My name is Runelt. I'm from a very wealthy family of the Redwingz. We're so rich and wealthy, from the moment of birth up until now, I have never known such a thing called struggle in life. Everything I have ever wanted has always been provided for me.
I live in a mansion so big; it takes 30 minutes to fully walk to every corner of the inside. The mansion has a lawn so large that we need to take a car to reach our front gate from where our mansion is.
In the land inside, there's a zoo, a public swimming pool, and an amusement park. At first, these were merely private properties, but my father had a plan to turn them into businesses. He built fences and gates to separate these 3 places from our home. He also built special roads and gates so that the public couldn't enter our land.
My father is Raymond Redwingz. He is the 88th descendant of the first Redwingz family. My father owns so many companies that I lost count of how many he actually has. Saying we are very astronomically rich is not even remotely close to our actual wealth. The Redwingz have always been the richest family in the world for generations.
There's a particular story that has been passed down for all generations since the first Redwingz. The first Redwingz also wasn't actually named Redwingz. Although his real name was lost to time, this story is the only thing about him that has persevered through so many generations.
Our forefather was a slave back then. He escaped from his household, and he was chased down by so many people. He ran to a cave and fell into a pit. His chasers all saw him fall and decided that it was the end for him. But the story doesn't end there.
The pit wasn't actually that tall, and he only sustained very minor injuries. As he walked and tried to find a way out, he found a gold mine instead. Seeing this, he stays in the cave for a while to come up with a plan, even after finding an exit from the cave. He went to a small town and gathered up folks in town and promised them gold if they helped him to go to war against the people who held him as a slave. The folks in town were rightfully sceptical about him and the gold. Simply, the risk would highly outweigh the benefit.
Our forefather plucked out his own left eye in front of the townsfolk as a way to convince them. He told them that he had nothing to lose. Just one eye compared to a future he has in his mind is nothing to him. Seeing his bold gesture, the townsfolk believed him and gathered and rounded up men to go to war.
Long story short, he won the war. He took over the household and shared his gold with all of the townsfolk. But he also has other plans. Before the townsfolk departed, he gathered them once more and presented an idea to them. He wants them to use the gold to open up a massive business so that the entire town can prosper instead. Some people were sceptical, but many of them saw how courageous he was when he led the war. The townsfolk agreed to the idea, and they opened their first business of horse farms, cow farms, chicken farms, and pig farms. Although not every townsfolk followed him, the many that chose to stay were happily welcomed and were more than enough.
His idea worked tremendously, and in mere 10 years' time, he became one of the richest men in the world. When he has a family, he teaches his kids all of his brilliant business plans and mindset. When his son matured, he immediately showed the same business prowess as his father. And so, this keeps happening over the course of many years and so many generations, until today, where I am.
My father can be said to be even better than anyone before him. There are about 10 of his entire companies that have reached global sales levels. His name is known throughout the entire world. It can be said that knowing our family and our father's name is about as common and normal as knowing what Faith power, and Believers are.
My mother is Ruby Redwingz. She's the most beautiful woman in my life. Thanks to her beautiful face, I was also born with such handsome face. I am an only child, as per the tradition of this family to avoid conflict within this bloodline. My mother was also the CEO of various companies that belonged to my mother. But she is also just as smart as my father, and she also opened up her own business and became the CEO as well for that company.
And then there's me. I am currently 8 years old. A year ago, Dad had already taught me about business and money management. He was the one to teach me personally, face to face, in one of the many rooms in my mansion. I was so impressed by his time management skills. He is unfathomably busy, yet he still has time for me to teach me about important stuff. Not only that, he also sets aside time once a week so that the three of us can spend time as a family.
My father is also always patient with me. He understands that the stuff that he taught me is still too early for me, and he never once raised his voice when I kept asking questions. My learning progress may be slow, but it never bothers my father. I am so happy to have a father like him. I love him so much.
My mother, on the other hand, is teaching me all kinds of other skills like cooking, sewing, washing the dishes and laundry, cleaning the mansion, etc, basically all types of basic necessities in life. This is all for the sake of being independent in the future. Thanks to her, I can already take care of myself at such a young age.

But outside of that fact, I was also given personal maids and butlers for my daily necessities because, as much as I can take care of myself, there are still some aspects where I needed them. All of the maids and butlers enjoy their work because my family has never done them wrong. Not to mention the generous amount of salary.
In terms of my education, I didn't go to a public school. My parents sent a teacher to my home instead, a private teacher. They didn't hire just one, but multiple different teachers for each and as many subject there are.
