SURPRISE!!!

  First off, Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I have come with some updates for you guys! The most exciting of which being the fact I will be releasing new Extra Chapters every day from Christmas all the way to the New Year!

  Now, what do these Extra Chapters entail? Well, they're simply chapters that take place during the one year time skip between Chapter 20 & 21, with the focus entirely on Dama and Giona's perspective! This is a main byproduct of me trying to better setup future plot points, but I also feel like having a one year time skip was a bit disingenuous for Giona's journey of recovery. These Extra Chapters will flesh out a lot of relationships between characters, introduce new lore for Enohay Village and even new characters! There will be more content after the chapter scheduled to release on New Years', but that content will be on my upcoming Patreon until my planned comeback on March 11th, 2025, where they will be released publicly!

  Another update are the edits I have made to either specific characters, individual chapters, or the overall story.

  Let's start with the changes made to specific characters:

  Dama Jinbia: There are times where Dama's eye color switched from blue to green and vice versa. I'm here to say for certain he has green eyes.

  Giona: Same issue with Dama, but with yellow and blue eyes. Her eyes are blue.

  Nina: I have retconned Nina's name to be Nini to fit the naming scheme with Mumu and Baba. (It's going to take awhile changing each chapter)

  The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

  Nameless Shrine Maiden: The nameless Shrine Maiden that Dama talks to in Chapter 6, I have given her the name "Caera Goten". Whether she will be important later on or not is still up in the air.

  Kima Juryoku: Due to her name being a bit too close to Kina Alder, I have retconned her name to be Kiara Juryoku.

  Liam Leir: There are instances where Liam's last name is spelled "Lier". The correct spelling is Leir.

  Next is the chapters I have changed with important enough edits:

  Chapters 3, 4, 6, 9, 10, 16: Added some new/removed some dialogue and/or scenes.

  Chapter 20: Changed title.

  Chapters 21-23: Slated to be overhauled in the future, since Mystigo acts a little out of character.

  Chapter 26: Changed the title to fit with the Briarwood -> Briarstone name retcon.

  Halloween Special: A lot of grammatical error corrections. Honestly kind of embarrassed...

  Chapter 60: I plan on editing this heavily in the future, as I do not like how I wrote it.

  Finally is changes I have made to the overall story:

  There isn't much to this section. The only thing I really changed is the fact I made it more apparent that Giona can read due to the fact Grimoires are a thing in Aether Nexus, which is apart of Matchi Tehew's grand plan. This is more of a by product of my earlier issue of having trouble setting up future plot points.

  I also scrapped the whole "Act" structure, which you can see be mirrored in the fact I changed my Volumes from "Act 1" & "Act 2" to just "Year 1" & "Year 2".

  There will most likely be future changes and retcons, and I'll make sure to make another standalone chapter like this to address them if the time comes.
