile. “We can see that.”
The Invincible Woman continued, her eyes scanning the crowd. “But enough talking, ladies and gentlemen! Let’s get this show on the road, shall we?”
The crowd cheered, more than ready for the action to start.
Rachel couldn’t help but feel nervous. "Here it goes... this is already intense, and it’s just the start.”
This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author's work.
Nika leaned back in her seat, an amused smile on her face. "This is nothing, girls. You’re gonna see so much more. The tournament’s just getting started.”
Just then, Marco the Magnificent’s voice echoed through the arena.
"And now, for the first fight of the evening, we have…The Iron Mountain…the undefeated champion…La Donna Invincibile, Miranda!"
The crowd cheered intensely, the hype reaching a fever pitch.
The Invincible Woman - Miranda - smiled broadly, the support of the crowd fueling her adrenaline.
Nika smiled in satisfaction. "And there’s your introduction. Now it’s time to see her do what she does best.”
Miranda stepped back into her starting position near the edge of the arena, her eyes filled with determination.
The girls watched in anticipation, waiting for the next part.
Marco’s voice boomed over the speakers once more.
"And her opponent will be…”
The arena went quiet as everyone waited for the final name to be announced.
Nika leaned forward, her eyes locked on the arena floor. She knew who Miranda's opponent was, and she was eager to see how this match would turn out.
The tension in the air was palpable as everyone waited for the announcement.
Marco's voice finally cut through the silence, announcing the fighter: "The Dragon of the Deep: Mazu!”
The crowd cheered but there was less passion, less hype when compared to announcing Miranda.
Nika smirked, her voice carrying just enough for the girls to hear. “Not as well-received, but don’t let that fool you. Mazu’s still a dangerous opponent.”
The girls nodded, their focus still focused on the arena.
Zalgo seemed skeptical. “Yeah, but Miranda sounds like she’s a total monster herself.”
Nika smirked, her confidence unwavering. "Miranda’s a force to be reckoned with, no doubt. But you can’t underestimate Mazu, even for a second. He’s got some serious skills. He's one of the top ten fighters in the Coliseum for a reason.”
Alice seemed to be studying Miranda closely. “But Miranda just looks so... powerful. I mean, look at those thighs.”
Nika chuckled, her grin widening. "Ah, you’ve noticed Miranda’s infamous thunder thighs, have you?”
Rachel joined in the observation. "How can anyone not notice them? They're colossal.”
Nika nodded, clearly amused by the girls’ reaction. "You’re not wrong. Miranda’s legs are incredibly strong. She could snap someone in half with one kick.”
The girls shared a mixed expression of awe and shock.
Zalgo, still in awe, managed to find her voice. "Damn, that’s insane.”
Nika chuckled again, enjoying their reactions. "Yep, the Invincible Woman is not just for show. She’s got the muscle and the skill to back up her reputation, and those thighs of hers?”
Rachel shook her head, still in awe. “And I thought yours were thick...”
Nika chuckled once more, her grin even wider. "Ha, even I can only dream of having thighs of steel like hers. Miranda’s physique is the result of years of rigorous training and a natural inclination for strength. Plus, she has a…particular workout to assist in, er, sculpting those legs.”
Alice’s curiosity was piqued. "A special workout, you say? What’s that about?”
Nika smirked, clearly enjoying their curiosity. "Well, let’s just say that not everyone’s workouts include carrying refrigerators on their back and climbing mountains while lugging a small town on their shoulders.”
The girls' eyes widened in disbelief.
Rachel tried to process the information. "Did you just say…carrying refrigerators…?”
Nika couldn’t help but chuckle. "Yep, you heard right. Miranda’s workout routine includes carrying refrigerators. It’s all part of her regime to maintain her monstrous strength.”
Alice seemed even more dumbfounded by this. "She carries refrigerators? Like, as part of her workout routine?”
Nika nodded, enjoying their disbelief. "Yep. And it’s not just a fridge or two. Miranda has been known to carry multiple fridges, weighing thousands of pounds in total, while running up hills and mountains, fighting against hordes of fire-breathing crocodiles at the same time. It's insanity, but it's the kind of insane that works for her.”
The girls’ jaws were practically on the floor.
Zalgo tried to comprehend the insanity. "Fire-breathing crocodiles... while balancing fridges... and scaling mountains. That sounds... ridiculous.”
Nika chuckled yet again, her grin unwavering. "Ridiculous, sure. But it’s also insanely impressive. Miranda’s workouts are stuff out of a comic book, but they’re real and they work. And now, you are about to see that effort in action as Mazu aims to take her spot as the Coliseum's champion.”
Just as the girls were still processing Miranda's intense workout routine, Marco's voice boomed once more through the arena.
"Prepare yourselves, ladies and gentlemen! The first match of the tournament is about to begin!"
As the crowd cheered, the girls shifted their attention back to the arena, still somewhat in disbelief.
Nika leaned back in her seat, her eyes fixed on the arena.
"Here it goes. Mazu and Miranda are about to start. Let's see how this unfolds.”
The girls braced themselves, their excitement and anxiousness growing.
Zalgo seemed to be holding her breath. "This is it. The real deal. No more warming up, this is the actual match.”
Nika smirked, her tone playful. "You girls are going to see some seriously powerful techniques now. This is where the true Valorian fighting spirit comes out.”
As the girls focused on the arena floor, Marco’s voice amplified once more.
"Let the first match begin!"
The girls' nerves were heightened even more, watching the fighters.
Miranda kept her eyes locked on Mazu. Nika could see a slight shift in her expression, now more focused and serious.
"It’s starting,” Nika observed, a note of excitement in her voice.