I've been doing well in my studies as well. I don't remember ever struggling with a particular subject, but at the same time, there aren't any subjects that genuinely interested me as well. I find my father's lecture to be more appealing than my own education. I think when I'm old enough, I'm gonna tell my father that I wanna pursue business further down the line, so for now, I'm just gonna do my best at everything that comes my way. It doesn't hurt to gain extra knowledge after all.
One day, when I was 8 years old, my mother brought someone home. It was a girl, and she was 2 years younger than me, being 6 years old. My mother told me that she was gonna be adopted into our family and she was to become my stepsister. From the moment she entered our mansion, she kept crying to herself. I asked my mother about that, and she said that it's complicated. The gist of it was that she lost her entire family. After hearing my mother's response, I didn't pry any further.
"Hey, my name is Runelt! I am going to be your big brother! Nice to meet you!"
I offered the girl my hand as I introduced myself to her with proper manners.
". . .Uweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhh!!!"
The girl continues to cry. I didn't understand what to do. As I was confused, my mother suddenly gave me a task to show the girl our mansions in full. She just instantly gave me ideas of how to cheer her up.
"Hey, come with me! There is so much fun stuff in this mansion! I'll show you!"
I took her hand and showed her everything in our mansion. At first, the girl kept crying, but as I kept showing her our house, she began to listen to everything that I said. And then at some point, she stopped crying. At the end of it, she started smiling, and seeing her finally smile made me happy.
"Hey, hey! What's your name?"
". . .rena. . ."
"Rena-chan? That's a really cool name! So, from today, your name will be Rena Redwingz!! Welcome to the Redwingz family!!"
". . .thank you. . .what's your name?"
"My name is Runelt! Runelt Redwingz! I will be your big brother from now on! You can always count and rely on me!"
"Ru. . .nelt. . .onii. . .chan. . ."
"Yes, yes, correct! Oh, right, for now! I'll show you your room! Oh, and also, you'll get personal maids assigned to you!"
"Ma. . ids. . .?"
"Just think of them as helpers to help you out on a daily basis! But please never mistreat them! Because they are also an important member of this family, you got it?"
"okay. . .onii-chan. . ."
And so from then on, Rena became my stepsister.
When I was 9 years old and she was 7 years old, she told our parents that she wanted to marry me. My mother and I were dumbfounded at first. We carefully explained to them that her feelings towards me are not the same feelings my parents have towards each other. It's called siblings' love. Although we understood her circumstances, she lost all of her family members in such a short amount of time, so she was probably feeling very eager to seek love and attention.
Rena quickly understood that she simply loved me as well as my parents. She has already accepted all of us as her own family. That made us happy; we truly finally have a new member in the family.
But I also asked my dad about this breaking tradition of our family. He told us and assured us that this is a special case. We're helping an orphan and giving her a family. No matter what type of tradition is worth it, compared to her. It seems like my father has already loved her and acknowledged her as her own daughter as well. That made me happy. I am surrounded by lovely people. I am so grateful for this family.
As we grow up, we spend most of our time together. During breakfast, lunch, and dinner, during baths, during study time with father, during practice time with mother, during play time, during our private school, etc. But when I was 10 years old, I asked her not to join me during bath anymore. She objected and asked me why. I had trouble finding the right words to explain it to her. At the end of the day, I asked my mother to explain it to me. The next day, she just agreed to it and never questioned it again.
And then we entered our teenage phase. I was 16 years old and Rena was 14 years old. It was at this age that she developed her most annoying trait.
One day, she asked me to accompany her to the amusement park near our mansion. I agreed to it and I went with her. It was at night on a Saturday, and I know very well what this means. It's the time of the week when people go out to various places on a date with their lovers.
When we arrived, Rena saw so many couples with smiles on their faces. She asked me what those people are doing, and I told them about dating and relationships in general. She asked me what it means to date someone. I expected no less from her, to be honest. She grew up purely in our mansion, and she rarely goes out into the world, so she has zero knowledge about people and relationships, and social activities. Although I've learned such subjects through the internet, I have never been in a relationship with someone either.
We continued our stroll at the amusement park. She saw a couple feeding each other food by hand. She asked me to do that to her, and I explained to her that it's pointless to do that with your own siblings. She saw another couple holding hands and kissing each other's cheeks. She wanted to ask me to do that, and I just stared at her negatively. She saw yet another couple kiss each other on the lips. Before she even looked my way, I had already threatened her. And then it was at that moment that she suddenly shouted in front of everyone.
"I NEED A BOYFRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNDDD!!”
