"OVERDRIVE: RED!!"

  Evelyne's wings and antlers change color to red. She clenches her right fist, and a big red lightning sparks from it. She swings her punch, and it connects and hits Runelt on his stomach.

  "URGH!!"

  "MORE!!" shouts Evelyne.

  Evelyne pulls her fist back, and now she puts both of her open palms forward.

  "HELL'S CHAMBER!!"

  Evelyne shoots out red lightning sparks directly towards Runelt, and it hits and zaps his entire body.

  *ZZZZZZZZZZZZZSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTT*

  "URGH!!"

  "HAHAHAHAHA SCREAM FOR ME LIKE YOUR SISTER DID, JUDGE-SAN!!"

  But as Evelyne was laughing, Runelt suddenly moved to her front, and the gaze in his eyes showed a clear sign of anger. She had a quick realization that Runelt's painful grunts were just an act. Runelt clenches his right fist, and it transforms into his phoenix's golden talon. He punches Evelyne directly on her chest again, and he sends her flying diagonally down towards the city below.

  Evelyne vomits blood again on impact from Runelt's punch. Evelyne lands on the rooftop of a five-story building in the city. Her head and her right hand are dangling over the edge of the rooftop as she crashes towards the rooftop and slides a bit towards the edge.

  Evelyne was half awake, just from the impact of crashing onto the rooftop. Blood is flowing out of her nose and mouth.

  "(Pain. . . It's painful. . . What just happened? Why didn't he. . . flinch and scream when I. . . hit him with my. . . red lightning. . .)"

  *THUD*

  *GRAHK*

  Runelt lands violently on the floor of the rooftop and makes a crack in a radius of 4 meters in diameter.

  *pant pant*

  "(My chest. . . hurts so bad. . . it feels like. . . my ribcages are broken. . . it also feels hot. . . on the chest. . .this is bad. . .I'm blacking out. . .It seems like I'm not. . .or rather we are. . . not ready yet.)"

  Evelyne slowly closes her eyes, and the last thing she sees before losing her consciousness is Runelt, with his angry gaze, slowly walking towards her.

  Runelt crouches next to Evelyne's unconscious body. He places his fingers on her neck.

  All of a sudden, Runelt sits on his butt on the floor of the rooftop and relaxes his entire body.

  He lets out a long exhale, and it relaxes his body even further. Runelt puts his head down as he closes his eyes.

It is so hard to stop this girl without actually killing her at the same time. My duty is not to kill criminals, but to save them and direct them to You so they may truly be saved from their destructive behavior.)"

  Runelt stands up and picks up Evelyne's body.

  Runelt sees Evelyne's face up close.

  But all of a sudden, Runelt realizes this is not the time for jokes. He has no idea how long Rena's been bleeding. She might actually die from significant blood loss.

  Runelt punches the floor in frustration.

  And then all of a sudden, the pair of the first Judge came to his mind.

  Runelt immediately pulls out his phone from his pocket. He immediately tried to search Lily's number on his contact list.

  Inside a facility somewhere in the desert of Russia, there is an attack that is currently happening on the facility.

  "GO SAVE YOURSELVES, FOLKS!!! FORGET ABOUT THE PROJECT!!!"

  "RUUUUUUUUN!!!"

  Inside the security room, several security officers are monitoring the many CCTV screens that monitor every room and area inside the facility. Aside from the security, there are lab workers and their assistants inside the room. But the most prominent figure of the entire facility was also there. It was the head branch of the facility itself, Professor Clark.

  Professor Clark is 66 years old. He wears a long white lab coat with a blue pale shirt and long brown pants underneath. He wears glasses and he has short black hair. He's bald on the front of his head. He also has wrinkles everywhere on his body.

  "PROF!! We have visuals on the intruders!!"

  "Plurals? There are multiple?"

  The professor walks quickly towards the CCTV monitors.

  "Oh my. . . It's those two. The most infamous figure in the underworld right now."

  The professor points his finger towards one of the many CCTV monitors.

  "That is the ruthless torture machine, Nightmare, and next to him is the legendary cold-blooded assassin, the 4th Strongest Believer in the world, the Queen of Time."

  Everyone in the security room was suddenly hit with the realization of the situation. They all got scared just from hearing their names.

  "W-W-What are they doing here?"

  "Why are they here, Prof?"

  "What are they after, professor?"

  "And why are they together?"

  "I have no idea myself. But let's not waste this opportunity right now. Although famous, we still have no idea what exactly the Nightmare's Faith power is. All the evidence that led to him was just the horrible and gruesome corpses he left behind."

  "This might be our only opportunity to observe and get a clear look at what his Faith power is!"

  There are multiple explosions happening inside the facility that came from the malfunction of some electronic devices that were placed all around the facility.

  Currently, Light and Lily are invading a facility located in a desert somewhere in Russia. They invaded the facility so openly that they couldn't care less about being found out. They attacked and destroyed only the machinery inside the facility. They did not harm a single person who works in the facility.

  Light transforms his right hand. He points his palm towards a machine in the distance. He uses Rejection and sends a gravitational push towards the machinery. The machinery was hit by the incoming gravity projectile and immediately dented inward so heavily that it instantly exploded.

  *BOOM*

  Lily spawns her clock shield on her right arm. She swings her hand and throws her clock-shield towards a machine in the distance to her left. The clock shield cuts the machinery it resulting in a short circuit inside the machinery, and then it explodes after a short time.

  *BOOM*

  "KYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

  "EVERYBODY, RUUUUUUUUUUN!!!"

  Light and Lily scare so many workers inside the facility. They all run amok in all directions, and it causes even more chaos inside the facility on top of the repeatedly exploding machinery.

