Mari was sent flying away outside the arena. The water encapsulating her entire body has burst on contact with Lukia’s attack.

Eissen swaps places with the bullet he just shot, and he catches Mari in his arms in the air.
“OUCH! OUCH!”
Eissen and Mari land on the grassland, with his back being the one kissing the ground. His back slides off the ground a bit and eventually stops.
“MARI-CHAN!!”
Eissen immediately places Mari next to her on the ground. He quickly checks up on her.
“You okay?”
“Awawawwawawwawawa. . .”
Mari is trembling and shaking a little bit. She’s still trying to recover from her phobia of horseshoe crabs.
“Soooooo. . . manyyy. . . leeeeeegggsssss. . .”
“M-Mari-chan. . .”
Eissen looks downwards and sees that her clothes on her belly have a hole, revealing her belly button. The area above the belly button was bruised red.
“You took that girl’s deadly attack, and the most damage you received is from your phobia?? As expected of the Judge of Greed! You’re amazing, Mari-chan!” Eissen smiles.
“Leeeeeeeegggggggssss. . .”
“Errrr, are you going to be okay? You’re in the middle of fighting the 7th Strongest Believer in the world, and you’re trembling over some ancient crabs.”

Mari tries to get up, slowly and surely, while shaking and trembling all the time. When she stands up, her legs are still shaking.

“Is this some type of horrible joke? A terrorist who took these many people hostage, who’s so strong that only someone at my level can even contest against, has a phobia of horseshoe crabs?”

Lukia raises her hand to the side and creates a giant horseshoe crab 5 meters tall and 3 meters wide. She points her open palm forward, and the giant horseshoe crab crawls fast towards Mari, moving at 70km/hour.
“M-MARI-CHAN!!”
Eissen summoned his gun in his hand and was ready to shoot to swap places, but Mari suddenly jumped forward, ready to face her fear.

Mari punches the giant horseshoe crab right on its head, and it explodes immediately. It splatters everywhere onto the arena and even the grass. The momentum of her jump brings her forward towards Lukia. She summons her giant scythe and swings it down at her.
*GRAAAHHHKK*
Lukia easily dodges out of the way, and Mari hits the floor. She engulfs both of her feet, and she slides out of the way and reaches the edge of the arena.
“What a sloppy attack! Also, what happened to your phobia? Was that a fake out?”
“HAH!! OF COURSE!! WHY WOULD I BE AFRAID OF SOME SILLY ANIMAL-THINGY??” said Mari with her legs still shaking and trembling.
“. . . . Alright, I am going to hurt you!”
Lukia creates an abundance of water, and it flows towards her hands and legs.
“(She is a lot stronger than I thought. That last attack on her belly only made it red, that’s nuts! Gotta come up with something better.)”
The water shapes into two pairs of Katar on her hands and feet. She also grows the same draconic pair of wings she has always used since the start of the fight.
Lukia enters her battle stance; meanwhile, Mari’s fear of phobias has begun to end. Her whole body has stabilized, and her stuttering has stopped.
*INHALES EXHALES*
After taking a very deep breath, she has finally calmed down. She activates Vein Armor across her entire body, and she also enters her battle stance, wielding her scythe. After an intense stare down, they both finally charge forward.
*SLASH*
*ZZZRRRSSSSHHH*
Mari’s scythes clash with Lukia’s right Katar. The blade of Lukia’s Katar is outlined by a very thin, flowing water moving at 200km/hour, constantly. It exerts enough energy to actually go toe to toe with the strength of Mari’s Vein Armor.
Mari swings her scythe at Lukia’s neck.
*CLANK*
Lukia uppercuts the flat side of Mari’s scythe, deflecting it upwards. Lukia swings her left Katar at Mari’s right waist.
*BAM*
Mari bashes the Katar backhandedly with her right arm. She immediately swung that same hand at Lukia’s belly. Lukia moves to the left, dodging the punch completely. She swings her right Katar downwards at Mari’s neck. Mari unsummons her scythe and resummons it in her right hand, and swings it upwards against Lukia’s Katar. Lukia’s right Katar was deflected, and she immediately swung her right leg at Mari’s neck again, from below this time. Mari catches and stops her leg on the shin with her right foot. Lukia immediately follows up with another kick with her left leg at Mari’s head, but she swings it sideways this time. Mari unsummons her giant scythe and catches Lukia’s left leg by the back of her ankle.
“RRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”
*BWWOOOOSSSSHHH*
Mari spins herself, grabbing Lukia on both of her legs, and throws her away outside the arena. Lukia immediately stops and recovers herself in mid-air with her draconic wings, and immediately flies back towards Mari at a really high speed.
Lukia reaches Mari instantly, and she swings her right Katar at her neck.
*BAM*
Mari does a backflip and lands with both of her hands. She swings her right leg, kicking Lukia’s hand on the forearm, deflecting it upwards. Lukia immediately spins herself to swing her deflected right hand at Mari’s neck yet again. Mari recovers from her back flip, and immediately leans her entire body backwards really fast and dodges the attack.
*BAM*
“URGH!”
She swung her right leg upwards once again and kicked Lukia on her back, and she was sent flying upwards into the sky. She quickly recovered in the sky and immediately dove down again, pointing both of the Katars on her feet at Mari. She also spins herself to add more momentum and mass to her own fall.
Mari summons her giant scythe, and she takes a stance to swing. She patiently waits as Lukia gets closer and closer to her with her attack. When Lukia’s spinning Katar attack almost grazes Mari’s forehead, she immediately swings her scythe really fast at Lukia’s torso.

