Hello world!This is my first novel(?) on this website. Please don't expect too much, as English isn't my first nguage and I'm a bit rusty when it comes to writing. I'd just like to say a few things before we get into it.

  I don't use any generative AI to write any part of the story whatsoever, but use ChatGPT for stuff like research and feedback, as well as Grammarly to check spelling, punctuation, and grammar. I hate generative AI just as much as the next guy or gal and will always stand with other people who create real art.The age-old concept of "don't like it, don't read it" applies here, too. So if you're going into the story blind and end up surprised by the themes or events, don't say you weren't warned. Check the tags, they're there for a reason.Now, without further ado, I'll shut up and let the story do the talking.
