As the evil spirits poured into Uruk’s main force, a scene of utter hell unfolded.
In an instant, dozens of soldiers were torn apart, their bodies rotting and melting like wax.
Those who tried to fight back were reduced to mangled flesh and fell where they stood.
When comrades were brutally slaughtered by evil spirits that attacks could not harm, the soldiers screamed and began to flee.
Kashirgal swung his massive execution blade, cleaving three or four fleeing soldiers in half at once.
“Grrrr… fleeing will not be tolerated.”
Whether Kashirgal swung his blade or not, the panicked soldiers struggled desperately to survive.
As they pulled back, Kashirgal advanced toward the evil spirits.
Just as he whirled his execution blade and tried to charge into their midst, a radiant wall appeared before him.
Slamming into it, Kashirgal halted with a furious growl.
Soon, dozens of walls of light formed, beginning to trap the evil spirits.

The priests of Ginsu had stepped in.
While they blocked the spirits’ attacks with walls of light, High Priestess Marbala began the rite of Purification.
As she swung her staff and focused her power, a wide purification zone spread across the ground.
The evil spirits standing within it were erased in bursts of light, turning to dust.
Marbala looked at Kashirgal and smiled faintly.
“Bravery is admirable, General—but one must also consider affinities.”
As Marbala and the priesthood continued their bindings and purifications, the legion of evil spirits—once numbering in the hundreds—was reduced to less than a third in moments.
Startled, Azael ordered the remaining spirits to retreat to the top of the wall.
The evil spirits climbed the wall like swarming ants, scaling ladders and vines alike.
In the process, they mercilessly slaughtered Uruk’s soldiers and monsters.
The victims screamed their death cries as they fell to the ground below, while Marbala and the priesthood could only watch silently, unable to stop the spirits that had escaped upward.
Pulling the surviving soldiers back, Marbala deployed her signature ability, Healing Aura.
A massive aura spread out like a roof, enveloping most of Uruk’s army.
Within it, the wounds and injuries of all allied forces slowly began to heal.
Watching most of his subordinates reduced to piles of flesh on the ground, Kashirgal clenched his teeth and fixed his glare on the wall.
Meanwhile, Neragalsu prepared the next deadly assault together with Abarkash.
Abarkash dispersed the Sand Roof into fine particles and recalled it, then began raising a sandstorm.
Into the raging sandstorm, Neragalsu released vast amounts of poisonous mist.
The sandstorm, mixed with deadly poison, surged rapidly toward the top of the wall.