Lukia notices this and flaps her wings, and she moves away and dodges Mari’s swings. Lukia lands and stops spinning; her entire attacking plan has been foiled. Mari immediately charges at Lukia as soon as she lands, and she sends a green fire slash at her from a distance.
“Tch! That annoying attack again! But my current Katars can deflect that quite easily!”
Lukia prepares herself to swing her left Katar at the green fire slash, but suddenly, Mari has already appeared behind her, ready to swing her scythe. She exerts her physical body to speed up faster than the speed of her own projectile attack.
“(WHAT?)”
Mari swings her scythe sideways at Lukia’s torso.

Suddenly, a giant water tornado emerges from under Lukia, and it lifts her upwards, avoiding both attacks successfully.

Mari splits the entire tornado in two with a vertical swing from her giant scythe, and it quickly disperses and disappears. She also dismisses her green fire slash. Lukia quickly falls towards Mari yet again. Mari jumps upwards to attack her mid-fall. She already prepares her scythe, and its blade is engulfed by green fire.

Lukia smirks at Mari even though she is completely wide open. Mari reaches Lukia, and she swings her scythe once again at her torso.
*ZRRASSSHH*

Mari grazes Lukia’s right shoulder with her scythe, but Mari is suddenly bitten by a giant shark head made of water, rising from below at really high speed, on both of her legs. Lukia created the attack seconds before Mari’s scythe reached her. The bite made Mari’s swing miss her torso completely as it landed on her shoulder.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA!! THIS SMALL WOUND IS A CHEAP PRICE FOR A SOLID HIT!!”
“URRRGGHHH!!!”
The teeth of the giant shark head were reinforced by the same outline of flowing water, but it’s moving at 200km/hour constantly, on each tooth. The giant shark head swings itself sideways and throws Mari away towards the water wall at the audience’s seats. The water wall grows a giant hand, and it catches Mari and traps her underwater.
Both of Mari’s legs were punctured quite deeply in a circle around the area near the shins.
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”
“GO LUKIA-CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!”
“SHE REALLY GAVE THAT TERRORIST A REAL BEATING!!”

The audience cheered at Mari’s condition, but Lukia was unhappy.

Mari swings her giant scythe vertically in a circle and cuts the giant human hand off the water wall. Both she and the giant water hand fall to the grass below.

