  It has been one month since the fight with Martin, the man who called himself ‘God’. Lily has been living in Light's house, and they have been dating for a whole month.

  ". . .uuhh. . ."

  ". . .kun. . .! Wake up, Light-kun!"

  "Huh?"

  Light opens his eyes and wakes up in his bedroom.

  "Lily?!"

  Light sees Lily the first thing in the morning on the side of his bed.

  "Good morning, Light-kun." Lily greets her boyfriend.

  "Good morning, Lily." Light greets his girlfriend.

  They stared at each other blankly, and then their face turned red at the same time. They then face the other way and hide their faces away from each other.

  "(This is still embarrassing even after one month!)" said both of them at the same time in their head.

  "I-I'll prepare myself. Uh, see you later. . ."

  Lily blushingly excuses herself.

  "Y-Yeah. . .me too. . ."

  Light replies blushingly as well.

  "(UWAAH! THIS IS SO EMBARASSING!!)" said both of them again at the same time in their head.

  Lily exits Light's room and heads into her room on the second floor.

  A month ago, Light assigned Lily to stay in his late sister's room. Light himself never really talked about his sister to Lily. She has no idea that she is staying in his sister's room all this time, or rather, she doesn't even know that Light has a sister at all.

  Light closes his eyes and tries to focus to prepare for his daily routines.

  "(Concentrate!)"

  Light gets out of bed and prepares to take a bath.

  One month ago. . .

  "So, this is my house, which will be your home too from now on. You were only here for a short time before."

  Lily stares at the house. She looked happy, but Light suspects that due to her previous room and lifestyle that his house looks like luxury in comparison.

  "Well, let's go inside!"

  Light opened the door and held it open to let Lily come in, treating her with proper manners.

  "Thanks for having me!" said Lily.

  Lily looks so impatient and shakes a lot that she looks like a child in a candy store.

  "Follow me, I'll give you a house tour."

  Light began a house tour for Lily. They first visit the living room.

  "So, this is my living room, there are sofas and a TV here. I usually watch the news and sometimes act as a Judge regarding what's happening, but not always."

  Lily nods her head. They then visit the kitchen.

  "This is my kitchen. Due to some circumstances, I no longer use it. I just find it faster to buy food outside instead of making one myself since I've been living by myself for a long time."

  Lily nods, relating herself to Light's situation. They head to the bathroom on the first floor.

  "This is my bathroom, and I mainly take a bath here. But don't worry, I know girls need privacy, so this house does have a second bathroom upstairs, which I rarely used, so that bathroom is privately yours from now on."

  Lily nods heavily in agreement with Light's statement. They head upstairs next.

  "So, on the second floor, there are three rooms. My bedroom, an empty bedroom, and the second bathroom I told you about."

  "I see," replies Lily.

  "As for where your room is, you can use this empty bedroom. Don't worry, it's a girly room, so make yourself at home."

  Light opens the door to his sister's room, which he said was an empty room, and leads Lily inside.

  "This is gonna be your room. For now, please adjust yourself here in this room first. If you need anything, I'll be in my room. Excuse me!"

  Light excuses himself and exits the room, and heads to his own room. Lily is left alone in her new room. She feels jarring and strange because of how all of these feel so luxurious to her.

  "Am I really allowed to have this nice room and a new life ahead of me? I feel strange and relieved at the same time." said Lily, talking to herself.

  Lily tries to adjust herself in her new room while Light has already taken a nap to recover from his exhaustion from the battle.

  Lily sits on the bed. She slowly lies down and goes to sleep as well.

  Three hours later, the clock turns noon. Light gets out of his room and knocks on Lily's door.

  "Lily-san, got a minute?"

  Lily wakes up. She opens the door.

  "Yes?"

  Light looks at Lily's messy bed hair and sleepy face as she just woke up, and his heart skips a beat.

  "(Cute. . .)"

  "Can I come in?"

  "Of course you can!"

