Chapter 158: The Betrayal Secret Group

21st hidden dimension in the 3rd layer.

Little Mortal was now looking at many images floating around him in shock.

In each image, he saw familiar and unfamiliar characters and objects.

But there was one thing shared between all of the images.

All of them seem to be the future!

He saw an image with the 4 Ancient Ones facing Hypermind and its army.

He saw an image of the Vulture with a big black heart beside it, facing Xyron and many more cyborgs like him.

He saw an image of the White Canary, Undead Queen, and a couple of other managers he had recently killed in the challenge, facing the 10 Agents and an army of Aetherion.

And the rest of the images were of the creatures that he didn't recognize, but they were all opposing the Level 3 civilization's army or the Level 2 civilizations...

There were around 500 different images, and only a couple of them contained creatures he recognized.

  Little Mortal's breathing turned heavy.

"Don't tell me that all of these creatures are Fated Ones?

Don't tell me that Hypermind was peeking into Fate for so long that it already gathered 99% of the forces that Fate planned to face Hypermind with...?

Has the whole inevitable future plot been spoiled?"

Little Mortal walked between the images and gulped down.

He even found the familiar image Xyron showed the agents and said 'God' sent it.

"I thought our mainland was unique...

I thought all of the unique laws and all of the Fated Ones were gathered there!

But I was wrong... So wrong...

There were so many more Fated Ones!"

  Little Mortal gritted his teeth,

  "Hypermind, you disgusting paparazzi!

How can you peek into the future so openly?

How can you break into people's privacy on a multi-dimensional level?

How can you spoil the Fate's Movie from the beginning to the end!?

  You-you...!

Little Mortal was at a loss for words, seeing Hypermind had actually gathered a Fated Ones collection for itself...

After a while walking around, he stroked his chin thoughtfully,

"The number of evil mainlands outside is kind of close to the Fated Ones in these images...

Is it possible that Hypermind kept the important Fate characters and got rid of the rest?

  Shouldn't that be the opposite?

Why not get rid of the Fated ones, and end the story before it even starts?"

Scratching his head in confusion, he shrugged,

  "Whatever.

There is a lack of information.

I'll figure out later why it kept the main characters.."

  And left.

  ......

1 day until the beginning of the new season.

Little Mortal came back to the dark world again, and his teammates finally came back to their senses.

Lilith, while rubbing her forehead, asked,

"Did you enter that white dimension with hidden higher beings and universes?"

  Little Mortal nodded,

  "Yes.

But anything else about that place is classified information."

  Lilith stopped asking further.

Little Mortal, while looking at the tiny mortals around, nodded and then placed the citadel and the two birth treasures down.

"Partner, you stay here, I'll go take a look at the last layer alone.

You guys were already like that in the previous one, so..."

Lilith nodded and flew to her citadel.

"Sure, I don't want to experience a dimension even higher than the previous one either.

I already fainted in that one..."

Little Mortal then asked for the last 'layer detector', and after receiving a new disk, left.

  .....

  Level 3 civilization mainland.

Little Mortal, while snorting in dissatisfaction, appeared,

"I bet there is only one dot.

  The one Hypermind is hiding.

And I paid 100 pieces of pearls for it...

  Such a rip-off!"

  And activated the disk.

  "Eh!?

  There are two?"

  He gasped in shock!

Looking at the first dot, Little Mortal nodded,

  "That's Hypermind's dimension over there."

He could tell that it was the same dimension as the humongous pulsing brain inside.

The effect of this brain in its dimension was so much that Little Mortal saw it on his first visit without even looking for it.

It was in the Golden World and wasn't at the same time.

That's why it could peek into Fate without being caught.

"But what is the second dot?"

The second dot was somewhere else, with nothing around it.

It was an empty void in outer space.

Little Mortal first went to the brain, and after inspecting it, left a tiny mortal with a blue headband there.

"This dude is so close to the Fate dimension, and its law of information can even peek into the Fate and World Law's dimension.

So it's better to add a 'distraction' here for my plan's final move..."