Lukia creates a large amount of water to the point it creates a flood in the stadium that submerges Mari and Eissen up to their waist level, while it only submerges Lukia up to her thigh level since she’s standing on the arena.
“MARI-CHAN!! YOU OKAY?”
Eissen is approaching Mari, but Mari immediately raises her arm at Eissen, signalling her well-being.
“Ei-chan! I am fine! I was being careless because I was so stressed about the fact that I still needed some stamina to fight that wretched woman later! But do not worry, from now on—"
Mari stands up firmly and activates her Vein Armor on her entire body. The air around her changed, and everyone felt something sinister coming from her.
“---I’M GOING TO BEAT HER TO A PULP!!”
The flood quickly disappears as all of the water flows behind Lukia, and the water shapes itself into a giant sea serpent. The giant sea serpent’s body is 50 meters in length and 7 meters in diameter. It opens its jaw wide open, reaching 14 meters in length.
“AQUA BASILISK!!”
Lukia moves both of her hands forward in a crossing pattern, and the giant sea serpent launches itself forward. The giant sea serpent moves at 125km/hour with its jaw wide open at Mari. It reached her within seconds, and it was ready to bite her head off.
*SPLAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH*
The giant sea serpent explodes across its entire body length. The splashing water creates a massive rain on the entire arena and the grassland for about 15 seconds. After the ‘fake’ rain stops, Mari appears firmly standing without a single wound.
“I AM NOT AFRAID IN THE SLIGHTEST!!” said Lukia with an intense glare at Mari.
Mari slowly walks forward towards the arena, while Lukia also walks forward towards Mari.
*THUD THUD THUD THUD*
*THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP*
Mari’s footsteps have more power in them simply because of her Vein Armor. When they’re still halfway across each other, they suddenly run forward, closing their distance quickly.
Mari clenches her right arm, while Lukia still has her Katar made of water ready in her hands and feet.

When they meet in the middle, they swing their right hand against each other, and this time, Mari easily destroys Lukia’s water Katar with her fist.
“(WHAT?)”
She proceeds to grab Lukia’s arm with the same hand immediately and pulls Lukia to herself.

“HHRRRGGGHHH!!”
Mari lands a clean punch on Lukia’s right cheek. She was launched away, but Mari is still holding on to her left arm. She pulls her back in and punches her for the second time, but on her belly this time.

“(HEAVY!! SO FREAKING HEAVY!!!)”
The impact launches her away, but again, Mari is still holding her arm, and she pulls her back in for the third time. This time, Lukia swings her leg to pierce Mari on her neck with her Katar.

Her Katar breaks apart and splashes onto the floor.
“(WHAT? HER VEIN ARMOR IS A LOT TOUGHER NOW?)”

Mari lands another punch on her right waist this time, and the impact sends her flying, but she stays in place as Mari still holds her arm.
“HHRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!”
Mari lifts Lukia high above her head, turns around, and slams her down against the floor below.

The impact cracks and destroys the entire arena into pieces and plants her deep into the ground underneath. She also coughed up blood when her back hit the arena floor.

All of a sudden, Mari dodges out of the way, but something still grazes her.
“URGH!!”
She jumped away and did multiple back flips before landing safely on the ground away from the destroyed arena. She checks her right forearm, and it’s bleeding. The wound was shallow, however.
“What was that?”
Mari was confused about what had just attacked her. She sensed it coming, but she was still grazed by it.
“From the direction, it was coming at me from the water wall. But no one in the audience can launch an attack at that speed. What was----!!!”
Mari stops talking mid-sentence as she finally notices that something is swimming on the waterwall, all around the stadium.
“A swordfish?”
*BRRRSSHHH*
The swordfish increases its swimming speed significantly, and the moment its speed reaches 250km/hour, it suddenly jumps out of the water wall, flying towards Mari.
Mari summons her giant scythe, and she slices the incoming swordfish made of water in half, vertically.
“So, it was you, huh? How clever! When did you even create that fish?”
“OHOK!! OHOK!! OHOK!!!”
Lukia is still coughing up blood before she finally comes out of the ground and stands up limply. Blood is slowly flowing out of both sides of her mouth.

