Chapter 33

  Chapter 33

Amos shot up on his bed on the Skidbladnir. Reva was gone, and from the looks of it, Sha're was never really there.

"It was a dream," Amos sighed in relief, "At least I don't have to explain myself to Dr. Jackson when I see him."

Morning had finally come and Amos got up to do his morning routine and head down to get some breakfast in the ship's mess. Upon arrival in the Mess hall he saw Reva and Sha're speaking to each other laughing hysterically at whatever had caught their humor's attention.

Wait, was this deja vu? Or was he still in yet another dream?

Amos printed his breakfast, a vegetarian omelet with pancakes -- something different this time -- and sat beside Sha're and Reva as he had done in his dream. As soon as he sat down, Share looked over at Amos, smiled and then gently got up and walked away.

"I had the craziest dream last night," Amos told Reva.

Reva, who was busy eating a plate of steak and eggs, nodded her head as she ate her food, "I know, you did baby, I see all your dreams".

A sense of panic rushed over Amos. Deja vu? "No, Not again!" he thought.

"Reva, please tell me I'm awake... and please tell me you didn't tell Sha're what I was dreaming last night."

Reva finished chewing her steak, put down her knife and fork, and said, "Yes, my love you are awake; and, no I didn't tell Sha're that you dreamed about us having sex last night."

Amos was relieved. He was in fact awake and didn't sleep with Sha're. Still he was confused by the entire situation and why Reva was able to see his dreams.

"Reva, how are you able to see my dreams?" Amos asked. "Is this another power of the Ancients?"

"Our telepathy, baby. The human brain is hyperactive while we are dreaming and our telepathic powers allow us to share thoughts and memories even while we are asleep."

Amos had finally understood what had happened last night. Telepathy makes dream sharing possible. As his mind developed, he wondered what other abilities he would discover on his journey.

As Amos and Reva finished their meal, Amos continued to question Reva on the contents of last night's dream. "Reva, those badges, that world, those other girls, do you know anything about them?

"Oh, you mean Freya. I'm guessing she is like me. It appears loving you is also her reason for being," said Reva.

"What about the red head, that wasn't Sha're was it?" Amos was still concerned if he and Sha're were destined to be together.

"Logically, it's quite simple," Reva responded. "It appears as if you have the ability to see the future in your dreams. The red head woman couldn't have possibly been Sha're because Sha're didn't have a Goa'uld symbiote inside of her. That woman did." Amos stopped in his tracks. He didn't even notice. In his dream the red head woman had a deep echoing voice that vibrated every time she spoke. The Goa'uld voice had been a staple for System Lords and although they no longer existed in his time, tales of their demonic voice could still be heard throughout the Milky Way galaxy.

"Maybe she wasn't a Goa'uld then; maybe she was a Tok'ra," said Amos as he and Reva made their way to the bridge. The Tok'ra also used "the voice" and Amos was not about to sleep with a Goa'uld. Still there were so many more mysteries yet to be solved. Not only could he and Reva share dreams but it appears he could use his dreams to glimpse the future. Freya, the red haired doppleganger of Sha're, the red planet, even those nice badges he saw them wear in his dream were all mysteries still waiting to be solved.

"Reva, I want you to get started on those badges." Amos ordered. "We're going to need those badges."

"Yes, my love. As always, fulfilling your wishes is my reason for being."