This tiny mortal with a blue headband seems to be different from all the other tiny mortals and has a different purpose.

  ...

After arriving in the empty void, Little Mortal entered the last hidden dimension.

Inside was actually the Golden World of World Law.

The place with Fate, 'fair ground', and the path newborns could use and go back to their mainlands after being reborn through this dimension.

And as simple as it seemed, this dimension wasn't small.

It was as vast as the world and seemed almost endless.

Little Mortal walked to the only thing he saw.

In front of him was actually a person.

A man in a simple white robe stood there motionless.

Blond hair, blue eyes, not blinking or breathing,

Like a dead body that was stopped in time after its last breath.

  Little Mortal muttered,

"I thought for a second he was Meon Mennedy...

Wait, that was a game character, not a real person,

  Right...?"

He walked to inspect the guy in confusion, then looked around, and after not finding anything else, he placed a tiny mortal on the man's head before leaving.

This peculiar tiny mortal, with no headband, opened his eyes after he left, and after doing some hand seals, said,

  "..."

Well, his voice couldn't be heard, but his figure disappeared after whatever he said, and didn't appear in the dark world like the rest.

The only thing unnatural about him was the unique light of intelligence in his eyes that flashed for a moment!

  ...

Outside, Little Mortal, with a suspicious tone, muttered,

"That dimension only allows newborns in.

Which means that Meon Mennedy's imposter, while not alive,

Was a newborn body, or it couldn't stay there so openly..."

Little Mortal's gaze moved to the big brain above the tallest tower in the Level 3 civilization.

"Is it yours, you sneaky AI?

But why would you make such a body if the answer is yes?

What's the use of a newborn body?

And if it's not yours, then who does it belong to?

I will really go mad if there is another hidden character hiding somewhere..."

Then his eyes moved to an announcement on the central mainland visible from anywhere.

  [ Newborns auction.

  Today, at - ]

There was an address and a time that Little Mortal memorized while mumbling to himself,

"I looked into all of these hidden dimensions,

But I never saw any 'living creatures group' that Agent 99 said you need to pay to buy newborns...

I think I will know where they are if I go to this auction tomorrow."

  ....

  Dark World.

Lilith felt she might go crazy in this place.

It was so quiet that she could hear the sound of her own breathing and heartbeat.

To distract herself, she tried to find a random subject to think about.

And that subject was what would happen if her partner was exposed, and how they could deal with it.

Not finding any answer and tired of thinking alone about the complicated situation that might arise in the future due to her partner's exposure,

She sought the opinion of the two birth treasures.

These two have been with him for a while now, like his other birthday gifts,

And for some reason, he didn't leave them behind on this trip.

He didn't even bring the guardian token, his favorite birthday gift, with him.

The Guardian token in her eyes was his most important treasure, but it seems he was really in favor of these two.

The Crystal, after hearing her question, said,

You should know that he is already known as an 'underworld agent' here, so that's one layer of cover.

He is using Dark World law to cover his activities as a guardian, too, which is the second layer of cover.

  Back in our guardian territory,

Except those who are inside the universe,

The rest are all thinking 'Heavenly Father' is the main character, which is the third layer of cover.

Heavenly Father himself is like anything but a newborn, that you can think of as the fourth layer of cover.

  And all of that aside,

Here, nobody knows much about guardian law, and even if they do, they don't understand how it can take over something as vast as a universe or mainland just by betting.

Hypermind and sinners only know Vulture is the main character they need to face.

Now add his 'speed' of doing things to all of this.

He progressed to this part of his plan in only 2 months.

Even if others found out about him in the future, it will be too late, and everything is already over...>

Hearing the analysis, Lilith was stunned!

She was indeed too scared and focused on the negative part of the situation that she forgot about the positive...

And how did this crystal have such an answer ready for her?

She received the answer to this question from the notebook, which said,

Because we knew he was going to get caught sooner or later, and we would be in trouble.

Until we found out about a secret!>

Lilith, who found out these treasures were more stressed than she, asked in interest,

"Can you share the secret with me?"

