Chapter 15: reunion 2

Albina, Saga and Joker walk on the market street of Olzug village. This place is always full of people and still bustling with stalls of many different items. There was a Kobold stall selling colorful gemstone jewelry that sparkled in the sunlight. They have designs ranging from strange to sophisticated to attractive. Normally, Kobolds always steal money and gems to offer to their gods, not the jewelry makers or traders.

“Yo, Master Saga!” A small Kobold employee waved his hand.

“Wushzarath sathi?” Saga snapped his fingers and pointed towards the shop owner with a smile.

  “Sjath vethkeshka ~.”

The Kobold store owner opened his reptilian-like teeth and laughed. Albina smiled and waved, the Kobold also waved back. Walking to another stall, weapons and armor shiny with a cold metallic color and reeking of gunpowder were sold by a Hobgoblin - a race considered true soldiers. Guns of all sizes, pocket knives or swords like iron tables for those who want to kill dragons. There are armors from ancient times to modern times found in that store. Leather armors of various materials, including mythril and adamant, were also on display.

“Is Mistress Albina interested in these trustworthy boys?” The Hobgoblin with a tall man's figure leaned his hands on the table. With his other hand, he pointed his thumb at the extremely sturdy armor.

“She didn't go fight monsters.” Joker replied with the harsh truth.

“So what about Master Joker?” The Hobgoblin laughed, revealing four pointed fangs provocatively. “With firepower in hand, any enemy is no problem for you!”

"Are not." The black haired boy replied briefly.

“Sorry,” Ablina scratched her cheek and smiled awkwardly, but she also responded gently. “But if needed, I will come to you.”

“My shop always welcomes you ~.”

The Hobgoblin man crossed his arms, a confident smile on his face that the guests who had left would return. Oddly enough, just a few stalls away are different food stalls. Vegetables, fruits, meat, cakes are all sold by Orc owners! Usually, Orcs always deprive other creatures of their resources, as the ancient god Gruumsh taught them, taking the living land that other races had taken first. Therefore, the sight of Orcs growing crops, raising livestock, and trading like a market was impossible to exist. The three siblings walked a short distance to the area where food was sold. The hospitable vendors immediately gave them the best food they had. They put Australian specialties into the hands of the three siblings. From pie, lamington, fresh strawberries, kangaroo meat, tomatoes, cabbage.

“Hahah, they really look like friendly grandparents who give out snacks~.” Saga giggled at the miscellaneous bag of food.

  “T-that's a lot…”

Albina awkwardly tried to balance the bag in her hand. Carrying something high over her head without falling was not easy.

  “Please bring this back later.”

Joker puts his and Albina's food bags in the Bag of Holding. Then he placed the magic tool bag in the girl's hand and gave instructions.

“Uh… but Joker really likes chocolate cake?” Albina wondered with the Bag of Holding in her hand. She then gave it back to the other person.

“You're in your prime. Eat enough!” The black haired boy said with serious eyes, his hand pushing back the magic tool bag full of food.

"I really want to... but if it's too much, I'm afraid my weight will increase before my height..." The white-haired girl poked her index fingers together, looking shyly at the ground.

“Eh, it's good that Albina is still this petite~.” Saga moved his eyebrows up and down continuously. The bag in his hand shrunk into a marble, and was then stored in his pocket. “If you want to be a loli for a thousand years, just tell me~.”

“That sounds cute, but I want to soon become a lady like my mother.” Albina put her hand in front of her mouth and smiled softly.

“Hear that,” Joker glanced at Saga. "If one bad day comes and she suddenly shrinks, you know who I'll go to first."

“Eh, if you want to become a charming lady, it's easy~.” Saga rubbed his chin, grinning widely.

“…I don't think just looking older is enough. I want to be more mature both inside and out.” The white-haired girl with two tails blinked a few times and then shook her head.

“Please stop imposing your illusions on her…” The black-haired boy turned to Saga, his face frowning. He didn't look like he would hesitate in sticking a few steel wands into his blonde brother's body.

“Don't worry, I don't plan on touching your beloved sister~.” Saga covered his mouth, which was grinning sarcastically. “Everyone knows how great my love is for Albina~.”

“Read too many manga…” Joker sighed when he was forced to think that he was a siscon.

“You should cut down on teasing, Joker doesn't like it. Doing too much is no different than bullying!” Albina advised her blonde brother, who was a few heads taller than her.

