A few days had passed sihe ba the Hakurei Shrine. Life in Gensokyo had settled bato its peculiar rhythm, and Mirage Carl found himself back at his cozy treehouse, still sharing his days with Mystia.

One m, Mystia looked unusually determined as she paced around the house. Her wings fluttered in agitation, and she mumbled to herself, "Yakitori... how dare they..."

Mirage Carl gnced up from his cup of tea, curious. "What's b you this time, Mystia?"

She turo him, her eyes fierce. "I've decided! I'm opening my Grilled Lamprey Stand again!"

Mirage Carl nearly choked on his tea. "Huh? All of a sudden? Why?"

Mystia's face sched up in disgust. "I saw some youkai eating yakitori the other day. Yakitori! you believe it? Those poor little birds... It's uable!"

Mirage Carl chuckled, realizing her usual bird pride was the cause. "So you're doing this out of rivalry?"

Mystia's cheeks puffed up. "It's not just that! Lamprey is healthier! And besides, I miss my stand... and singing to ers."

Mirage Carl smiled, seeing her enthusiasm. "Alright, I'll help you out. Where are you pnning to set it up?"

Mystia's expression turned hesitant. "I was thinking... he Human Vilge."

Mirage Carl raised an eyebrow. "The Human Vilge? Are you sure that's a good idea?"

Mystia fidgeted nervously. "It's the best pce for business. But... there's one problem..."

Mirage Carl leaned in, curious. "What's the problem?"

Mystia's wings drooped as she sighed. "I need a permit from the vilge guardian... Keine Kamishirasawa."

"Keine Kamishirasawa?" Mirage Carl repeated the name, unfamiliar with it. "Was she s?"

Mystia shook her head rapidly. "No, no, no! She's terrifying! Not because of her strength... but because of something far worse!"

I leaned in, curiosity piqued. "Worse than strength? What's that supposed to mean?"

Mystia shivered, ing her wings around herself. "She... she teaches history."

I stared at her, waiting for more. "...And?"

Mystia's eyes were wide with fear. "She makes you listen t lectures... for hours! And if she catches a youkai he vilge... she'll lecture you until you beg for mercy!"

I tried to hold back my ughter, realizing that Mystia's fear wasn't physical but psychological. "So, you're afraid of getting... a history lesson?"

Mystia turned red, gring at me. "It's not just a history lesson! It's pure torture! You have no idea how b she be!"

I patted her on the head, grinning. "Alright, alright, I get it. I'll go meet her ahe permit. I'm curious to see this terrifying teacher for myself."

Mystia's face lit up with relief. "Really? You'll do that for me?"

I gave her a reassuring nod. "Yeah. Besides, I'm curious about this Keine. If she's that scary, it should be iing."

Mystia's wings fluttered happily. "Thank you! I'll start preparing the stall while yone!"

I looked in the dire of the Human Vilge, a sense of anticipation building. "Alright... time to meet this infamous guardian."

I didn't know what to expect, but I was about tret finding out why Mystia was so afraid of Keine Kamishirasawa.