“When you. . . destroyed that. . . giant serpent. . .”
“You launched that swordfish when I was still in the motion of slamming you down, huh?”
“Precisely. . .”
“Still have more tricks?”
“A lot actually. . .”
Lukia lifts both of her hands to the side, open. She creates water in large amounts and immediately shapes it into two giant water serpents, but their heads are not like a snake's. They looked more like the bottom part of a water tornado, and she makes them sharp and thin, and she rotates the water across both of their lengths at 1000km/hour.
“ULTRASONIC JET TORNADOES!!”
Lukia sends her two tornadoes at Mari, moving at 100km/hour. Mari prepares her scythe, and its blade catches green fire. She points her scythe forward and diagonally downwards and shoots her green fire at the ground.
*FWOOOOOMMM*
A gigantic wall of green fire was erected at the place where the green fire landed on the ground, and its height reached the height of the green fire dome above.

The two giant water tornadoes hit the green fire wall, and they immediately break apart and disperse back into water, splashing onto the ground. The green firewall was completely unscathed.
Mari discards the green fire wall and charges at Lukia. Lukia puts her index and middle fingers together, she swings them sideways, and it sends a water crescent slash at Mari. Mari simply punches the crescent water.

Mari breaks the crescent water, but her fist was grazed and bled. Lukia sends a dozen of the same water crescent attacks at her. This time, she jumps and actively avoids them instead of destroying them. Turns out, she has created a thin outline of flowing water constantly moving at 2000km/h across the entire crescent shape.
“What’s wrong? Why so afraid of these waters now, Terrorist-san?”

Lukia sends out another dozen water crescent attacks at Mari.

Mari swings her fist vertically upwards and strikes the water crescent on its flat side from below, and it bursts and splashes everywhere.

Mari has successfully dealt with all of the water crescents. She came up with a way to counter them within seconds and has now reached Lukia. She swings her right leg high towards Lukia’s head. Lukia ducks downwards and she spins herself, covering her right foot with the same water as her water crescent attacks, and sweeps Mari’s leg. Mari jumps up and spins herself, and swings her left leg backwards and downwards at Lukia’s head.
*BAAAAM*
Mari hits the ground and creates a crack in a large radius. Lukia engulfed both of her feet and slid backwards to completely dodge the kick. She slides forward right after, thrusting her right straightened palm after covering it with water at Mari. When Mari lands on the ground, she immediately does a backflip and swings her right leg upwards.
*BAAAM*
She kicked Lukia’s arm from below and deflected it upwards. Lukia immediately does the same thing and thrusts her left, straightened palm at Mari’s belly.
*GRABS*
Mari grabs her by the wrist and pulls her in towards her, and she swings her left elbow towards Lukia’s cheek.

Suddenly, Lukia erected a giant water tornado from underneath, and it swallowed them both. The giant tornado lifted Mari upwards, high towards the ceiling of the green fire dome.
“HHRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!”
She clenches her right fist hard, causing her Vein armor to glow brightly, and green electricity sparks around it. She punches the giant tornado downwards, and it is pushed to the ground in its entirety, purely from the force of her punch, and splattered everywhere on the ground on impact.

After the giant water tornado disappeared, Mari was surprised that she didn’t find Lukia anywhere.

She falls freely to the ground and lands safely with her Vein Armor body. She looks to the right and the left.
“Where on earth is she?”

All of a sudden, without any delay or warning, the entire arena and grassland were filled with water.

The water filled up, fully reaching the roof of the stadium. The water wall protecting the audience has also been heightened fully upwards, so no water would spill their way.

Mari turns her head behind and sees that Eissen is already behind her. He wore breathing equipment and an oxygen tank on his back. Mari holds her chest in relief.
