It was a day like any other, I was setting the warehouse up for the next round of testing, I was hearing the weather on my way to the building, the radio said that there will be a thunderstorm in the afternoon, I arrived and I found my colleagues ready to test the newly implemented gravity levitation device, Jimmy told me that we need to be extra careful with the prototype, because an overcharge could damage it, wasting our time invested into it and having to make a new one, and that we might face unexpected events.
I was doing some testing the battery to check that everything was working correctly, but it was still connected to the power line of the warehouse, I also tested the kick-start system, which worked just as fine, but just as the portal finally opened I heard some thunders outside the building, just as my colleagues tried to cut the power line of the prototype, I felt like how my entire body went numb, I couldn’t move, I fell to the ground feeling like all of my back was burned, then I heard a ear-splitting sound, I don’t remember how it sounded, I was disoriented, before closing my eyes, I heard how the prototype turned-on for a last time, then in the blink of an eye I passed from laps and 4 walls surrounding me to a dim light that almost felt like absolute darkness, a solid rock floor just like from any mountain, before I could pass-out and being completely at the mercy of the destiny, I felt a cold breeze, so cold it made me twist a little, before closing my eyes without any idea of where I was.