  And the notebook said,

If you want to know, you should join our secret group first.>

Lilith felt there was something really wrong here.

How did a secret group suddenly show itself in this conversation...

"What do I need to do if I join this secret group?"

  The notebook answered,

And that one time will be the last time for the group, for the group members, and... for the world!>

  Lilith gasped in shock!

Why does this group sound like a suicidal group that has the power to blow up the world?

  She gulped nervously and asked,

"Who else is in the group?

Is your boss in it, too?"

And the answer shocked her even more,

Especially assistant Rose, she can't be trusted!>

Lilith felt the discussion was actually moving towards a dark turn...

She wanted to decline, but thought to herself,

'What if this secret group actually does something stupid?'

So she gathered her courage and said,

  "Alright, count me in."

The notebook made a backflip out of excitement,

  < Good!

  Finally, a strong member! >

Lilith was speechless, as was the Crystal, who was already a member of the secret group that the fanatic notebook had started.

The notebook started telling Lilith about the secret,

< As you know, Queen Lilith, our boss often gets angry. >

  Lilith nodded,

"Yes, he might even attack or force others to do things in that state of mind."

  The notebook continued,

< But there are two levels of anger when it comes to Boss.

The first level isn't dangerous in reality.

Most of us saw examples of it or even experienced it personally. >

  Lilith agreed.

< But there is a rare second level of anger, that we suspect Boss isn't a newborn in that 'form'! >

  Lilith's eyebrows raised,

"Is such a thing even possible?

How can an incomplete higher being 'change form'?

I saw many incomplete higher beings in my life, but I never saw or ever heard about such a thing!

  Their good nature is unchangeable."

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

  The notebook said to Crystal,

  < Show the evidence! >

And the Crystal sent her two private video messages.

Lilith watched it and furrowed after a while.

  The notebook said,

< As you saw, the purple robe manager who got a beating and was on the verge of death was a level 4 creature.

And in the second video, Boss almost killed Lubo.

While we, the birth treasures, don't have a soul,

In the world's eyes, we are in the living creature category.

So how could Boss almost kill Lubo, which is basically a birth treasure, or that manager if newborns aren't supposed to harm other creatures with a lower level? >

  Lilith went into deep thought.

  That was a good question.

  She asked,

  "How?"

  The notebook answered,

  < Anger!

If you make Boss angry, he will lose all reason for a short period of time!

Depending on how much this anger is, the time he isn't in his right mind can be more or less!

In the Manager's case, Boss was disrespected by him after putting so much effort into becoming a guardian.

And in the second case, Boss was betrayed by Lubo!

We know that Boss's strength, while he himself ignores it, can actually bypass the world law's restriction on a newborn!

And as he gets stronger, the effect of these restrictions is becoming less and less, while his control over his emotions becomes stronger and stronger! >

  Lilith had a bad feeling,

"Well, after the original world law split into underworld law, Fate, and the current world law, it's only natural that Mortal can ignore its restrictions...

But what are you getting at by saying these things?

  Just say it!"

The notebook, while a weird red aura appeared around it, said,

< Queen Lilith, aren't you worried what would happen if Boss is exposed?

Then you joined the right group, because 'we' already found a solution to deal with him on that day! >

  The Crystal, while annoyed, said,

  < 'You', not 'we'!

You came up with this 'solution'! >

Lilith's forehead was now covered in cold... or warm sweat.

What kind of 'solution' was this that this crystal was trying to push all the blame onto this little notebook?

  "W-what solution?"

The notebook, while even more excited, said,

  < Betrayal!

The solution is a group betrayal!

  If one day,

  Boss was exposed,

And if someone tried to use him,

We, the secret group, will attack him!

We all betray him openly, to his face, all together!

We all disrespect him and his achievements!

We ignite his anger using betrayal and disrespect!

  When he loses all reason,

when he sees all of his comrades were nothing but a group of traitors using him to rise in power!

Traitors, that he hates the most!

  Then,

  He will lose his mind!

He will destroy the world and everything in it!

And, the world will be restarted! >

  *BAM*

  Lilith smashed the notebook!