  Light enters her room, and he sits down on the floor.

  "Lily-san, can you sit down as well?"

  "Oh yes."

  Lily also sits on the floor in front of Light.

  "So, let's talk about the ceremony we did at the store."

  "Yes, please do explain!"

  "As you know, I am a Judge. The Judge of Lust. One of the Seven Layers of Judgment. My job is to primarily save the bad guys while still saving the victims as well."

  "Yes, you've kinda told me this before, although I wasn't exactly listening."

  "A Judge is allowed to have someone beside them to aid them in their duty. This person's role is called Support."

  "So, I have been appointed as your Support, correct?"

  "Exactly. Now you must know the role of a Support. First, a Support can directly feel the emotions of the Judge that they're appointed to, all the time. Did you notice this? Can you try guessing what I am feeling right now?"

  "Uh, I have been feeling a lot more emotions since that time. It feels like I am feeling someone else's emotions apart from my own. Lunehart-san, you are currently feeling happy and a bit frustrated, right?"

  "Correct. I am happy that you are free and the fact that I have you as a girlfriend now, but I am also frustrated that we didn't even defeat that man at all, but let's put that aside for now."

  Lily nods in agreement.

  "Second, a Judge can also summon this."

  *SHIIINNGGG*

  Light opens his palm and summons the Sword of Purification.

Try picturing a sword made out of light while opening your hand!" asks Light as the Sword of Purification disappears from his hand.

  "Uuh. . ." Lily puts her palm forward and opens it. She starts visualizing a sword made out of light in her head.

  *SHIINNNGGG*

  The Sword of Purification appears in her hand.

  "Woah!" Lily was surprised.

  "Good job, Lily-san! And by the way, while you hold the sword, I cannot summon it, so I have to wait until you un-summon it."

  "I see. . ."

  Lily unsummons the Sword of Purification from her hand.

  "Now, you remember about the blessing I told you? The one that made me immune to your time stop!"

  "I do remember it. That was so powerful, it feels like cheating."

  "Unfortunately, the Support doesn't get the blessing. So, it's the Judge's duty to also protect their Support, while it's the Support's duty to aid and help the Judge's duty. That's the relationship between the two roles."

  "Ah, I understand."

  "Now, about Unification, did you know about it beforehand?"

  "I. . . think I heard something similar about it somewhere in my days as an assassin, but I never knew that it had a name. All I hear about is that it's a forbidden technique that can only be performed by two Believers. Since I was all alone, I ignored all the rumors about it. To think that it was more than just a rumor. . ."

  "The thing is, that technique isn't exclusive to us, a Judge and a Support. Anyone can use that forbidden technique."

  "So, you're saying you have a reason why you made me a Support before we did that technique?"

  "Correct, when a Judge and their Support perform Unification, the Support was also granted the Judge's blessing, the God's Holy Grace."

  "Oh! Now I get it. . ."

  "Yes, that was why you were also immune to that man's power. This blessing made us immune to any indirect attacks, dark arts, any kind of binding, mind control, etc., so we are only vulnerable to physical attacks, but we can't use it anytime we want, though.   Lily was shocked hearing Light's explanation.

  "We were lucky, huh?"

  "Indeed, we were."

  "Also . . . I want to talk about that city. . ."

  Light's expression changed.

  "Ah. . . yes. . ." Lily's expression also changed.

  Light grabs both of Lily's shoulders.

  "Lily-san, this is our fault."

  "How so? I was the one who did all of that. . ."

  "No, I. . . I have the power to stop you, but I didn't do it quickly enough, and so, the people of that city paid the price. I am also to blame. This is on both our ends. We'll carry this burden for the rest of our lives."

  ". . .yes. . ."

  Guilt came over both of them. They stayed silent for a bit. And then Light speaks up to lighten the mood a bit.

  "Now that we've cleared things up, let's talk about our next important subject."

  "Which is?"

  "Our relationship!"

