In the summer of 2024, the Syndicate-the world’s most powerful alliance of supervillains-suffered multiple losses. These culminated in a particularly humiliating defeat at the Sabre Bastion, the headquarters of the international intelligence agency VALOR. Despite member deaths and betrayal on multiple fronts, they do not intend to back down. Seeking revenge on Earth’s heroes, VALOR, and anyone else involved in their latest downfall, the Syndicate use their resources and amoral approach to science to develop a powerful new weapon. This endeavor results in the creation of their newest member-Lady of Wrath.
