Through their expressions of passion, the two are able to find an escape, a way to digest the thick clots of isolation, proclivity, and abuse, even though they never acquainted each other prior to the project''''s officiation. Initially, Haise, who narrates the story through his unique perspective, requests to work individually on the assignment, after approaching the coordinating teacher of Soreiwaki Highschool, Mr, Kadokawa, before receiving words of empowering contradiction to the idea. Mazure''''s ministrations across the keys instantaneously enraptured Haise, causing him to very nearly experience an entire silence within his mind. Nothing hurt him, nothing demanded anything of him. For the moments that Mazure played, for the seconds of stillness that consumed the world as he had done so, Haise had never experienced such an absence of words. He was a poet, one assigned to a dual amalgamation, and, within that inconceivable span of moments, he was at a loss for words at the sight, the sounds his counterpart for the project produced. Haise could have cried, the tears swaying effortlessly along the rims of his eyes, but he didn''''t, instead basking wholeheartedly in the presence of the arcane latter. After that day, and their first introductions had been fulfilled, the two, similar yet differentiated in beautiful harmonies, aligned their inspirations, searching and finding relief in each other''''s talent, mind, and reciprocation of everlasting loneliness. Despite the varieties of conflict, entangled with several promises of success, that threatened to exempt the two from their forgery of a foundation, Haise and Mazure managed to emerge in spite of them, intertwining their innovations and ideals into a route that, lasting for a time unknown to them, would rectify their endurances and mold their skills into reality.
