Chapter Nineteen Breakout Bash

“Alright, that’s it. My legs hurt and I can feel my brain moving inside my head. Can we just take a break?”

After hours and hours of running, they ended up on the other side of Edo. They were in the skyscraper’s garage as they quickly made their way through the place in search of Miss Moon and Mister Sun. He left the anonymous tip. He was testing them in ways that they wouldn’t even believe. And in the end, they had passed.

“So nice to see that a lot of you boys survived. Now, when will I be expecting my skull?”

They all looked between themselves before they had eventually all decided upon simply attacking him.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

  “I want the leg!”

“You know you're not getting anywhere.”

Mister Sun stood unfazed. The most they could do to him is slightly wrinkle his yellow suit. With a wave of his hand, he sent all of them flying away at a superhuman speed.

  “Impossible!”

Burino was pinned to the ground with the feeling as if he had been beaten. Not even when he was little at the orphanage when the other boys would beat him.

“You guys had an assignment and failed. All I must say is that your skills as thieves must be better than fighting. No offense Javier but I got to say that you failing as a pro boxer made a lot of sense. Now Burino, top of your class, that’s a real shocker that you could take a hit. To be honest, I was kind of expecting you to die during this but hey, they still have their mastermind.”

  “You’re a monster.”

“I’m a kingpin. You can’t expect anything from me. What a sad situation that all of you failed the test.”

He tossed a med kit and walked away.
