The students wore the Ethergeist Academy uniforms of blue, black, and white. They all gathered in the hall, where a crystal logo was displayed, surrounded by six doors of different colors, representing each Wing. Each student would be sorted into a specific Wing. Students were asked to stand on the crystal logo, which had six sharp edges. Standing on it, six doors would appear. Each door represented a Wing, and each door would have a different Wing symbol. The ice crystal logo would sparkle and emit magic, causing one of the doors to glow. Only one door would remain, meaning that was their Wing. Then, robes would appear, corresponding to their assigned Wing.

  The seniors sat in the chairs there to watch the prospective students being sorted.

  Nautika looked at Rainer, who was standing next to her with an excited expression. "What Wing do you hope to get?" she asked.

  Rainer glanced at her, her crow still perched faithfully on her shoulder. "I hope I get Alchemist!" she replied enthusiastically. "What about you?"

  "Um, honestly, I don't know. I hope whatever I get, I can follow the proper lessons and become a great Wargeist," Nautika replied.

  Rainer looked at her with a confused look. "Are you serious? There's no Wing you're looking forward to?"

  Nautika paused for a moment, thinking about the Wing and what they would offer. "The Magical Animals Wing is good," she said. She turned to Phoebe. "What about you, which Wing do you want?"

  "The Magical Animals!" Phoebe replied excitedly. "I want to meet Loomy! That magical rabbit!"

  A professor stood in the center of the room. He smiled as he looked at the new students. "My name is Silas Archielles, you can call me Professor Achilles. I am the professor for the Fighters & Hunters Wing." He introduced himself. "I will call your names and then you will come forward one by one to be sorted into your Wing. There are only five Wing available because we have closed the Cosmic Wing."

  A seltzer called the students one by one. They were directed to the center of the ice crystal logo on the floor and waited for one of the doors to light up.

  Rainer was called first from the Nautika Wing, and she walked excitedly. As she stood in the center of the logo, one of the doors finally lit up, the door to the Alchemist Wing! she truly got her dream Wing. She took his robe and received one potion and one relic.

  Shortly after, Phoebe's name was called. She was sorted into the Magical Animals Wing! She chose a magical animal named Loomy. A magical rabbit with wings and the ability to fly, with a small crystal on its forehead that powers it.

  Nautika was a bit nervous because all the students had already been sorted, and she was the last one. Nautika's name was called, and she walked to the Ice Crystal logo on the floor and stood in the middle. Everyone looked at her, curious about which Wing she would be assigned. But suddenly, one of the doors emitted light. It was the Cosmic Door. Everyone looked shocked. The white light from the door suddenly turned red, terrifying sounds rang out, and a scary creature emerged from the red light. The sounds were terrifying and deafening. The students covered their ears. The atmosphere turned terrifying.

  The poltergeists on guard immediately panicked and pulled Nautika and the students out of the hall.

  "Let's get out of there!" one of the poltergeists shouted, hovering in the air to ensure the students left the room safely.

  One of the Alchemy class professors, Mortimer Blight, or Professor Blight, threw a relic, and the creature was sucked into it. The Cosmic Door was enchanted. The red light slowly faded.

  Professor Mortina walked over to Nautika and spoke. "Since there was a slight error, I'll let you choose whichever wing you want," she said. She wouldn't let Nautika take another test because she fear the Cosmic Door would open again. So she let Nautika choose.

  Nautika, still frightened, nodded, thinking for a moment before finally deciding. "I... I... I choose the Magical Animals wing," she replied. To be honest, she was still shocked and afraid when the Cosmic Door suddenly made a terrifying sound and the terrifying creature appeared. She also felt the students and professors watching her closely, especially Professor Mortina.

  "Okay, you'll go to that wing," Professor Mortina said.

  Rainer and Phoebe ran to her, and Phoebe hugged her.

  "Are you okay? I was so shocked when the cosmic door suddenly lit up and made those scary noises!" Phoebe said.

  "That's so strange. Wasn't the cosmic door already closed? There are no more students stationed in that wing. But why did it suddenly open again?" Rainer said in surprise.

  Nautika and Phoebe were in the same dorm room. Phoebe unpacked a lot of her belongings from her suitcase, and her magical pet, Loomy, was also given a small mattress so she could sleep soundly.

  Nautika looked at the magical pet; honestly, it was very cute. But because of the scary incident earlier and she was told to choose a wing, she couldn't choose a magical pet. Professor Mortina said she could get one tomorrow.

  "What magical pet do you want?" Phoebe asked.

  "Um... I don't know," Nautika replied.

  "You seem still scared about what happened earlier, huh?" Phoebe asked.

  Nautika just nodded. Honestly, she was still scared, because the creature that came out of the Cosmic door was very scary, and it flew towards her before one of the poltergeists finally pulled her away.