“Yes madam ~.” Saga smiled and raised his hand in front of his forehead. When he turned his eyes to the market street, his eyes suddenly opened wide. “Hoh, there's a tourist who's a beauty~.”

“…She looks really cute, is she a model or a celebrity?”

Albina was equally amazed. She and Saga's eyes were glued to the rabbit-eared girl who was carrying several Bags of Holding bags. The bunny-eared tourist was holding a bone with a large lump of meat in the middle, something that looked like something straight out of a comic book.

“Ah,” Her hand was holding a piece of meat and gnawing. Her ears twitched at the sound of footsteps. When she saw all three of them, she waved. ”Joker ~.”

“Eh?” Albina and Saga spoke at the same time then turned to look at Joker.

  “…You bought so many things?”

Joker put his hands in his pockets, his eyes half closed. Looking at the number of magic tool bags on that female Shapechanger, he was wondering if she was planning to buy the whole market or was she planning to open a store?

“This town has many wonderful things. From irresistible delicious food, eye-catching clothes, and very high quality weapons!” Jarek walked closer and shared her thoughts after the shopping trip.

“Don't eat until your stomach hurts…” Joker averted his eyes.

“…Why is there no storm today!” Saga raised his hand to his forehead, his eyes looking toward the horizon beyond the edge of the sky town of Olzug.

“Is that sister your friend?” Albina could not hide her excitement and asked Joker.

“…You could say so.” A long, tired breath flowed from the boy's nose.

“I am Saga Blueblood, a scholar.”

Saga immediately walked to Jarek. He picked up a blade of grass from the ground. When he gave it to the rabbit-eared female Shapechanger, the grass changed its shape into a brilliant rose.

“Would you do me the honor of taking a moment?” Saga laughed lightly, his voice deeper.

“Ah thank you, I'm Jarek.” Jarek receives the rose. She tilted her head to the side, folded one rabbit ear and smiled. ”Currently my heart is held by someone else.”

The blonde boy followed Jarek's gaze. At the end of that gaze was none other than Joker.

“Naruhodo ~.” Saga nodded in agreement. His nose began to sniffle, his voice trembled. “Finally… my little brother has really grown up…”

“…” Joker did not answer. He walked up to Jarek and asked. ”Where is Grak?”

“He said he had urgent business so he had to leave.” Jarek swallowed the steaming succulent piece of beef and told the story. She pointed toward the castle. “He said that if you need anything, just go straight there.”

“… Concise instructions.” The black haired boy closed his eyes for a moment. "You just take your time, this market is open almost all day and night."

"Sound good." Jarek looked at Saga and Albina. ”And the two of them smell almost like you. Homie?"

" …Right." Joker glanced at Saga, then reached out to Albina. “He is my brother, a Wizard. And this is Albina Rafail, an Artisan specializing in alchemy and our cousin.”

  “Nice to meet you both.”

Jarek produced a tissue and quickly wiped his hands from the food he had just handled. Joker pointed his finger and made water, helping the rabbit-eared girl wash her hands.

“Thank you for taking care of my little brother~.” Albina smiled gently, she held out her hand.

“No, I got a lot of help from him.” Jarek quickly dried himself and shook hands with the small girl in front of him.

“I'm so glad to have you added to the Sabata family tree~.” Saga blinked one eye and then opened his hand. “And you can call me onii-chan~.”

“Eheh, that sounds hopeful~.” The female Shapechanger shook Saga's hand while giggling.

"Honestly, I was wondering why you guys were struggling to find where you were and haven't come home yet. Who would have thought it would be here." Hawa gently walked out of an alley with her arms folded. She shrugged and sighed.

“Are you free, Hawa?” Saga walked around, arms spread wide.

“Hawa is always busy, but there is no shortage of time to meet everyone.” The robot girl intimately hugged the person who was a head taller than her.

“I have to bother you again.” Albina's eyebrows drooped down.

“What's the matter~.” Hawa walked over and hugged Albina. She rubbed her cheek against the hair of Albina, whose petite figure resembled a bunny to her. “Hawa always has enough time to meet her lovely sister and her two chivalrous and cool brothers ~.”

After hugging Albina for more than a minute, Hawa got bored before going to Joker. She opened her arms wide, waiting for a warm hug in return. But Joker just took out his phone and pressed the screen, not paying much attention.

“I'm Jarek, nice to meet you~.” Jarek smiled softly, she reached out to hold Hawa's hand.

“Hawa of the Cleverwork family.” The robot girl shook hands with a sad smile on her face. “So… Hawa's beloved brother likes a beauty about her mother's age… No wonder he doesn't care about Hawa.”