"What in the underworld's name are you screaming about!"

  The Crystal vibrated, saying,

< Notebook is a fanatic when it comes to Boss.

So it can only accept 2 outcomes.

Either Boss will succeed, or the world will be destroyed.

It believes that if Boss isn't in this world with all of his glory, then there is no reason for the world to exist...

We always thought it wouldn't talk to us or our Boss because it's depressed, and it misses its master.

But it turns out that it's exactly the opposite.

It was tired of its master for years, being all lovely with the God of knowledge and being a boring higher being.

So when it was taken away by the Boss, it suddenly found itself in an exciting journey it had always dreamed of...

You might not believe it, but the notebook was 'stunned' for over two years due to the sudden change. >

Lilith, who didn't even know if what the 'cult-master notebook' planned was actually possible or not, and suddenly heard an origin story of a bored birth treasure, asked,

"Who else is in this secret group?"

  And the Crystal answered,

  Except Assistant Rose.

Notebook was afraid she might tell Boss about this plan, and he 'lose all reason' ahead of time, so... >

Lilith felt this notebook was the only crazy one, but no, everybody else actually joined its craziness.

"Why would you all agree to such a thing?"

And before the Crystal answered, the notebook answered in its place,

< Because they, like me, believe that Boss never fails in his mission to unite the world!

So they didn't really care about joining. >

  Lilith was speechless...

She felt suffocated under so much 'trust'.

  "Sup, everyone?"

A familiar voice made all three flinch.

  The little monster was back!

  Lilith coughed and said,

  "Everything's fine, partner?"

  And Little Mortal nodded,

"Yeah, there was nothing special in the last layer, just Hypermind."

Then he picked up the notebook and wrote the time and address for the auction on it.

"And tomorrow is an auction for newborns.

We can go there and figure out what use these living creatures they pay to buy stuff have."

Then he looked at the darkness and said,

  "I forgot to check something."

  And left.

What he was going to check was Fate.

The last time he saw Hypermind peeking into its inevitable future, he left in a hurry and didn't inspect it more closely.

Now he was going there for a second look.

  A moment later,

Little Mortal, following the golden line, returned to the golden world.

The Fate source, in its Mobius-strip shape, was floating here with Hypermind's illusory figure underneath.

Little Mortal jumped on Fate and started walking on it, checking the connections that Hypermind was trying to make.

After an hour, he suddenly saw a small black line on its surface.

  Little Mortal frowned,

  "How could Fate get dirty?"

  And tried to clean it.

He wet his finger with his saliva and tried to wipe the small black line, but,

  "Eh!?

  It's not dirty... It's a crack!"

  Little Mortal was shocked!

Then he looked around to see if there was more of this, but didn't see anything.

To be sure, he started running on Fate to check the whole strip.

And sure enough, he found another crack!

  "What are these?"

Not finding any answer, he kept searching until he was back to the first crack again.

  "There are only two..."

He paused for a moment, jumped down from Fate, and ran to a place far away.

  Then he said,

"World law, how much should I pay to know why Fate is cracked?"

Who was better than world law to ask about the things happening in its main realm?

And world law, without asking for any price, answered him,

[ You are the reason. ]

  "What?"

Little Mortal almost had a panic attack!

  "I didn't do anything!"

To help him understand why he was responsible, world law showed him two images.

One was Lilith, and the other one was Aetherion.

Little Mortal, while breathing heavily, looked at the two floating images in front of him blankly...

  Then he disappeared.

A moment later, he was back in the dark world.

After doing some random hand seals, he said,

  "D-Divine technique, time stop!"

And after looking around and seeing nothing was moving in this area where nothing exists, he sighed in relief.

"Okay, now I have infinite time to analyze what just happened, and how, where, and when I messed up!

The reason world law didn't ask for any price was because I'm the one who messed up, and 'I' was the answer...

World law even showed me the evidence.

  Lilith and Aetherion.

But why are they the reason?

What did I do to them that caused Fate to crack?"

And just after a brief pause, he gasped,

  "Right!

