“You all should get some rest. It's been a long day. You'll learn more and have some training tomorrow. Bond with some of the other students if you want, I would recommend Sirius. If you can get on his good side then you're safe from almost any threat, with the exception of very few even without his kraft. Though it's probably not likely, his only friend at kai academy is Jean.” He thinks for a second then adds to it.

  “Tim, you should probably sleep. It's late and you need more sleep than others.” Their teacher says.

  “Yes Derrick! I'm excited to have a nice bed” Tim replies excitedly.

  Derrick frowns just under noticeability.

  “They are wonderful beds, and you'll receive some money in the morning for being a kai academy student. Each of you will. You'll get some each month with this bit being a little more for decorating your room.”

  Tim smiles widely.

  “Bye Derrick!” He yells out.

  The students walk towards their dorm entrance area. It's a spacious room with some comfy furniture, a tablet that shows their schedules as well as allowing them to request things from the staff with the most common request being extra help, and the ranks of staff and students. Their letter rank and rank within the school. Jason reads the list of the staff aloud while Leo looks for people to socialize with.

  “Staff. Number one is Draken, then Braz, Mason, Maddison, Dave, Derrick, Margo, Eric, Isola, Lola, Jimmy, Pearl.” He says curiously.

  Jason waves over Leo.

  “Look at this. Derrick didn't mention an S+ rank, but it says Draken is one. Also it seems the staff are strong. Only the cooks get below B rank. The students are very strong too.”

  Leo points at the other list.

  “The students aren't bad either. No one besides the first year students get below B rank. And this guy, Sirius, he's also S+ rank. Only two people in the entire school. And very few S ranks. Considering he didn't mention S+ ranks they're probably very rare…Jason if you ever manage to get an S+ rank kai bane, you'll probably be very powerful.” Leo tells his friend.

  “They are powerful.” Mia adds. “Derrick, the S+ rank staff, he's so powerful that kai manipulators went into hiding. It's mostly kai banes and calamities now. Humans are too scared to fight with him around, the god amongst men. And Sirius, the student S+ rank, is meant to be the second coming of him, with the kraft of actual gods. Even just one S+ rank kai calamity automatically would make you able to potentially beat an S rank kai user or manipulator.”

  Leo nods and scrolls to the schedule.

  “Kai tool introduction. Nice, we're learning about kai tools tomorrow. Andrew, you know a lot about them, you'll do well tomorrow right?”

  “Yeah I do. They're my main way of fighting.” He replies with a tone lower than usual.

  Leo looks at him questioningly, then scans the room. Him. That's Sirius. I can feel his presence. It's like a forest fire surrounded by matches. Leo walks towards him. His kai. It fills the whole room, smothering the others. It's terrifying. Is that why he doesn't have many friends?

  “Hello! You're Sirius right?” Leo asks, ecstatic to make a friend.

  Even if he wasn't powerful Leo would still want to be friends with him. He strives to be friendly to everyone and Sirius seems like the kind of guy that needs a friend in Leo's mind.

  “That is me. Your class seems strong. Physical pinnacle, motion rewrite, kai shot, copy, and kai bane manipulation. You all have B rank potential at least.” He tells them.

  “Could you beat them?” Leo questions.

  Sirius looks confused and faces Jean. Jean shrugs.

  “Beat what?” He asks, curiosity creeping into his voice.

  “An S+ rank of course, I didn't even know they existed a few minutes ago. Can you describe what an S+ rank is?” Leo answers.

  Sirius nods.

  “Easier than most. An S+ rank stands amongst the best of the best. It's a very rare ranking among humans however kai banes with the title aren't so rare. You are aware how kai banes are made right?” Sirius wonders.

  “I'm not, please tell me.” Leo says.

  Sirius lets out a deep exhale.

  “They can be formed by deaths from people with low kai, the death of an evil person, or a person with unfinished business. The last way they can be formed is from fear. The more people fear whatever it's manifested from, the stronger they are. Kai calamities are S rank or above. They're formed from truly despicable people dying, a mass amount of people with low kai, huge fears, and heavy unfinished business.”

  He quickly attempts to change the subject.

  “With that in mind, the possibility to face your greatest fear incarnate, you thinking of quitting yet?”

  Leo shakes his head.

  “If anyone out there were to die after I quit, I couldn't let it go. I have to save them.”

  Sirius smiles.

  “Well the only way to do that is to be strong. If you really want to, I'd request Draken. Almost nobody but me ever requests him. Let's introduce you to the rest of the students.”

  He points to the second year students.

  “I'm sure you remember them. I'm just going to tell you their name and kraft name. You can look up what their kraft does yourself in our database. It keeps track of everything we know and it holds a lot.”

  Sirius takes a breath then starts naming.

  “Josh has the kraft called lucky draw, Luna has engorged flame, Samuel, ice brittler, Silvana, the races, Tien, save and load.”

  Leo takes note. He nods towards another group of students.

  “The 3rd years, including me. Annabeth has Spirit animals.” He tells Leo as he moves on.

  “The guy in green is Pomlh with card sharks gambit. It's a little complicated and it took him a while to get the hang of it.” Sirius compliments.

  He looks at Reeve.

  “He has the ability called radar and is the school’s tracker.”

  He shows Violua.

  “His kraft is lightning covering.”

  He then looks back at Leo then puts his arm on Jean's shoulder.

  “I'll talk about myself last. This is Jean, he can cancel any kraft and he's a fourth year student. Maria has bat form, she refrains from using it though. Rave is our only Kai bane student and he is paired with Tommar to turn himself into a weapon using kai. Finally Ronnie. He's got a summoning vessel based kraft called jester.”

  Sirius looks down at his hands, coating them in kai. I feel too terrified to even say a word. Leo thinks to himself. This overwhelming kai. But… I can sense it's good. Like I'm going to be safe. It feels like I could die at any second he wants but I feel somewhat safer. Most people would likely be terrified of this great level of kai.

  “Lastly, I have mythological mayhem. I can use some of the gods’ abilities. It's not a good kraft without practice and training.” He says whilst still staring at his hand.

  I need to train more. I can't let him down.

  “You're too modest Sirius.” Jean says. “Tell him what happened with Ren.”

  Jean smiles. Leo's eyes glow with curiosity.

  “Tell it!” Jason asks as he joins.

  “Alright.”

  Sirius Konoha has the kai craft of Mythological mayhem. It has four main uses. The first is mythological transformation and it allows him to transform into gods and gain a random quarter of their abilities with the duration depending on how much kai he uses. The second is mythological summoning and it allows him to summon up to five super weakened clones of gods as summoning vessels. Mythological weapon summoning is the third and allows him to summon a mythological weapon by chanting it's name. And the final allows him to boost a companions power an extra thirty percent. He can't use real gods however and mainly uses Greek gods.
