Monday, 20th of May, Year of his Lord 0 NMT, County of Oxenfort, County seat at the Manor of Blindheim, Seat of Count Churchill of Oxenfort, 6 in the evening.
Present is the count, his family, his local pastor, and several local smaller lords, his servantstaff, and the Lord Protector.
The Count Churchill: “We are eternally grateful and honoured by this meeting with you, certainly the most important military asset of our time, and a special honour to me as my family too gained this seat for our military exploits.”
The Lord Protector: “I see your flattery, but I wish to tell you that you may lower your guard. I hold respect for you, your military tactical genius, you as a soldier, and how you tend your county, and I have already made my mind to not strip you of titles. I do, however, have to come to the crux of my visit, and that is that I intend to purchase your lands and holdings in Oxenfort and move you to a metropolitan estate.”
The Count Churchill: “I see. I would never pretend to speak against you, but I must beseech you, Lord Protector, that I have great topophilia for my hereditary lands, and I wouldn’t be glad to move from these lands.”
The Lord Protector: “I would normally refrai to speak business among so many men, but as I have but little time to stay i wish to tell you my bid for all your lands and holdings in this county is fifteen millions.”
The Count Churchill: “No decision can be made in such short time as this dinner, but I shall notify you of my decision regarding the sale within the week.”
The Lord Protector: “Much obliged. Be sure to send your compliments to the cook, and enjoy the rest of your evening, sir. Sirs.”