  I changed their Fate...

No wait, I didn't only change their Fate, I completely cut off their connection with Fate!

If it were only because of change, what Hypermind is doing would be a lot worse than what I'm doing!

Fate had plans for so many different mainlands based on what I saw from the images in that hidden dimension.

So Hypermind gathering so many of them can 'kill' Fate.... "

Little Mortal chuckled nervously, and then his eyes widened in shock,

  "Oh no!

If cutting off fate's connection, like what I did with Lilith and Aetherion, can apply harm to Fate,

What would happen if Hypermind, which has a collection of so many Fated ones, suddenly decides to kill them all? "

  Little Mortal gulped down nervously,

"Hypermind has more than 500 Fated characters only in its Manager's collection.

If each one can cause a tiny crack like the two on my side, that wouldn't be enough to do anything to Fate, right?

So it is planning for more actions that can harm Fate.

  Like what though...?

If it were me, my best choice would be anything that can prove Fate isn't inevitable.

And the best action for that is to... Right!

To completely change the final ending that Fate predicts!

That will create a blow strong enough to break the cycle of Fate's inevitability! "

  Little Mortal frowned,

"But there is a big problem here.

What is the final ending exactly?

Hypermind can't be as good as Fate, and it is stuck in a lower dimension, and can only barely peek into Fate.

So naturally, it doesn't know about the ending.

It can't predict it either, because Fate is famous for being mysterious and unpredictable.

So, Hypermind needs to do 'what' and change the final ending without knowing it?"

  Little Mortal's eyebrows suddenly raised,

  "Right!

  Hypermind's collection of Fate characters!

It has most of the actors, and only needs to add a vulture group, and then with everyone gathered,

No more 'actors' will be left for the 'director', Fate, to play with!

Fate is always acting like its storyline is inevitable,

But without any 'actors', what storyline? what inevitability? What ending?

If hypermind kills them all at that point, it won't be a couple of hundred tiny cracks, but a complete removal of Fate's inevitability!

Little Mortal couldn't help but pretend that his leg went numb from the discovery, and dropped to the ground,

  "How is this possible?

Hypermind actually took 90% of the actors in Fate's story hostage?

And Fate itself, as the director, has no clue...?"

Little Mortal took a deep breath; his eyes suddenly started shining, and he became determined!

  "Never!

How could I let little Fate die? Over my dead body!

Now that I know what Hypermind and maybe even those sinners are planning to do, I should stop them!

  Let me think...

Why didn't Hypermind make a move yet?

It's because he still needs to gather the rest of the actors to be sure about the results.

And the next question is, why is Hypermind hiding all the time? Why won't it go out and catch that vulture personally?

The answer is... Oh, right, it fears what's in the 'Dark'!

Hypermind knows its most advanced cyborgs were sealed so easily by something that it can't understand, so it won't dare to make a move until it can deal with it!

That's why it seized the opportunity to study the 'seal' and even succeeded in mixing its cyborg army with 'dark matter' and 'dark energy'.

Hypermind knows that the source of 'dark matter' and 'dark energy' is something from a higher dimension than where Fate is, because while peeking into the dimension with Fate, it never saw any sign of them.

So it tries to understand what's in the 'Dark' through these cyborgs made of material that comes from a dimension higher than world law,

And simultaneously, making an army that world law and underworld law can't do anything about, especially if Fate is already destroyed when Hypermind takes action with its cyborg army..."

  Little Mortal snorted,

  "But,

I already destroyed its strongest army without its notice...

No wonder when it lost contact with the sealed area, it sent so many 'hunting dogs' to investigate the reason...

They were part of its plan for the time Fate is gone."

  Little Mortal shrugged,

"Well, good luck taking back your army.

Now, what's left to be worried about is Fate.

If Fate 'dies', one of the three parts of the original world law, the inevitable part, will be gone forever!

Even if Hypermind doesn't have an army, just destroying one-third of the original world law makes it incomplete forever!

Which means, I can't allow it to eliminate the Fated ones!