  "Lily, this is strange. I don't see a single child here. And now that I think about it, I also didn't see any children in that facility where we fought that fake god. I only ever see children from your memories. Do these facilities have multiple different goals for each branch?"

  "Now that I think about it, too, maybe it really is just like you said. I. . . never put that much thought towards the facility itself. Only what. . .that guy has done to. . ."

  Light recognizes Lily's depressed tone. He immediately walks towards her and hugs her tightly from the front.

  "FUEH!?"

  Lily was immediately startled when Light hugged her. She starts fidgeting and panicking out of embarrassment.

  "You don't have to remember it. I'm sorry if I brought up that painful memory."

  Lily is losing her composure.

  "Hueh? Eh? Um. . .Feh?"

  Light lets go of his hug to look at Lily's face.

  "Uh, what's wrong with you?"

  Lily's face was red, and she immediately looked away from Light.

  "N-Nothing! I-I-I-I-I-I JUST THOUGHT THAT IT'S SO HOT INSIDE THIS FACILITY!!"

  "Hm? Well, that's obvious. We were flying around under the bright sun before we came here."

  "A-A-A-A-ANYWAY!!! We should finish this quickly so we can go back to our Judgment, Light-kun!!"

  Lily rigidly turns around and marches strangely as if she's a winded-up toy that can walk.

  "Let's go Light-kun!!"

  "A-Alright. . ."

  "(What is up with her? Oh well, she's adorable like this, so who cares?)" said Light to himself as he stared at Lily in adoration and then followed her.

  Light and Lily are now on the 2nd floor inside the facility. The 2nd floor looks entirely different from the first floor. This floor had so many rooms filled with patients, and its design was more like that of a hospital. This confuses Light and Lily even more.

  "Uuh. . . are we sure we're at the right place, Light-kun?"

  "Well, the first floor looks legit, so. . . I honestly don't know what to say. . ."

  "Light-kun, let's go back to the first floor and find a way towards the basement. Maybe that's where the experiment is happening. Because it was like that too for me."

  "Alright!"

  Light and Lily went back down to the first floor. They searched the entire floor, and then they found the door that says security room.

  Light transforms his right foot and kicks the door open.

  *BAM*

  “AARRGGHH!!”

  The door was sent flying, it crashed into one of the security guards inside the room, and he instantly passed out.

  "THEY'RE HERE!!!!"

  "FIRE!!!"

  There were so many security guards inside the room, and they were all ready with their guns aimed towards the door. As soon as one of them commanded to fire, they all went guns blazing and bombarded Light and Lily with hundreds of bullets nonstop for the entire 60 seconds.

  *BANG BANG BANG BANG*

  *BANG BANG BANG BANG*

  *BANG BANG BANG BANG*

  And then the sound of someone's last clip of ammo falls to the floor and rings throughout the entire room. All of the soldiers were surprised because Light and Lily were standing still, and none of the bullets ever reached them.

  It turns out that for the entire 60 seconds, Lily was moving at a speed that no human eyes can even follow. She cuts every single bullet that comes their way and protects Light at the same time. They both came out completely unharmed and unscathed.

  "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

  The security forces freak out when they realize how outmatched they are despite their numbers.

  "W-W-WE-WE GIVE UP!!! PLEASE DON'T HURT US!!! WE'RE ONLY DOING OUR JOBS!!! PLEASE EXCUSE US!!!"

  And then all of a sudden, Lily moved further into the room and was behind all of the security without them even realizing it.

  "We get it! We're not gonna hurt you." answers Light.

  Then Lily moves at yet another speed faster than light, and she gently knocks out all of the security in the room. She has successfully disposed of any threat without causing serious harm.

  Light walks towards Lily and offers her a high five.

  "Good job, Lily!!"

  "Yay, Light-kun!!"

  They high-fived each other with a smile on their faces.

  Lily quickly notices an odd door in the security room, further back in the room. There was only one entrance to this room, and from how the room looked from the outside, the odd door should've led to nowhere.

  Lily approaches the door after informing Light. They both push open the door and walk inside.

  It was a small elevator. It was, in fact, too small to fit two teenagers inside.

  "Judging from the size, this is most likely a simple elevator for transferring small to medium-sized packages that was received by the security team. So, this should lead us down towards a very important room."

  Light looks towards Lily.

  ". . .Should we?" asks Light to Lily.

  "Um. . .Can we even fit there?"

  "If we snuggle, we can totally fit, I think."

  ". . .O-okay. . ."

  Lily's face turned red, but Light didn't notice it.

  Light enters the elevator first. He quickly finds a position that saves as much space as possible so that Lily can also fit.

  "Hops on, Lily!"

  Lily didn't answer but simply nodded her head, embarrassed. She gets inside and tries to fit as comfortably as possible.

  "Okay, so we should just press this. . ."

  *BEEP*

  Light presses a switch inside the elevator, and the door shuts off. The elevator starts going down smoothly. There is a dim light inside the elevator, bright enough for both of them to see each other.

  "So, what should we expect downstairs? I'm not gonna lie, this 100% is a trap."

  Lily's face was so close to Light's.

  "I think. . . we should be fine no matter what. . . It's us after all. . ."

  She answers him a bit quietly, but Light can still hear her.

  "Agreed! As long as we're together, we'll always keep each other out of harm's way!" said Light enthusiastically with a warm smile to Lily.

  ". . .oay. . ."

  Lily answers him quietly again, but she stumbles over her words.

  *GARCHACK*

  The elevator suddenly stops.

  "I think we're here!"

  Lily nods slowly.

  But as soon as the door to the elevator opens, they are bombarded by multiple flamethrowers aiming towards the elevator.
