Volume 2. Chapter 44: Absurd Guide. (Chapter 144.)

  Chapter 44: Absurd Guide.

  (*Celia’s POV*)

I wao take a nap at an inn, I truly did, but that wasn’t an option. Everything in Hell required payment in Hell points. Well, most people in Hell call them Sin points, but I find that calling them Hell points is more fun.

Asking around, I learned of the location of a Hell Guide. Apparently, she loved to drink, and basically stayed at her favorite bar every day. Despite not having any Hell points, most of the people here were willing to help me out.

I did pletely clear out the entrao this city, which everyone appreciates. They even pointed me to where the bar was located at. Drink Until You Drop, was the most famous bar in this yer.

Walking into the bar, I was greeted with an odd sight. The woman, who I assume is a guide, had itted a sughter in the bar… Aren’t Guides supposed to be, you know, good? As I tried to approach her, she attacked me.

Barkeeper: “Just run away! Ferni is in an alcohol fueled rampage once more!” She expined while hiding behind the bar.

Again? You mean, she does this all the time? Why the fuck do you even allow her to drink if she ends up doing this every time!? I mean, I know that dying in Hell just makes you lose your power, and end back up in the same yer, but surely this shouldn’t be a thing that is allowed to happen, right?…

Celia: “Are you the guide for this yer? If so, then I need your help.” I say after I blocked her sword with my own.

The woman just drunkly giggled, and tio fight me. Is… is she having fun fighting me? Fine… I’ll just fight her until she calms down. Frankly, it wasn’t really that hard to fight her. She was far weaker than Yeeva, so I could easily deal with her.

  *Some Time Later.*

This Ferni woman seemed to have endless stamina… We had been fighting for over an hour, and she was still going strong. Like before, a crowd showed up around the fight. Everyone was cheering me on, tellio give Ferni a taste of her own medie.

I’ve already gotten bored with fighting this drunken woman, so I dodged her attack, went behind her, and then I choked her out. She quickly fell asleep in my arms. Oddly, she had a pleasant smile on her face…

Barkeeper: “You knocked her out? That would be a first… I get you something to drink?” She offered.

Celia: “Thanks, but I don’t drink.” I deny.

Barkeeper: “You said that you need her help, right? I let you stay in a room for free tonight. Of course, a room with two beds. You help Ferni out with her hangover, and then she will probably help you as thanks.” She suggested.

Hm… That would probably be a good idea. Not ting that small nap in that cave, I retty worn out, and I super needed some sleep. With a thanks and a smile, I took the room key from the woman. I the over to the soundly sleeping drunk icked her up in a princess carry, and theo my room.

I put her onto a separate bed, and then I went to take a shower. Despite the blood and gore being dry, I still smelled quite bad. This is one of those times where I truly wished that I could use ing magic…

Ruina: “You , though?” She said with a fused tone.

Celia: “Are you joking? I swear that I do not have the ing magic skill…” I say with an uone.

Ruina: “ing magic doesn’t really exist, you know? It’s a mix of water magic, wind magic, fire magid a few others. You just have to bihem. Before you ask, people that only use ing magic, just have access to weak versions of each of those elements.” She expined.

Are you fug kidding me!? I could have been ing myself this eime? Why didn’t Solia teach me about this?… Whatever… It’s far better to know that I use it, rather than not having it…

With a sigh, I tried out a method of ing myself that Ruina described. It was far easier to do than I thought that it would be… Most of the maids use ing magic, but not on the same level as when Ria does it. What I did just now was close to her level, but not quite. Even so, I felt sparkly , and not like I just retly killed a fuck ton of demons.

Celia: “Ruina, could you expin to me all of the things that I do, that I don’t know about yet?” I ask with a curious tone.

Ruina: “It would take many years to do so. I’ll just stick to expining things when you need access to them. Besides, it was fun keeping you in the dark about ing magic.” She denied with a giggle.

  Celia: “…”

It’s good to see that Ruina is just as cheeky as ever… With a long sigh, I got onto the bed, which retty shitty. God… I am miss my family so fug much!…

Ria: “And they miss you as well, Celia.” She said with a ugh.

Celia: “Really? But how much exactly?” I ask with a curious tone.

Ria: “So much that they’re willing to abandon the war, kill themselves so they go to Hell and save you. Not ting Nia, of course, as she teically visit Hell as long as she gets permission.” She replied.

Celia: “Holy shit! Please vihem NOT to kill themselves!” I excim.

Ria: “I did, don’t worry. Besides, most of them will end up in Heaven, not Hell. They all miss you, so don’t worry about that. Lia is upset though, as she feels like what happened was her fault.” She reassured.

Celia: “It wasn’t her fault. That trap was most likely meant for me, anyway. It’s better that I ended up here, as I am more capable of getting out thahers are.” I say with a thinking pose.

Ria: “I agree. Anylease have a nice sleep, Celia.” She said with a warm tone.

I toodnight, and then I tried going to sleep. The bed was hard, but I’ve slept in worse ditions before. Now I just have hope that this woman will actually be willing to help me tomorrow…
