The halls of the castle were dark, as this was a castle that housed vampires; windows were far and in-between, and of course, the chambers of Count Orlok were at the very bottom of the castle in the family's crypt. This was very strange to Alucard. Sleeping in a coffin was an old-fashioned tradition that not many vampires did anymore. Then again, Orlok was an old-fashioned vampire; he was far older than any vampire known to exist. Alcuard found his way down, and down he descended ever so slightly into the earth, with nothing to guide him but his enhanced vampire vision; even so, it was still dark. No human would ever see in this darkness; they would be forever lost in the maze of the solitary castle in the dark. He made his way to a large stone door with words written in the Ancient Gothic language. He did not know what they meant, as by this time the language was mostly extinct, save for a handful of vampires. It was so old that even his father, when he was alive, was too young to understand the symbols. He reached for the old door handle and pulled it open as he felt the door creak.
The crypt was dark and damp, as crypts are known to be. There was no light whatsoever. There were ten stone sarcophagi, nine of them had their lids closed, and one was open. There were also many old books scattered about the room; some of them were so old that the leather was rotting and pages were falling out. He bent down and saw one cover of a leather bound book that read in Latin “cientia Translationis Animae” or “The science of Soul Transference.” Alucard picked it up; he had seen this book in his father’s library. It was lost, however, when Castle Dracula was burned down. This was just what needed to help his wife be the woman she wanted to be. He looked around to see a tall leather backed chair at the end of the cyrpt he went over to it and knelt down. “Lord Orlok, I have come as requested.” There was nothing but heavy breathing from the figure in the chair until its yellow eyes opened and surveyed the area. Count Orlok was tall and emaciated; he had no hair but for a few strands on the top of his head, his ears ended in a sharp point, and his fingers were long like claws.
He spoke in a raspy voice in German, “Yes... Lord Alucard, thank you for coming. I heard what happened to your father; it is unfortunate such a thing could happen to one of us. These humans they went too far this time” Alucard grunted “Well in all fairness my father did attack them first the human were just defending themselves” Orlok scoffed “That’s what all the humans say, it is nothing more than a sheild for hatred” Alucard Sighed “Of course my lord” “Now that your father is gone, it is time restructure the council, I myself am not long for this world, my son will take over my responsibilities I want, you sister to take over your father’s old territories and responsibilities” Alucard was speechless he was wounded, he assumed he would take over his father’s duties as his first born son. “My Lord, I am confused.” Orlok laughed, “Don't worry, my boy, I have something much grander in mind for you.” Alucard perked up, “Oh?” Orlok took in a deep breath. “I have been told that the land across the great Atlantic. The... The United States has been growing in power and strength much faster than Europe. Is that true?” Alucard nodded “Yes they are starting to catch up with the advancement of places such as Great Britain and Germany, they have came out of their Civil War even stronger than before and vampires have been Immigrating by the 1000s” Orlok smiled “Good good, because I want you to set a permanent presence in the United States as well as well as the rest of North and South America, they are yours do with as you wish, no restrictions, no oversight” Alucard smiled “Thank you.... Sir.... this is most gracious” Orlok coughed and nodded “With that new wife of yours you will be able to set up a new dynasty across the sea” Alucard grew nervous “Well you see my wife is ....” Before he could finish Orlok cut him off “Yes I know that your new bride is.... not of our race and some hardliners will hate it, but I trust your judgment, if the future of our kind is more color so be it, you have my blessing”

Alucard was still nervous that somehow the other lords would find out that Stephanie was not born a man, not that vampires were anymore antagonistic about queer behavior than humans, it would just be seen as immature to fancy a “Man” in such regard. Same sex relationships were common with vampires, but it was something that was always on the side, secondary. Alucard knew his wife was a woman at heart, but not everyone would see it that way. “Thank you, my Lord. Is there anything else you need?” Orlook nodded, “We will put aside the matter of your new dynasty for the time being. We have more urgent matters to deal with. ”Alucard paused, “What problem is that?” “The human problem, we must strike back against the humans who killed your father, show them that they will not be tolerated anymore for what they did. I want to know all the names of this group, and then we will strike.” Alucard sighed, “What do you want me to do exactly?” Orlok laughed, “I wasn’t you to avenge your father, blood for blood. We will show them exactly what happens when they come after one of us; we will kill one of them. I need your help in selecting the right target for our vengeance killing.” “Of ...course..., Lord Orlok, I am happy to help.”