  “Joker is so loved~.”

Jarek's rabbit ears swayed. She couldn't help but find the Joker's relatives interesting. The excitement to know the remaining people was increasing inside her.

“Well, losing a brother and gaining a beautiful sister wouldn't be a bad idea.” Hawa moved one corner of her mouth into a bitter smile. However, she quickly regained her confident smile. “No matter what, as a guest, Hawa will welcome you kindly. Hawa will guide you."

  “So thanks to you.”

Jarek held his hands behind his back. She followed Hawa towards the castle located in the middle of the flying island. The three Joker sisters also followed.

“I'm curious how you became friends with Jarek~.” Albina put her hand close to Joker's ear and whispered.

“I also want to know!” Saga leaned into his other ear and spoke no less excitedly.

  “…I will tell you slowly.”

Joker sighed. On the one hand, he lacked the motivation to tell Saga, but he also didn't want to offend Albina. For that reason, Joker had to choose to follow their wishes.

  ---In England, Allan's living room---

“…So you want me to help escort you down to the Dungeon?”

  "Right."

Allan sat in a chair with Yona next to him, on the opposite side of the chair was a man with dark brown hair. Earthling man with beard on his chin and messy hair. He had an unfriendly frown on his face and looked tired like someone over 30. Even though he was wearing a business uniform, it contrasted with his solid body full of muscles. He was also the first person to send an email and go to Allan's house.

“Can I smoke here?” That man took out his cigarette pack and asked for advice.

“Please feel free, my house has an air purifier~.” Allan smiled friendly and raised his hand to indicate ok.

  "Thank."

The customer took out a pack of pills from his pants pocket. He took a cigarette and lit it, his eyes moving back and forth quietly, not looking at Allan or the pack of cigarettes. Cigarettes were not the only smell that lingered on that guest, but also included the smell of metallic sulfur.

“…I'm Cide, I hope we can work well together.”

Cide took a breath from his cigarette, exhaling smoke from his mouth before speaking. The smoke was sucked up to the ceiling and disappeared before it could spread throughout the room.

“Anyway, what do you need down in the Dungeon?” Allan asked the visitor.

“There are some ingredients I need to help craft some items.” Cide replied tiredly.

“What is that?” the British boy was curious.

“Deck of many things…” The man took a drag of a cigarette, his eyes looking somewhat distant at the wall.

“A Magic Tool like that in this era sounds a bit impossible.”

Allan scratched his head in wonder. Because it's an item full of luck, not to mention it's not something you can just have. Although we have seen many magic tools, extremely rare, legendary or artifact level items have never been seen or heard of.

“Don't worry about it. If it seems unbelievable to you, just consider it just an idle fantasy of mine.” Cide laughed, strong cigarette smoke coming out of his mouth.

"I got it." Allan grinned, sat up and held out his hand. ”Let's try our best and go down to the Dungeon!”

“Help each other, kid.” Cide inched up one corner of his mouth, holding Allan's hand in response.

“And what does the Dungeon look like, Allan?” Yona then spoke up after sitting quietly in the seat next to Allan all this time.

“Hm…” Allan rubbed his chin and thought for a moment. “A bit dark, many monsters, winding roads... That's what I heard from the Hunters describing it. But we will be fine.”

“I will lend a hand!” Yona replied loudly.

  "Of course."

England boy grinned, rubbing his little robot sister's head. Yona's smile made Allan feel reassured. Yona is also a Hunter, and also saved him from a loss in the battle with the Monster Slime. Therefore, there is no reason for him to refuse Yona's help. Especially he wanted his sister to feel more secure.

“… You're so confident when you don't even know that dangerous place.” Cide frowned and looked at Yona. “And you're planning on taking a child into that place?”

“It's true that Yona is still very young, but she's extremely trustworthy~.” Allan patted his sister's fragile but strong shoulder. He looked at Cide, his eyes not shaking at all, his mouth smiling.

“If you say so…” the guest sighed and shrugged. Although he didn't know what the person he hired was really thinking, he had to bet his trust on this newbie Hunter. “So, when can you start?”

"Right now!" The Englishman gave him a thumbs up immediately.

  "…Very good."

Cide was silent for a moment, inhaling his cigarette deeply. His mind was full of doubts, not sure on what basis Allan had that confidence. Even so, Cide did not have many options so he was forced to accept the companionship of this rookie Hunter.