And because it already has many of them, even without the Vulture group, their death is going to have a big impact on the final ending anyway..."

Now, here is the problem: even my actions can change the ending, as it already did, twice!

So I should avoid any action that changes the ending.

But... I don't know what the inevitable ending of Fate is exactly...

Both Hypermind and I made a mess with gathering all of the main characters on our side...

Only my side is left to join them, and Fate will be checkmate."

  Little Mortal felt confused,

  "What should I do then?

How can I stop Fate from getting beaten up, or worse, killed?

  Can I make it stronger?

  I don't think so.

Can I make the inevitable ending happen?

Impossible, Fate acts mysteriously all the time, so the ending should be something that no one can guess.

Can I get rid of Fate without destroying it and just send it out of the equation completely?"

Little Mortal stroked his chin thoughtfully,

  "I... actually can!

  Easily!

I just need to bring back the original world law!

The one that contains all three parts: the Underworld world, Fate, and the current world law!

To do that, I just need to clear up the realm between!

  That I already did.

Right now, if Dark World Law's cover goes away, the two laws will know immediately, and there is no point for the two sides staying separated, so they can naturally merge together.

I only need to think of a way to force the 'independent Fate' to merge with the two.

Will it merge willingly, or because it wants to prove its inevitability, it stubbornly refuse to?"

  Little Mortal sighed helplessly,

"If I want to bet on one, it will be the latter.

  It won't merge with them...

So I need to think about a way to change its decision somehow...

Either way, I am on the right track.

Winning everyone's universe here means saving the hostages that can damage Fate if Hypermind's team tries to kill them.

What's left are the mainland's managers.

They are all 'Fated ones' and I need to guarantee their safety too..."

After a while, Little Mortal nodded to himself,

  "Good!

The situation isn't out of control!

  I can do this!"

And after doing some random hand seals, said,

  "Divine technique, time resume!"

And ran back to where Lilith was.

  ....

Lilith, who tried to convince this crazy notebook to forget about its crazy 'solution', saw her partner finally coming back and became silent.

Then she saw him turning the Queen's citadel and herself back to normal, and then going inside, as if it were his own home.

"Partner, do you have a room so I can take a nap until tomorrow?"

Lilith, the secret member of the betrayal group, awkwardly opened a passage to a room with a big bed inside.

Not long after, hearing him sleep, Lilith sighed in relief.

  "Zzzz..."

The monster was 'off' for now.

Tomorrow was the day for the auction and the start of the new season.

  ......

  The next day.

While eating breakfast, Little Mortal said,

"Partner, don't forget about the plan when we entered the first planet."

Lilith, who didn't know where this food was going after entering that body of his with only darkness inside and a single light source, nodded,

  "Yes.

After we entered the First planet, I'll just tell you who the higher beings and newborns are based on their sins,

And you will play the game like everybody else, as if I or your birthday gifts don't exist, so Hypermind won't suspect anything.

But how are you going to enter the Elevator?

You know they are waiting for you to appear, right?

I'm sure they even thought of a way to lock down the low-level dimensions when you appear again to prevent you from running away."

Little Mortal, while red smoke was emitting from him, said,

"That's easy, just watch and enjoy the glorious entrance of the Queen's envoy."

  Lilith nodded.

She knew he wouldn't tell her in detail about his plans because he hated spoiling the 'story'.

Even now, she didn't know how he was going to save and kidnap all his 'weaknesses'.

  .....

  Level 3 civilization mainland.

10 hours before the new season starts.

Close to 7 million creatures were gathered.

Little Mortal, who, with tiny Lilith on his shoulder, was standing on the tallest building of the central Mainland,

  Asked the Crystal,

"Little Crystal, do the number of creatures and the universes in outer space match?"

  The Crystal vibrated, saying,

  Little Mortal nodded,

  "That's fine.

If we do as I planned, they will release the imprisoned ones, too.

In our search, we already found out that they are criminals who can buy their freedom back if there is an opportunity to hunt someone with a 'bounty' inside the 'Game'."

In his search, he discovered that the reason for stealing something and fleeing to the new season planets was that each season could last thousands of years!

