Chapter 46: Cult?
(*Celia’s POV*)
Upoering the yer, Velta quietly warned me to go invisible. She had the right idea, as some people wearing cloaks were very close to us.
Celia: “What the heck? Don’t those people look like a cult?” I ask with a curious tone.
Velta: “Here’s some secret Hell knowledge for you, a certain guide wants to end the world. Or more accurately, she wants to i with demons, and the souls of the damned.” She expined.
Celia: “Huh? And no one has even bothered to stop them?” I ask with a head tilt.
Velta: “This information is hard to e by. Only really important people like me know about it. Whenever anyone es to ihis yer, they quickly returhing to normal.” She answered.
Oh, e on! This pce is totally a pce for a cult! This damn yer is just a dark cave… Those cult members were carrying torches, so ohey left, I was now pletely in darkness. I guess the theme of this yer is absolute darkness…
Velta: “Don’t expect the current admin of Hell to actually help you out. Instead, deal with this cult, and then they will most likely help you as thanks.” She suggested.
Celia: “Wouldn’t I have to prove that this cult exists to them?” I ask with a raised eyebrow.
Velta: “They should already know about it. Look, Hell has a lot utions. Just think of it as the most annoying kind of bureaucra existence. Each yer of Hell is left to the Hell Guides alone.” She replied with a sigh.
Celia: “So what’s the point of the administrator, then?” I ask.
Velta: “They have ultimate power, almost. They have to get approval from ten high table members before they do anything drastic. They’re probably gathering more evidence of this cult before they ad deal with them.” She replied.
Dammit… There is no way that the Hell Guide of this yer will help me out. Especially when they’re trying to make a fug cult… With nothier to do, I decided to catch up with those cult members.
Those fuckers were quite slow, so it only took me a few mio find them once again. The torches they had helped me find them quicker, too. Funny… They don’t even realize that I am following them, heh.
Cult Member A: “Man… I really miss my wife.” He said with a sigh.
Cult Member B: “Didn’t you kill her? I am pretty sure that’s why you ended up in Hell…” She asked.
Cult Member A: “I did. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t miss her now.” He said with a sigh.
Cult Member B: “…I doubt that letting you e back would be a good idea.” She said with a groan.
Cult Member C: “Could you two please stop yapping? What if you guide some random person to our secret base?” She said with a stern tone.
Cult Member B: “Secret base? What are you, five? I think that calling it was it is, which is the sacrifi that doubles as a base, would be better.” He said with a fed up tone.
Cult Member C: “’t you let me have my fun? Besides, we have no idea if little miss Hell Guide’s pn will actually work, anyway.” She said with a shrug.
Cult Member A: “I hope that it does. Then I finally see my wife again.” He said with a happy tone.
Cult Member B and C: “You fug killed her! She is probably in heaven, you fug fool!” They both said in unison.
I… I didn’t expect that I would have to deal with this show… I kinda feel bad now, these people are just normal. Well, not ting the part where they did something horrible to end up in Hell, that is.
Velta: “You don’t have to kill them all, Celia. Just kill the Hell Guide and take her ring. Or, you could just take her ring.” She said.
Celia: “I’ll probably just kill her, if I am being ho. If she is gathering up people like this, nothing good will e of her cult.” I reply with a sigh.
Following the cult members who would not just cut the chatter, I eventually ended up at their so called secret base. Eh, it looked like a normal ass cave to me. But I did see something that made my blood boil…
Cult Member A: “Is this enough sacrifices yet?” He asked.
Cult Member B: “Fuo. We’ll probably need a few thousand more.” He denied.
Cult Member C: “A shame… I feel bad about killing them all.” She said with a sigh.
Fuck it! I am killing them all! Why was this left alone so long!? There were tless bodies of cute women all around the room… I mean, at least they weren’t children, but it still pisses me the fuck off.
Velta: “This… This is horrible!” She yelled with an angry tone.
Celia: “I know…” I say with an annoyed sigh.
Velta: “No, Celia, you don’t uand! This Hell Guide has been not only going to your world of the living to kidnap women, but to other living worlds in different dimensions as well! This breaks so many damn ws, it wouldn’t be surprising if her soul was to be erased…” She expined with a serious tone.
Celia: “So are they all a lost cause?” I ask.
Velta: “Lost cause!? Celia, they’re all most likely marked to NOT be given infinite ces in Hell. Killing them would erase their souls permaly. It’s just that a reaper has e to deal with them yet…” She replied.
Celia: “Reaper? Are they different from Death Gods and Goddesses?” I ask with a curious tone.
Velta: “They mainly operate in Hell, while Death Gods and Goddesses do whatever.” She answered.
Celia: “I see… Thanks for answering.” I reply.
Looking around the rge cave area, it seemed that the few thousand members of this cult were about to do more sacrifices. The scared looks oill surviving women are hard to look at…
It’s not my fault that they went this far, they ’t bme me for needing to kill them. The moment they decided to use people as sacrifices was the moment that they lost all signs of humanity. With that, I started a sughter. At least, this time, it is an absolutely justified one.