  Lily freezes.

  "O-Okay. . ."

  "Please address me as 'Light-kun' from now on!" demands Light.

  "L-Light-. . .kun?"

  "YES! Thank you! So, what should I call you in return from now on?"

  "Uum, just Lily is okay!"

  "Okay then, Lily, pleased to meet you!" Light offers Lily a handshake.

  "Pleased to meet you too, Light-kun!" Lily takes Light's hand and accepts his handshake.

  "So, the first step would be an ID card for you so you can stay legally in this country. We need a longer name for you, one that is complete with a family name."

  "Eh? I don't really wanna change my name! My name was given by Mi-chan. It's very special to me."

  "And of course I know that, but you need a full name to not raise any suspicions. . ."

  Light stays silent for a few minutes.

  "OH! Your name is gonna be Liliana Aiha, but you can still make people call you 'Lily' with that name, do you like it?"

  "Liliana. . .Aiha? I think it's a pretty name, thanks, . . .Light-kun!"

  "Okay, now that everything's settled, I want you to get accustomed to your new lifestyle first."

  "How do I do that?"

  "For today, you can use the PC in my room. Do you know how to boot a PC and browse the internet?"

  "I can do that!"

  Lily answers with a suspiciously flat tone.

  "Somehow I doubt that. . . Well, excuse me, I am going outside till nighttime."

  "Where are you going?"

  "My daily Judge duty."

  "Shouldn't I come with you instead?"

  "Yes, but as I said, you need to get accustomed to this new life first. Also, you need some alone time. You'll need it, trust me!" said Light as he smiled at Lily.

  Lily knows what he meant. She nods as Light leaves the room. She needs a rest. A lot of things happened one after another, and she was taken aback by the fact that she didn't even have time to cope with her best friend's death.

  Lily takes a seat on the bed and then curls into a ball as she lies down on the bed. She closes her eyes.

  Present time. . .

  During that one month, Lily has learned a lot about the current society and how people live in the real world, but there's also one other thing that Light introduces to Lily to vent with stresses and pressures. Light has introduced Lily to anime. In just one month, Lily has become a hardcore nerd who can tell a character's name just from hearing their voices alone.

  Light sort of regretted his decision on this. Light is more of a video game nerd, while Lily has become an anime nerd, but both of them still enjoy both anime and video games together. And today is the day when Light brought Lily outside on her first duty as a Support.

  "Lily! I'll be waiting outside, okay?" said Light in front of Lily's room door.

  "Yes, I'm coming!" answers Lily.

  Light heads downstairs, walks outside his house, and waits for Lily. After a few minutes, Lily opened the front door and left the house.

  "Are you sure you don't wanna wear the hoodie you got from Michelle anymore?"

  "That's okay. I've decided I want to move on. I know Michelle doesn't want me to dwell on her passing for too long. I've accepted her death. That's why I decided that I want to keep it as a memento and treasure it from now on." said Lily as she smiled beautifully.

  "I see. That's good. . ."

  "(I envy you. . .)"

  Lily's clothing has changed. She now wears a sleeveless black hoodie similar to Light’s with blue trim on the bottom, a pair of black arm socks with blue trims on both ends, a black short skirt with blue trim on the bottom with black short pants underneath, a pair of black leggings that reach past her knees with blue trims on the top, and a pair of black girls' shoes. These clothes were bought by Light.

  "I'm ready, Light-kun!"

  "You look so cool and pretty in that outfit."

  Light praises Lily.

  "T-Thanks. . ."

  "(I never realized how wonderful it is when someone of the opposite gender compliments your style.)" said Lily to herself.

  "Alright."

  Light puts his right hand around her waist and pulls her in against his body.

  "W-W-W-W-W-W-W-What are you doing?" said Lily, feeling embarrassed.

  "Just hold on tight!" replied Light with a smile.

  Light transforms his feet and gathers wind around them. He flies with Lily towards the sky and leaves the house.