So the thieves could use the necessary stolen cards to advance in their quests and level up.

That's why even if they were caught, they could buy back their freedom by catching another thief in the game later on.

As time passed, all of the creatures separated into groups.

Each group gathered in front of an elevator large enough for everyone to enter simultaneously.

If there weren't many people in front, the elevator could adjust to a smaller size.

While looking at the elevator that leads to the first planet, Little Mortal didn't see many creatures there.

"Looks like the first planet isn't that hard to survive.

These creatures should be mostly newcomers."

  Then he chuckled,

"Agent 1 is there too, with Agent 11.

I think they are expecting me to go there."

Then he looked at the other elevators farther away.

Each had an agent in front of them.

Some had more creatures and some had fewer.

The one going to the last planet was actually empty.

That was probably why Agent 1 could leave his post and join the first elevator.

Lilith, who had a feeling of heavy pressure from an unknown source for a while, asked,

"Is there something special about this 'tallest tower' you are standing on?"

And Little Mortal, while pointing up, said,

"Yes, Hypermind is hovering above it, hiding in his own dimension."

  Lilith almost slapped his face,

"Are you out of your mind?

Why would you come here then?"

Little Mortal answered as a matter of fact,

"Where else can I see all of the elevators?"

  Lilith gritted her teeth.

His weakness of not having a spiritual sense was indeed ridiculous...

At this moment, a big hologram appeared in the sky for everyone to see.

Agent 99 appeared and started the auction.

It was a simple auction that everyone could bet with their spiritual sense.

And it was divided by the planet's participants.

From the highest level of the planet to the lowest.

First, the high-level ones would take as many newborns as they wanted, and whatever was left would be divided between the lower level planets.

Naturally, newborns didn't have many buyers from participants of planets 9, 8, and 7.

  Lilith commented,

"Well, these creatures are already level 7 or 6 at least.

So there is no point for them to have many newborns who aren't stronger than level 6.

Only a couple of them will do."

And after that, the lower the level of the planet, the more buyers it had.

It was only now that Lilith told Little Mortal how the deal was being made.

"Partner, it seems the living creatures that they are using to buy newborns with are inside cards,

But the cards are being sent from their universe directly to the planets above."

  Little Mortal was surprised,

  "So that's how it is?

Because only higher beings can live outside of the universe, they need to send them directly to the ten planets, which aren't a mainland, and are acting as a host for planetary creatures!"

The auction continued until all of the newborns were sold.

  Little Mortal asked,

"Little Crystal, did the number of newborns sold match the number we saw in their storage?"

  The Crystal vibrated, saying,

Little Mortal nodded and didn't say anything more.

There were around 500 Mainlands here.

In total, there should be 3000, but they were devoured or turned into level 2 civilizations.

But what about the newborns on each one?

They had many uses, and they didn't have a universe.

So where were the rest of the newborns?

Little Mortal's eyes flashed with cold light, looking at the crowd down below.

The newborns were either with the higher beings, or... they were dead!

That's why only more than 3 million were left, which might be just 10% of the original number!

Agent 99 appeared again and said,

[Everyone, now that the auction has finished ahead of time, you can enter your planets.

And as always, you can resell the newborns to us after the season is finished.

We know many of you will advance and don't need them anymore in your next journey.]

After his image disappeared, the image of the armored man replaced him again.

  Little Mortal smiled coldly,

  "Good... Good...

  You humiliated your ancestors!

  You sold them publicly!

  And now,

You are looking for your strongest ancestor?

  Fine...

I will meet you in a while."

The fanatic notebook vibrated in excitement, saying,

Just wait for the glorious entrance of the Queen's envoy!

The underworld envoy is here to unleash hell on you and bring destruction!>

The next moment, Little Mortal's figure disappeared.

  Only a sentence was left,

"Little notebook, write a cool 10-line intro speech for me!"

  And a vibration that says,

  Lilith and the Crystal,

  <"-_-">

It seems 'Ancestor Mortal' was going to start making trouble for his descendants...
