Arata spent a good few hours just staring at the stage, rewatching himself dying and fighting every opponent he had encountered in this world. Every fight he had a similar flow chart, react to your opponent before trying to get a hit in.
Ravenna holds a smug look, speaking up, “Oh lost little lamb, shall I show you the light? An angel may bestow impactful wisdom.”
Bullshit, can't she just drop the act already? Arata glares at the angel yet she is seemingly content by knowing she managed to get under Arata's skin.
Ravenna chuckled, “Well mana is the energy of the soul? That's what you’ve learned so far right? Then answer me this? How may the surrounding world have magic itself?”
Arata is stumped, he really doesn't have an answer to that question. Suddenly the stage turns into a whiteboard, Ravenna dons a white buttoned-up shirt, pencil skirt, glasses and a pointer. On the whiteboard reads “Biomagic class - magic system” giving Arata a strange sense of deja vu.
“In order for a sentient being to be born, a soul needs to be created from energy within the earth. This stems from denatured heat. By adding a certain X factor we get mana.”
Arata raises his hand. Why did I do that? She's not a real teacher.
“That's cool and all but why can't you tell me the X factor?” Arata questions.
“Because this lecture would become 10 more hours long, now no more stupid questions… when you got isekaied, your soul was pulled into the other world and your soul has no mana because it doesn't exist in your home world. However, your existence is between limbo with your world and this one.”

Ravenna clears her throat before speaking again, “your being still needs to follow the law of conversation of energy yet your position risks taking energy between universes, thus your body is not allowed to store it. However, there's a vacuum now around you that mana wants to move to. Demiurge foundry allows you to shape said mana.”
Conservation of energy, parallel universes and the soul. The fuck does this all even mean? Should I have been taking notes? Arata stresses over the curriculum in front of him, raising his hand in confusion.
Ravenna sighs, “I'll give you the lecture notes once I'm done. Be a little more patient maybe?”
“Why continue the lecture when I can't understand this part? What's your point.” Arata questions her.
Ravenna points out, “This is all just theoretical, while many of my points are correct I have a hard time explaining how your soul manages to jump between here and the other world so often, reforming itself yet keeping its shape. Look all you need to know is how to pull mana from thinner sources, the surrounding environment has a little and you need to figure out how to shape the environment’s mana to be more proactive in fights.”
Hold on, this theater is another universe itself? Arata raises his hand, “sorry, I didn't know the theater was its own universe, care to explain?”
“Alright, ready for a fifteen hour long lecture?” Ravenna questions.
“Give me the TLDR.” Arata demands.
Ravenna pouts a little before saying, “we exist between universes in this place. Done, if you ask a question now I swear to god-”
“Funny to hear an angel use those words, no I'll just explore around the theater for a while.” Arata comments, cutting her off.
Arata’s other world logbook Professor Ravenna’s perfect magic class entry #7: quantum soul mechanics and parallel universes
Arata I swear you're going to fail this class. Do I really have to dumb it down for you? Shiny skin monkey go to another world, other worlds have special shiny skin monkey power, shiny skin monkey is now anomaly in laws of said reality. Shiny skin monkey power wants to disperse evenly under normal state but anomalous shiny skin monkey controls that state. This is due to shiny skin monkeys traveling between universes too much. Done, you should be smart enough to understand that now you lobotomite!
