  Who Will Bring The Lily

  Vampic Fall~~

  Palace~~

  “Great men of Vampic Fall, we are gathered here today to decide if we should carry out a war on the Ricadua kingdom. But first, I would like to make some changes in the elders council,” Hunter’s voice rang out in the hall. The elders could be seen seated in their various seats. Beside the throne is Lazarus, standing firmly with a sword in his sheath. He looked on, not bothered about the murmurings made by some of the elders, towards the words of the king

  “Silence…” Hunter yelled in fury, as the hall became as silent as a graveyard

  “First, I will be giving a new position to one of you. Emmett, step forward” he stated, as Emmett stepped out with smiles plastered on his face; the other elders scoffed

  “Egeus..you next” Egeus hesitated before standing up

  Hunter smirked

  “Now listen to me everyone, we are gonna be having a new leader today. From now on, I’m stripping Egeus from his title as the head of the council. And making Emmett, the new chief in command” he stated, as there was a loud chattering in the hall.

  “This is outrageous my king..you can’t strip Egeus off his title” one of the elders spoke up, as the other nodded in support

  “And Emmett is just a young Elder; he isn’t fit for the post”

  “We won’t agree to this…”

  They kept on lashing out their mind in anger, as Hunter watched them, furious at their outburst. Egeus didn’t mutter a word, he kept shaking his head, muttering words that no one heard.

  “Silence” Hunter yelled

  “I have spoken..and no one will go against the words of the king. Emmett is now your leader; you all will get permission from him to do anything. Whatsoever decision you are making should be granted by him. He will be your spoke man and no more questions” he slammed.

  “Yes….your highness” they grumpily replied, not wanting to lose their heads

  “My King….” Lazarus was about to say but was interrupted

  “You will say no words, Lazarus…I have spoken,” Hunter chipped in.

  He sighed, keeping his mouth shut. Hunter has taken power into his hands, now he is misusing it. He wished he could stop all this madness, but only the one blessed with the mark of Dracula can stop Hunter; as long as he is of royal blood and the trident is still intact with him, then no one can stop him.

  “Now, back to our earlier discussion…we will be going on a war with Ricadua….” Hunter stated. He was still speaking when a young guard ran in, disrupting the discussion

  “My King…I have a message..” he yelled out, panting hard

  Hunter groaned in anger; he hated to be disrupted. The ring on his finger shone bright as he made an attempt to strike the poor guard dead but was stopped by Lazarus. He placed his hand on the ring, as the power went off. This made Hunter more enraged, but he calmed down when the boy spoke out

  “I’m sorry my king, but the prisoners are all gone, including the slaves kept in their cages.” He stated as everyone turned to him with a surprised look

  “What the hell are you talking about…” Hunter yelled, standing to his feet, as he shoved Lazarus’ hand off

  “I was sent by the chief Warrior; he said that some of our weapons are considered missing, too. Some beasts of the underworld are trying to break into the kingdom. The chief warrior had gone in search of the prisoners, he believed that someone helped them escape, and they might have taken along most of our weapons”

  “That’s impossible..we have a shield guiding the kingdom from any outer being,” One of the elders said

  “Fine…..someone should get me Onyx” Hunter commanded as the guards close by made a move to carry out his order but stopped when he cited Onyx coming in

  “I am here, my King,” Onyx muttered in a loud voice, walking in with his robe trailing behind and a staff in his hand. He has fully accepted the priest job, though he still wishes to work from the palace, which has always been his wish right from the time the late King was alive.

  He bowed in reverence to the king and glared at Lazarus, who returned the glare

  “Onyx, you came at the right time. Can you tell us why the sudden occurrence….what troubles are we having the those freaky beasts trying to break in”

  “The time has come your Highness, the time for the 300 years sacrifice to be made to the blood goddess” Onyx replied in a priestly voice

  “What sacrifice….” Hunter asked

  “The lilies…..” Onyx replied as another round of murmuring came up

  “There hasn’t been one for a long time..why does it have to be now..” One of the elders spoke up

  “That is true…but the truth is that we haven’t been paying attention, counting the years as it went by.

  There is currently a lily out there in the human world, and her existence is causing commotion in the kingdom of the beast. They need her blood to stay alive, or our blood will be their only survival. They must not break through the magic shield guiding this kingdom, or we are done for.” Onyx exclaimed

  “We need to sort this out before it is too late my king” One of the elders stated

  “We can’t afford to fight with the beast from the underworld, they are really dangerous” another chipped in

  “Silence” Hunter ordered

  “We are gonna find that lily and stop this madness. But how about getting to her, the human world is large. How can you probably find just one person?” Hunter asked in frustration

  “The scent…lilies are known for having a sweet smell, and they also have a particular mark on their wrist. It looks like this” Onyx muttered, bringing out a scroll as he handed it to Hunter.

  Hunter flipped it open, going through the picture on it. It is a picture of a slight blue feather.

  Lazarus frowned on seeing it. He had a feeling that he had seen this drawing somewhere, but he just couldn’t figure out where.

  Hunter rolled up the scroll and threw it back at him. Onyx caught it without much effort, letting out a smile that didn’t reach his heart.

  “So who will bring the lily” Hunter asked, as no one signified

  “It’s a job for the disciple..” Onyx smirked, as all eyes turned to Lazarus

  “I will give you a tracking ring that will locate the lily, but you will have to be careful. Lilies are dangerous humans, especially when they find out about their gift. Only the ignorant ones are easy to apprehend.” He stated, rubbing his beard.

  “This mission is for you Lazarus..find the lily and bring her here” Hunter commanded

  “Yes...My Lord” Lazarus muttered with a bow.

  “Meet me at the shrine for the ring,” Onyx uttered, and with one swing, he dashed into the air, leaving no trace behind.

  “That will be all for now…I will be in my chambers..and you…tell the Chief warrior to see me when he gets back from his search.” Hunter said to the young guard, who had been on his knees with his head bowed.

  “Yes, My king,” the boy replied, getting up on his feet.

  “Court dismiss…” Emmett muttered as the king left. The other elders only watch him, not moving an inch

  “You won’t want the king to get pissed at you all, you should follow my orders in peace, or you wait till you become pieces” he smirked

  “We will never take orders from you Emmett, Egeus is still our head” one of the elders replied

  “Hmmm…let’s see about that”

  London~~

  Stuffing her mouth with sweet popcorn, Megan watched the maids as they arranged some cloth into her traveling box. Well, let’s say she has finally agreed to go on a vacation, just to ease her brain off the stress. She had decided to visit Brazil this time since there would be a carnival coming up soon over there.

  “Is my princess ready yet” Oscar muttered, entering the room. Yeah, they will both be leaving for the vacation. She wouldn’t wanna go alone, and since her best friend Violet isn’t on good terms with her, then her boyfriend will do.

  “I wanna finish this popcorn first…it’s so delicious..hmmm” she let out a mo@n as Oscar frown

  “What” she asked

  “Well, you should be making that sound; I can just flip you over and get into your hole without minding the fact that we are leaving for somewhere,” He stated in a funny voice as she laughed. She dipped some of the popcorn into his mouth, while he placed a peck on her cheek.

  “Come on babe..the maids are done with everything..we need to leave. You won’t want us to miss our flight, right?” he pouted. She heaved a sigh

  “We could just go in my dad’s personal jet…”

  “Nahh…it won’t be fun..come on…I have gotten our ticket ready already.” He stated as she shrugs

  “Ok…. Let’s leave…”

  He placed his lips on hers, giving her a soothing kiss, as she reciprocated.
